I rarely take lunch breaks I've seen the advertisements for the ALL NEW Mediterranean Bowls, and was actually excited to try one. I left work, drove 20 minutes (one way) to try this all new item that's being advertised. I made my order, and was informed "we don't have any rice, sorry no bowls". So, 40+ minutes driving, an hours lost wages and no lunch. How do you make your main advertisement, get customers in and then not have to product? I won't be back. read more

My daughter slipped by the beverage fountain area. The rug was damp and the floor tiles were wet from either the fountain leaking or spilled drinks. No one took initiative to clean the area or put up a sign of wet floor. The ceiling tiles over the waiting area by the kitchen have lots of water damage and if you look closely they're growing mold around one of the vents. read more

Came early Sat morning, the coffee is Un drinkabl, so bad so I took it back and had them remake my daughters iced coffee. Still not worth the money at all. My hot caramel latte isnt great cannot even taste caramel at all. My daughters breakfast sandwich was burnt. good news my scone was ok. The Turkey Chili is yummm and includes some healthy veggies. It has a nice smokey, spicy full flavor and is served with a chunk of fresh bread from the bakery area. 1/2 serving is plenty for me. If you are really hungry you can pair it with 1/2 salad or 1/2 sandwich. The Lake Jackson location is great! We always get the bakers dozen bagels when we're having family over, and they have some amazing flavors, they're fresh and have just the right chewiness. The soups are hot and delicious. The steak and white cheddar sandwich is the best, but it can be hit or miss with the amount of filling. I've gotten it loaded and once it was pretty stingy with the steak. Still delicious though. If there's one thing that needs improvement, it's the drive through layout. You're either blocking the parking lot entrance or you're about to get the front of your car hit by drivers that the road exits onto. That's not Paneras fault, just a minor annoyance. read more

I doubt we will ever go back! Years ago we were excited about getting a Panera Bread, but this location is inconsistent and has gotten worse. When the food is good, we can overlook slow service but when you get bad food and bad service repeatedly, it is time to give up. I opted for their "You Pick Two". The cup of creamy tomato soup was awesome. 1/2 asiago steak sandwich was ok. There was very little steak on the sandwich, but the quality was good. The red onions were BO'ie. I think they had been sitting too long. They forgot the smoked cheddar cheese. The horseradish sauce is very strong, so you might want to get that on the side if you order it. The asiago cheese demi it was on was really good. What took off the stars on this review? When an employee walked past the owner then turned around and shouted, "if you touch my ass again I'm going to sue you"! Then the owner shouted "You're fired"! I do not expect this outlet to stay in business much longer. I arrived at 8 am to get some bagels for carry out. There was not a single car in the parking lot except for one parked beside the building which was probably an employee's car. There was a polite employee inside who took my order for bagels and coffee. The bagels were not good, though. The plain bagel was not fully cooked -- very doughy inside. The all grains bagel was not fresh. I think it was at least a one day carryover. The dark roast coffee made me wonder what they were serving as regular. If the coffee in my cup was dark, it was also weak. They placed the store in one of the most depressingly ugly sites in our beautiful little town. Placed roughly between our slowly dying mall and the thriving Wal-Mart on a thorougfare lined by acres of concrete parking lots (Tree City U.S.A.?) it offers none of the charm that I found at the Panera restaurants in other parts of the country. This store and the quality it offers would not last a week in Boulder or Princeton. This was our second time to go there. One evening we stopped by for dinner. The salad on the tuna sandwich was barely seasoned. Lettuce and tomatoes fell out the sides -- not terrible but nothing to get excited about either. The clerk, when she took our drink order claimed (in response to an order for Diet Coke) that "cokes" were available around the corner at the drink station. Turns out their "cokes" were all "pepsis". This may put them out of business before the poor location and product does. She also directed us to a condiments cabinet for forks and napkins. It was empty. The station was not in use. "Oh" she forgot. She then directed us around the bend to the carryout station. My wife is going over to return the remaining bagels. I will not bother you with any more if that goes well. read more

First time making a yelp review because i never cared to but this was the worst customer service, very slow, food isn't even good nor fresh, the lady that took my order pretty sure it was the manger that took my order was very rude and passive aggressive and my food took forever to come out and when it did they immediately closed the window and i didn't get the chance to tell them they forgot the drinks so then i had to wait 10 minutes for them to open the window again so i can tell them, meanwhile it's now 6:30 and i see the manger going to put a cone in the drive thru even tho they don't close till 8pm and when I got home i realized they forgot the bread that comes with the soup and when I called they didn't answer and i called 10 times and still no answer, not to mention the food is way to expensive for the poor quality service and food and low pay that they give their employee, mcdonalds pay their employees more. I'm never one to complain, i've had bad customers service before and i'm very understanding that maybe there having a bad day but all of the things that went wrong is just no excuse, wouldn't recommend at all like seriously the food i could make at home or get out of a can read more

Ate there yesterday. Horrible!! Just horrible. The bell pepper in my salad was mushy. Lettuce was wilted. Like it was either old or kept at wrong temp. So I Love Panera Bread. I go all the time and i never had any problems with them until lately. The last 3 times IN A ROW, they have disregarded my request to remove the feta cheese from either the Mediterranean sandwich or the Greek quinoa salad. The first two times I called and drove back up there and they were quick to fix it. But this last time I had it delivered to my apartment and I just don't feel like calling AGAIN and possibly pissing off who ever is making and re delivering my sandwich. So I picked off the feta as best I could. But damn. It's not that hard to read a ticket and double check the bag. Please Panera management, fix the problem so I don't have to feel bad about calling over 3 times because someone in your kitchen is obsessed with putting feta cheese on everything or just can't read!!! read more

My daughter, husband, and 2 small children were eating here Sunday 5/5/19. The ceiling tiles collapsed (due to being flooded) all around but not on them, And thank God! I was so excited when I saw they were opening a location in Lake Jackson. I tried this chain in Portland, Oregon and feel in love with it. Unfortunately this location is very disappointing. Went through the drive through and ordered the turkey sandwich for both my husband and me. First of all, I about choked when they told me the price because it didn't match the menu. Got the sandwiches home and they were cold, had no seasoning and kept falling apart. Since I have ordered the same at other locations it has to be just this location. They are definitely known for their breads. I got a chicken Caesar salad, the chicken has no flavor, is cold and gross all around. They did not give me enough dressing for the salad, and the salad is just plain sad. I also got a strawberry banana smoothie, the smoothie had too much yogurt and banana, it was all I tasted. Before I rate places I want to try it more than once. I've eaten at this Panera at least a dozen times since it opened and the food and service has always been consistently good. If you go inside the person taking your order has always been a hit or miss, however I've learned over my 29 years in LJ not to expect the best service from high schoolers or those straight out of high school. It is beyond frustrating when employees "check" the order just sign off on it instead of actually looking inside the bag. The managers should teach the employees to do a thorough check before signing off on all the orders. It is such an inconvenience to drive back and get my missing items. First of all I ordered a bagel and a sweet tea and it took them 15 minutes... She asks me my order twice and then repeats it back wrong and leaves out the sweet tea. She hands me the tea and it's not sweet. Then she randomly hands me the cream cheese separately and says they are waiting on my bagel which I asked be lightly toasted. It's pretty burnt and when I pull the napkins out they gave me DIRTY napkins like looked like they spilled coffee all over them and put them in there with my bagel..... Like are you kidding?
