Traveling back to Raliegh took a chance stop by for dinner. Older business in a small strip mall. Entered and sat myself. Was immediately greeted by server with menu and took my drink request. Drink came back quick and I ordered from a generous optioned menu. Decided on the lasagna. Came with a small salad and bread. Salad was fresh and plated. Nothing fancy but salad is salad. Dinner came. I was a little surprised by what I got. I like Italian food and order lasagna alot. This was a new presentation to me. The lasagna was centered on plate and drowned in red sauce and then draped with 2 slices of mozzarella cheese. OK so its here I will give it a try. I pulled the cheeses slices off and uncovered the noodle top. The lasagna was only 3 noodles deep. In between the noodles was what tasted like meatloaf. No other cheeses was evident even though the menu said it had regatta cheeses in it. The sauce was also an experience. It tasted like tomatoes all right but thats it. The whole plate was like chef-boy-RD. I did eat it. It just didn't taste like any lasagna I have ever eaten. The 3 starts are for the service. I wont ever eat their lasagna again. Update: I've given them chance after chance to improve. Now, I go out of my way to go to Pittsboro and eat from Ahmed's Elizabeth's Pizza. Elizabeth's in Siler City has went so far downhill. From the use of cheap products in the steak. Very poor quality. Not only do you not get a lot of meat--now it's more like poor version of "steak ums". Ordered baked tortellini tonight hopeful it would be good. I was served with 20 small multicolored GRREN and ORANGE pasta from the grocery store. Like what???! No thank you!!! Ranch is runny and not the same. Cutting back costs have them cost them my business. Staff--both cooks and waitstaff are rude and just ugh. I really hate Elizabeth's has lost me as a customer. read more

This a great locally owned Elizabeth's Pizza restaurant. Management here is phenomenal. Heather is as good as they come. Food is consistently good as well as the service. Menu is full of items that offer something for everyone to enjoy. Large tables inside that can sit large groups as well as additional party rooms located in the back. Beautiful outdoor seating is also an option here. Takeout is a big hit for this restaurant as well. I tend to eat the Philly cheesesteak with fries when I am here. They also have great sweet tea and several desert options. Check these folks out! read more

Sometimes it's really really good but most of the time it's just OK. They have some items that is are always good. Don't get the Lasagna the do not know how to prepare this item. The first time I ordered it I got a refund. The second time I ordered it shame on me for thinking it had changed. Same as the first time oh well. I really do love their salads, cauliflower bites, and pasta but their is one problem. There have been multiple times I have found hair in the pasta. When I told the lady serving me last time she was very sorry about it I showed her the long black hair and she took it away and made a to go order for me. I never had such good service before anywhere else they would ignore me but they really do care. They want their food to be great. Great little chain in the "greater Chatham Co" area. Today had the cheesesteak special. Great combo price. Fries were nice an hot, bread crispy, and the sandwich was superb. Service very good, they don't let your tea get below half. Good people, good menu, good prices. Gonna try the Pizza next time. read more

Honestly, I didn't expect much. In fact, when I first walked up, I thought "What have I gotten myself into? This building should be condemned. Call the fire marshall." Such thoughts were contradicted instantly, however, by the first delectable morsel. The pizza was simply incredible. They actually know how to make pizza here and actually use the right oven. It's the real deal and not typical NC Italian (a.k.a. Chef Boyardee or Macaroni con Ketchup). Lesson learned. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Highly recommended! read more

Wow, it's so hard to know what to actually write about tonight's cluster. We used the online ordering system to place a to-go. Three dinners, three salads, three desserts. When our son arrived for pickup, the waitress went over the order and sent him home with three big bags full of stuff. While unpacking, we realized his chicken Stromboli was missing, so we called to ask for a refund. They told us we had to drive back for a refund, so we drove back to get the Stromboli -- - 30-minute round trip (for the second time tonight). We called called and asked for them to either refund the Stromboli or give us a credit for a Stromboli next time. Then I asked if I could make a constructive suggestion to the manager -- that when they have multiple bags/boxes, they number them so the waitresses know the whole order has been given. But she snapped at me that she knew how to run her business and hung up on me. I called back to confirm she was going to confirm the refund and she hung up again. But no amount of call backs or yelling helped. I am so disappointed in the whole situation tonight. There aren't that many great restaurants in our small town, but we're so done with this one. This place is as close as you will find to getting a taste of NY without actually going to NY. I have eaten everything on this menu, and it is all good. My favorite is the chicken deluxe sandwich. The grilled chicken salad is a generous portion. The pizzas are large. My daughter loves the ziti and my son loves the stromboli. My kids think the ranch dressing is the best ever created. Nice friendly atmosphere with a good staff, and when the owner is there, he often comes out to make sure everything is okay. Probably the best place to grab something to eat in Siler City. read more

When you move away for 6 years, when you return there are many changed. And, so much remains the same. The later describes Elizabeth's Pizza. The food is great. High quality, tastes great and good quantity. My wife and I are Retired from the Navy and were stationed in Sicily. Elizabeth's has about the best. Service was pretty slow for no apparent reason but it was worth the wait. We waited almost a year after coming back to eat there. Big mistake. Again, well worth the wait. read more

Use to be a good place to eat, but they have changed recently. Raised prices on the subs and even started charging for the chips. Service is terrible and you are lucky to have your waitress check on you. They also have a service charge for ordering online which is something I have never experienced. Really wish there was something lower than a one to rate this place with. Sadly it was terrible! We were expecting much better after reading the reviews. The place is disgustingly filthy first of all. Dirty tables, dirty floors, etc. We had to find our own silverware, napkins, and to go box. The lasagna was like eating rubber. I took two bites and couldn't eat any more. The Stromboli was edible but not much better itself. So disappointed. read more

We eat at Elizabeth's every few weeks and enjoy the food and the very good service. Salads, calzones, Philly steak sandwiches are among our favorites. What I don't understand is why they don't clean up the over-crowded entrance areas. There's barely a place to sit and wait, and the "arcade" games there are useless. There's always lots of trash around the front door, trash on the foyer floor and a cluttered checkout counter. The glass door has notices that have been taped to it for YEARS and the glass itself never seems to be even close to clean. My advice to the owner/manager: slowly approach your restaurant from the parking lot, stop at the door and read, walk in the foyer and sit on the little bench. What do you see? Is it inviting, or is it a turnoff? read more

I am a believer in second chances so I came back to Elizabeth's Pizza two more times since the review I gave last year. Everything was clean and the food was beyond this world. I ordered one cheese pizza slice and the second visit a pepperoni sausage pizza slice with coke and fries. Everything tasted good and I'll be a regular from now on. read more

My brother and I have been patronizing Elizabeth's every week for at least 15 years now. The only complaint about the food is it not lbeing consistent. Ordering the same dish over and over doesn't necessarily mean you'll get the same looking dish. Every cook shouldn't put their own spin on any dish. It should always be prepared the same way. The service was downright awful when our waitress says she will be right back with refills and condiments only to get back to you when your about 90% finished with your meal. Thank goodness Heather stepped in and told us to ask for her anytime we came in. My last visit (WHICH WILL BE MY VERY LAST) was again with my brother. Apparengly Heather was off that day. We always get the $8.99 lunch special or so I thought. The online menu listed the daily menu prices but when I went to pay, we were actually charged for each individual item. A salad, drink and Stromboli equaled roughly $15.00 each including tax.. When I inquired about the online price, I was told they weren't going by that. They were going by a $2.00 off coupon that was given in the mail. After the discount I still paid $26.00 for 2 lunches. Of course the manager had just left and no one was left in charge. I left my name and number with the cashier for the manager to call back but no word and there probably won't be one. What a shame to have frequented for so long and now have to say goodbye to them. Maybe they'll get their act together because there are far too many places to have lunch in Siler City. read more
