First of all, to the workers at the front working 09/06/2025, don't ever disrespect my wife again. Had an order for 4:45pm to be picked up, went inside with a positive attitude and asked for my order which wasn't done yet so I waited as long as I could for it. 20 minutes past and still not done so I asked my wife to go in and see if it was ready, once again, wife went in with a positive attitude until the workers at the front want to act like it's busy with no one in line. Also when asked for corporate number to voice our concern, looks like they didn't even give the right number. 9107051133 If this was really corporate, it wouldn't go to voicemail or reject our call. And also we come from service industry and we get the short staff, but have some sense of urgency and at least the decency to be nice to people, ESPECIALLY when we were being nice to YOU, if anyone should be upset or annoyed, it should be us. And one more note, a good manager is never too busy for an upset guest. And a good manager doesn't send someone out to tell an upset guest that they're "too busy" with only like 4 people in the restaurant. It's always good to be kind because you never know what people are going through, but there are ways to go about it. read more

The food was good but the service was horrible. Very RUDE staff making the order. At 8:45 Thursday evening OCT 10th female staff member shorter one not the taller one. It's obvious they are all new using their laminated cheat sheet cards for the ingredients (which is ok) but poor customer service ruins the experience . This staff person needs more support with face to face contact with customers or better to let her do background work until this important skill is learned. $40+ for 2 people salad bowls and lemonade in Fayetteville is not cheap. I've decided I'm tired of getting terrible service. So I'm taking away 5 stars. I'd take away 2 more if I could. Very rarely can I say I have had bad service but it seems to be a Fayetteville trend. Not being greeted, being ignored, and having someone who works behind the counter in a service industry who acts like you aren't standing in front of them is ridiculous. Luckily there were two girls working the front or I'd still be standing there, with one behind me, wondering if my money is green like everyone else's. The food here is delicious. I'm not a fan of mass produced chain food, fast food, or previously prepared food. Fayetteville is loaded with that garbage. Cava reminds me of the awesome food on the West Coast. I want to give the biggest shoutout to the staff who was working around 1 today (September 22nd, 2025). It was my first time in so I didn't even know where to begin. The staff was polite, knowledgeable, and offered samples to ensure I liked what I would be ordering. Several staff made decisions when I couldn't make up my mind and asked them to surprise me. It may have been silly, but I truly couldn't think straight. We had a horrific family emergency less than 48 hours ago that has left us scrambling. We came in just to have healthy options for a meal and were met with incredible staff and food. I want to hug every one of the sweet people working today. Growing up in Fayetteville all my life but currently living in Raleigh where I frequent the local Cava, I came home for Christmas and was SO HAPPY to find out that there has been an established Cava here! I love Cava so much and this one was a great size with great, quick service and food. Everything tasted very fresh and cooked to perfection. My order was a salad bowl with: - Greens: Splendid greens & supergreens - Protein: 1/2 chicken, 1/2 roasted veggies - Sauce: Harissa on the side - Veggies: Pickled onions, tomato & cucumber, lentils, corn - Pita on the side, of course! 10/10. I can't wait to come back and try you when you are fully open, but definitely today is a great start. At the community day today the staff was welcoming from the front to check out.. I liked that they really opened up the space for seating and walking around--it doesn't look like the same place! There is not too much color with little pops of white, brown, and black. On the walls as you walk in they boast how they work with local farms and all their ingredients are made and chopped up fresh every day--and you can tell. All of the items along the line were do colorful and so tempting to eat. The menu is super simple with first deciding on your base of a salad, greens and grains, mini pita, grain bowl, large pita, or right rice. For my base I decided to get the greens and grains bowl with spinach and right rice. Right rice is a delicious high protein mix of lentils, chickpeas, and peas. They give you plenty of food and options. I tried to decide between everything and it made my head hurt a little bit, but a good hurt. For my toppings I got tzakihi, blended eggplant, crazy feta, honey chicken, roasted vegetables, stewed tomatoes, and pickled onions. For dressings I got a side of their hot hatissa vinaigrette. Since it was a community opening they were not accepting payments, but donations to the Second Harvest food bank.. CAVA has come to Fayetteville! This DC area chain has always been one of the biggest hits of fast casual bowl meals for me, and they've evolved to include easy options for the modern age, with an app that you can order food on, which will be on a shelf when you arrive. This location screwed up by being hard to find; everything says Cross Creek Mall, but it's sort of in the parking lot outside the mall on the far side from the highway (which is good, because the mall closes early). In this day and age, you really need to make sure your new restaurant has accurate map markers on all the websites and that your fancy app can tell the customer how to get their food. I wandered around for a while looking. The food, though, was as good as ever, though their menu keeps evolving. The dips and spreads they build their brand on are served in ample portions and remain delicious, but they've got great options like lentils for a "grain" as well as "right rice", a high-protein product made out of beans (which is good but which I didn't feel like paying extra for). The vegetables were crisp and the overall balance of my bowl is pretty much exactly what I want to be eating. read more

So I wait for them to remake it while getting THE MOST attitude. I didn't understand how it was my fault they gave my order away. I gave it a try and instantly regretted it. I ordered online and it wasn't ready when I got there and it was past the time given on the app. They were too busy talking. They made it as I waited, which was fine, but when I got home, the rice wasn't even in the bowl. I ordered a grains and greens bowl. This left me a soggy mess, even though I got the sauce on the side.. There was nothing to soak up the juices from the chicken, which had a strange texture, and the toppings. I ate four bites and threw the rest in the trash. I didn't even bother calling and complaining because I have no desire to return. Only one out of four employees were friendly. This place is hit or miss. Depending on who the server is, the nice older ladies are amazing. The younger ones se like they don't want to work there. DONT WASTE YOIR TIME ORDERING FOR PICK UP!
