They took my money but not provide a product, nor were they willing to offer any type of compensation for inconveniencing myself or my family and guests. Never contacted me directly and was only connected to them through Doordash. They told me it would take 7-10 business days to refund my money. Still offered no compensation for their flat our refusal to complete my order. I am done with this company. read more

Very busy locations, but great professionals at the registers, cooking the food and the runners who bring the food to you. If I had known they were going to bring me my food without going to get it, I would have tipped them when ordering. Typical delicious yummies at Panera. I could the You Pick Two and got the Onion Soup paired with a Roasted Turkey and Avocado BLT, which I love and a bottle of water. In less than five minutes, our piping hot food was in front of us ready to be eaten. The onion soup was hot, had plenty of cheese and onions and a great flavor. The sandwich was a little bit of heaven, and very filling. I opted for potato chips instead of the apple or bread and they were good and on the low end of salt content. This location was surprisingly busy for 1:45 pm on a Friday afternoon, but they churned out the food quickly and accurately, which are both marks of a great restaurant. This location has extended hours until 10 PM. so arriving at 8:45 PM. wasn't going to mean rushing to inhale the meal. My husband and I ordered #229705. This is the worst grilled chicken Caesar salad I've ever had. I do order from other Panera's and haven't had anything this pitiful. The lettuce is wilted, there is less than an 1/8 cup of chicken, scant Parmesan cheese but wait for it.......at least 1/2 cup of stale croutons. Does that sound good to you?? No it does not. I will never order or even stop for coffee again here. The salad was nasty and the broccoli cheddar soup was cold and tasteless. This was a waster of $$ and a waste of time. We are great fans of Panera bread and over the years enjoyed this location a lot. But lately, it really is going down in quality. Especially, if you are going there for dinner and looking forward to enjoying a nice coffee with a cookie or brownie. The cookies they have in packed form and they taste hard and dry and almost stale. Brownies are even worse. Husband and I had lunch on Saturday at Panera Bread. It was his first (and dare I say last) visit to PB. We had the mac and cheese which was made with white cheddar cheese and, I thought, quite good. And we split some turkey sandwich. The sandwich was uninspired. This was not a proudly-made, handcrafted sandwich. It was two slices of bread, some turkey and cheese slapped on all bunched in the middle and some sort of tomato spread. Sticking it on a sandwich press only squeezed the life out of the bread. Normally I love this panera, I order from here all the time, but recently it's been a huge letdown for breakfast. I order the egg white avocado and spinach sandwich, the other day when it was picked up it was a little sloppy but I figured they were probably busy so that messy sandwich was overlooked. But today it couldn't be. My sandwich had soggy tomatoes that fell apart, almost a tomato mush. The tomato tasted sour and spoiled. The egg whites were split all over the box, barely any actually made it on the sandwich and one small sliver of avocado was added. The spinach was wilting as well. I often eat at Panera and usually go to the Lansdowne or Frederick locations. I have to agree with other reviewers that this location is terrible! It is overcrowded, dirty, restrooms not kept up with, and my order is often not right. Best place to eat when shopping at the outlet mall. Their soup and half-sandwich combo is just the right amount of food to refuel yourself and continue shopping. Their pastries are delicious. I'm partial to the chocolate pastry (which is in all but shape a chocolate croissant). Also, the cinnamon coffee cake is great. I buy a whole one to take home when I'm having houseguests. I started frequenting this chain of restaurants several years ago when I learned that they had a program, in some locations, which allowed people to pay what they could afford and what they thought it was worth. This was an excellent program in underprivileged neighborhoods and actually netted the company more money. I'm sure that didn't take place here, but I give them snaps for a such a worthy effort during the really bad state of the economy. People, as they often do during difficult times, stepped up! Some paid more, some could only pay a small amount, and some paid for others who could not. At least that's what the news article reported. Great effort by a corporation to help their communities. I'm glad I learned about Panera's trial run of this program because it got me into the restaurant. Of course, I'm sure that was part of the agenda, but still I enjoy their food. It's not five star dining, but for a quick sandwich and/or soup it's one of the best places in Leesburg. This is my favorite stop for a nosh during shopping excursions in Leesburg. The prices are almost the same, too, which, I assume, makes it rather expensive for Virginia. New York City is reputed to be the most expensive city in the United States. I came here on a Sunday morning for a meeting. It was around 10am and pretty quiet, but by the time we left around 11:15, it was really crowded and quite noisy. I'm not sure if the ordering process here is unique to this Panera but I have never seen it anywhere else. We ordered at the counter, were given a "buzzer", and our food was actually brought out to our table. That was really convenient so we didn't have to interrupt our meeting to go up and get our breakfast sandwiches. The coffee was fresh during this visit. I particularly enjoy the Hazelnut blend. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches of the same variety, ham/cheese/egg. They were served hot, and were tasty enough (although quite small) but not something I would ever go out of my way to order unless, for example, I was having a meeting at a Panera and wanted breakfast. Service was friendly both at the counter and tableside. The location is also quite convenient if you plan to do outlet shopping at the Leesburg outlets across the way. read more
