Fluffy and creamy on the inside and had a perfectly made crust. Service (4/5): There aren't any prices on anything which is super annoying. However, the nice people in there said all the whole pies, including the cream pies and quiches, were only $30, which is a steal considering that pies at Wegmans or Whole Foods are that much, or more. The banana cream pie was nice too and was slightly less sweet than the coconut cream pie. The pie crust was flaky and perfectly cooked. The taste was pretty classic. I can't speak for the other pie flavors but neither were too remarkable to me. Check out was quick! I think I was in there for less than 5 minutes. Kinda felt awkward in there since music wasn't playing and it was pretty quiet but that's probably just me. Overall, I think a nice spot to check out if you are in the area!

Apparently it's popular, so you either need to go early or luck out. The cream puffs and cookies are great, but I finally got a kouign amann. It's a lovely pastry. The sugar/thin layer of caramel on the top is substantial without being too thick. Just enough to hold and break apart. The laminated dough is nice as well. Not overly buttery, but still light and fluffy.

Matcha Lab Experience…read more After having been to Seven TeaHouse several times, we wanted to try one of their tasting experiences - the Matcha Lab! Our host, Cody, was incredible and super knowledgeable about all things tea. He guided us through everything from the origins of matcha to how to make it ourselves at home. It was especially helpful to watch him make the drinks and see the proper technique for whisking matcha and what temperature water we should be using when making our own, etc. For the tasting itself, he made us 4 different matcha drinks - all of which were soo good!! It changed my perception on what good matcha drinks can taste like and I think has increased my standards (for better or for worse lol). If you love matcha, interested in learning more about it and want to try some different matcha drinks not offered anywhere else, I highly highly recommend the Matcha Lab.
