Not impressed. Unfortunately I think these dishes were just not good. Let me explain. Ordering the lambs chops, we're decent, tough meat and it was so expensive for just a couple tiny pieces? I don't think the seasoning either is anything great. Not happy with this meal. The beef skewers were also so tough. Extremely well done meat that was not appealing. The seasoning felt like tiny little wooden chips in my mouth, really don't know if this is how all Mediterranean food is but I for one did not enjoy this at all. The rice was plain plain plain with a side of boring. I'm not a fan of this rice for the lack of flavor and seasoning and it was very dry. The salad was alright. I don't think I enjoyed the dressing personally so I can't say much there but it was sour and tangy. Really bitter too made my lips pucker. Won't be getting that again. The inside seemed so cute, even the outside was adorable with the lattice and tables. Inside had an array of wines and spirits. Nice fitting music for the style of food, I liked the home look. The staff were very very sweet and friendly so no worries there! I just wish this place wasn't so expensive and also honestly maybe it's just not my flavor.
I have gotten carryout here a few times and dined in once. I mostly like to go check-out the wines selection since they seem to change what they are selling by the bottle ever so often. The staff has always been friendly and easy-going. The salmon is to drool for! That is always my item of choice. I have also had the appetizer platter. They also often have special items (other than what is on menu) to offer as well. Dining is semi self-service: you are given a number card to place on the table so that staff can bring your food. Drinks (other than alcohol), utensils, napkins, ect. you get yourself. This type of service was efficient and I liked that a server was not checking-in every few minutes. This is the perfect place to have a quick lunch or quiet dinner.
The lamb souvlaki was lacking flavor, no seasoning at all! .Got a wrap and it was barely filled. My wife got the spanakopita and she said it was mostly opinions and cheese, a tiny bit of spinach and greasy. I will never return, very disappointing.
Unfortunately inflation has heavily impacted this business! While the people working have always been exceptionally kind the portion sizes make this place a rip off. My boyfriend and I stopped in to have lunch and he order the pasta bowl, the portion was smaller than a kids portion. The small cup used at most places as a soup or side item cup was the amount given and it was $15!!! I ordered a spicy chicken gyro and the wrap had two small bite sized pieces of chicken in it. Not even one whole chicken tender worth of chicken and my wrap was $12. It's completely unacceptable to keep the prices so high and cut back on your portions to this degree. This isn't my first poor experience here either, it's my second time visiting and both experiences were quite disappointing so I won't be returning.
5 stars! I went there with my mom, my Goddaughter and her younger brother. They were patient with us ordering for ourselves and kids. I got the cornish hen special. The kids got Pizza. My mom got the lemon chicken. Everything was delicious. My cornish hen stuffed with rice was well seasoned. The kids requested another kids pizza to split. All in all... I would definitely go back

I stopped by here with a party of three adults, three kids and a puppy, who we could seat outside. I've been going to pharaohs and Fayetteville for my Mediterranean fix, but this place is going to be our usual spot now. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable of their food, and take a pride in their restaurant that is warranted based on what I ate. Upon learning that the owner (?) is Palestinian, I couldn't help but support his business and he was quick to recommend these pastries. The orange one is what made me go holy shi-, has been made beforehand. All of the food came out after 5 to 10 minutes and was prepared exceptionally. I've eaten at one or two Michelin restaurants, as well as talk of the town places, and while this is not necessarily a Michelin restaurant just yet the food is authentic, prepared well, in a seasoned in a way that is balanced and flavorful that you would find at a Michelin restaurant. Moreover, what really stood out to me was the fact that this place reiterate the concept of Mediterranean, and that it's healthy, not overly oily, and not overly fried, which we all can appreciate. The price is fair, not on the side of overly expensive, or overly cheap, and the portion size is mindful to get you full in the japanese Hara Hachi Bu, where you eat until you are 80% full, which you can top off with some desserts if you choose to indulge. I absolutely recommend this place over its competitors, and I recommend turning in from Skibo Road, as other reviews might mention the narrow passage way in the back. If you're not convinced, check out the pictures, you'll find a plentiful, yet not overpowering amount of sumac seasoning. Best of luck to the owner and I'm definitely gonna come back here. Be sure to check out what else they might have available as there were a lot of merchandise and goodies that I didn't get the chances to take a close look at or they were not obvious. Remember to ask about the specials, which will not be on the menu but are definitely worth it!
Out and about looking for a quick lunch. This place had great reviews. And they were well deserved! The food was so good! Everything had unique flavors and tasted delicious. I had a gyro and some chicken soup. If you like chicken soup get it here. Great spot with great people. Highly recommended
WOW. WOW. WOW. This was the easiest five stars I've ever given a restaurant! Parking is easy, they have their own parking lot! We came in on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy, thank goodness. You walk in and you order before you sit down. It's very spacious in there, beautifully decorated, lots of seating inside and a few tables outside that is covered and has pretty string lights for when it gets dark! We were instantly greeted (IM HUGE ON THIS) and we felt so welcomed to be there! Thankfully they had a kids menu! We ordered our kids chicken tenders + cheese pizza and they loved it! I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Platter (pictured below). My husband ordered the Trio Shawarma Platter (beef, chicken, lamb), and we ordered Naan & Hummus to go. We decided to sit outside since it was nice and warm out. A couple minutes went by and they brought out side salads for us, I didn't know that our platters came with it! Maybe it was complimentary? That was really good. Not your basic salad. Our food came out pretty fast and was nicely presented on our plates, perfect portion, and absolutely delicious!!!!!! The Tzatziki was *chefs kiss*. We highly recommend this place! We will definitely be coming back. Extremely family friendly! So happy we found this spot

We love Mediterranean food so when we saw the ratings and how busy the parking lot was, we had to give Olea a try. It was super busy on a Sunday & all the tables were filled. You order at the counter & they bring your food to you. Chicken schwarma sandwich was just ok since we've had better versions of it. My appetizer sampler, which was my entree, was pathetically small & frankly embarrassing to call it an appetizer sampler. Appetizer samplers are usually a lot bigger so it could be shared by everyone at the table. Taste was fine but there were only 3 small pieces of cauliflower & 3 squid rings, 1 kibbah & a small scoop of baba ghannoush. I'm a small eater & even my family was afraid that I wouldn't have enough food. read more
Customer service was good no issues. Liked how you placed your order and sit down anywhere and they will call or bring it out once ready. Liked how it's very settled and calm in this restaurant. They have items for sell as soon you come in, like olives. The hummus was actually good especially with the falafel. The lamb chop and rice had good flavors but it wasn't as tender as I thought it would be. Definitely cooked well tho. read more

There's a certain kind of place you don't expect to find--especially not tucked into a strip in Fayetteville. The kind of place that doesn't just feed you... it reminds you why food matters. I walked in skeptical. Daily special? Braised lamb? That's usually where things go sideways. Not here. The feta with warm pita was simple and spot on. The mozzarella and tomato salad--fresh, clean, done right. And that lamb... slow, tender, full of flavor in a way that tells you someone in the kitchen actually cares. I've sat at a lot of tables across the world, and this felt like being in someone's home--real food, made with pride. Add in genuinely friendly people and an easy, welcoming vibe, and you've got something special. This is food that nurtures everything that makes you..you. True soul food. You owe it to yourself go eat here. read more

Chose this restaurant to meet up with some family members based on Yelp. The staff were friendly, the restaurant itself had about 15 booths/tables, and the food came out quickly. Once you enter, you order, pay, and they will bring the food to your table. The cost of the dishes were pretty average. Usually we're fans of Mediterranean food but this restaurant was mediocre. However, my appetizer and the baklava were very good. The entrees for myself and my family rated everything else average. read more

Excellent service, authentic taste, and friendly people. I ordered from them first on Uber eats then had to come back in person four more times over two trips a couple weeks apart. It's got a gorgeous interior perfect for a date night. read more

Stopped in for lunch one afternoon & ordered at the counter. We got the souvlaki (chicken & lamb) plates and hummus. The pita and hummus was very flavorful and good. A bit overpriced but good. The plates we got were a good portion size but the seasoning wasn't exactly great. Seasoning didn't add a whole lot of taste on either the chicken or the lamb. The salads were fine but nothing amazing. It isn't a bad spot for lunch but compared to other Mediterranean places we have had, it's just okay. Service was good & people were nice. read more

Olea is a nothing short of fantastic. I've been making healthier choices during these past few months as I was really eating horribly during the first few months of COVID-19. So, passing Olea and looking them up was an amazing surprise. They have everything from wraps, to salads, to dips, and everything in between. Unfortunately they did not have online ordering, but I was able to call and the woman that answered the phone was so nice. She understood that this was my first time trying out Oleas and suggested the chicken tawook as I was debating between that and the swharma. I also ordered a side of their baba ghanoush. I was told 20 minutes and when I was arrived it was there. The staff was so nice and told me that I was so nice. They made me feel right at home and even gave me a free drink for it being my first time there. The man that checked me out was one of the owners and told me he was originally from Greece and all of the food was made fresh.. The overall atmosphere was so relaxed. I definitely wanted to stay and eat and I definitely will do that. Especially because the food was so good. The baba gnaoush surprised me as it was full of flavor, but not spicy like I was expecting. The chicken tawook was the same, not spicy, but full of flavor. They give you enough food, but not too much. I definitely will be back for more! read more
This corner spot is conveniently near some of the local auto repair spots, where one might walk while waiting for a car to be fixed. It was open for indoor dining when I stopped by. I tried some hummus and falafel, and the hummus was excellently spiced, and graced by some whole chickpeas. The falafel was a fairly straightforward garlic and parsley flavor. I added a tea as well, which arrived richly flavored with fresh mint leaves. Inasmuch as service is a thing in this day and age, I got offered a rundown of the vegetarian selection (which they brought up, not me, which shows they're paying attention) and had plenty of people checking on me.
