Our server was great and the food was awesome We even tried the oysters for the first time and she was awesome to our four legged friend.

Food was garbage, took forever (at least an hour, despite only having two other tables seated) and over cooked. The staff were lounging around while our waitress was the only one in the establishment working. If I could give it less than one star I would. Not only was the staff lounging around but they were all arguing with each other in the middle of the restaurant. Our waitress was the only saving grace. Sorry I do not remember her name but she was the best way to describe her is the the girl with all of he tattoos. For whatever reason Google wouldn't let me post a review of this place.

Crawfish 5 lbs

Smokers inside Waitress cannot understand anything. Crab looks great. Really trashy place. Good crawfish and crab.

A nice sunset

We were waiting for roughly around an hour to get our food other than that it was mid. Mfs out here looking for chickens in the water for wings apparently.

Every time we go to Surfside, we drive by this place so saved their Facebook page for future visits. It's like an icehouse on a pier. Went in on Wednesday because of their advertised steak night and margarita specials. Walked in, not busy, did not see a hostess stand. Plenty of waitresses walking around and not one said hello. Stopped one and asked if we could sit anywhere. We sat ourselves outside. After a little wait, a young lady brought us a menu and finally our waitress came by to take our order. I ordered a blueberry margarita with salt. It came with no salt. Went to bar and got some salt from very nice, curly haired bartender. We ordered our steak dinners, learned that it came ribeyes, baked potatoes, broccoli, side salad and peach or blackberry cobblers for $19.99, also opted for the Surf & Turf, 6 shrimp for $6. We also decided on one peach and one blackberry cobbler. Asked for our salads ahead of meal and had to ask again. The food came and looked great. Were told at that time that there were out of peach cobbler. Cut into steak, I had ordered a medium cooked steak and it was more of a medium well. One of the 6 shrimp was not right, a little too mushy, had to spit it out and the broccoli seemed a little cold. Also had the watermelon margarita. Both margaritas were good, could had used a little more tequila but were still good. Our waitress was very sweet, brought our ticket out before we asked for it but after we had asked for to go boxes, so maybe she thought we were ready to go. Had to ask for our cobblers at that time. Waitress brought them to go. Lol Might give it another try since overall food was good and rest of the items on described on menu sound delicious. Service and friendliness needs improvement.

Restaurant would not honor their ad on Feb 19, 2023. PSA FYI OMG

Our greeting when we came in was not the most friendly, woman behind the bar didn't even smile and mumbled something that I assume was our greeting. Our server, though nice, seemed very new and inexperienced. But she seemed to be nervously trying to do a good jobl My drink order never was what I ordered. I think there was confusion with the server and woman behind the bar. Our server didn't seem old enough to serve it to me, it was broght over by bar tender. It was pricey for not ever really getting what I requested. The day we were there, they had one of the garage doors open and the front door as well. It was so cold in there, we almost left to go elsewhere as I suspected the food would be cold before it got to the table to be eaten. After our 2nd request, they finally closed the one garage door,, but was still a bit chilly. Then they told us they just put the heater on. (the heater helped but have entry door open to bring food in from food trailer) We didn't realize the food was made in an outside trailer and walked inside. I got the crawfish tail ? Ettofee baked potato ? Ettofee sp?. Although The potato was well baked, and the sauce was Very good, there was only 4 or 5 very small crawfish tails on it. I ended up taking it home with me as it just wouldn't stay warm enough for me to eat more of it. I wish they would of had some type of thermal box, or cover to bring the food in from the outside trailer to the table... My husband had a mushroom swiss burger which was good, and some really delicious flat shaped fries, but again, keeping our food warm enough to eat it was not the best situation. There were some really good looking things on the menu, but it was just too cold in there that day. During nice weather, I'm sure our experience would have been much better, as it seems like a really nice place with a very nice patio with great view.

Their patio and views were amazing and so relaxing. The cutest restaurant indoor/outdoor. We also had our dog which they accommodated with some water. She also made friends with the sweet manager Erin (i think! Hopefully we got it right). Food was good and vibes were better. Will definitely be stopping by next time we are going to or coming from Galveston.

The first level of the establishment is right on the water. It is very very casual. One guy showed up in swim trunks, a cowboy hat, no shirt, and no shoes. The area is open, so there is no AC in that part of the bar. They have large fans to cool the area, but I was still hot. They have large round picnic tables, high bistro type tables, and a bar seating area. The bistro tables have very uncomfortable chairs. They are those small metal stackable chairs. Some have backs and others have no backs. Even the tiniest butts would not find those seats comfortable. I stood for the majority of the time. Dollar bills are stapled to the wall and ceiling from previous customers each with a saying, a name, and/or the date. They have one unisex restroom downstairs. There was a line each time I needed to go. The crowd seemed to be locals and people who work there and recently got off their shift. I think that is pretty common in these type beach bars. The energy was happy and everyone was nice. They play great music. During our stay, I heard Elvis (twice!), ABBA, Willie Nelson, other 70's artists, and some country. They also have live music. We left before the set started because we had to get home to Houston. The service was good. Our waitress was very attentive. We had the ceviche and shrimp Jammers to split. The Jammers are fried with gooey goodness inside. 5 Jammers to an order. They are really good, so I highly recommend those. The ceviche was refreshing. It came with tortilla chips and a large slice of avocado. They have very good drinks, plus whatever you might like bottled. The two of us each had two drinks. Our drinks and food totaled to $56.00 before tip. Good place to visit. Can't do anything about the heat, but it would be nice if they changed their seating.

They also have…read morecrawfish and seafood boil buckets, but I wanted my fried fish and shrimp--and it was some of the best I've had. The interior is neater and cleaner than you might expect from the outside, which is a good sign. There are two sections, one near the bar and a bigger restaurant section. Flatscreen TVs play silent sports events, while a high tech jukebox thing was playing "today's country," which seems to be heavy on songs about women who break poor Cowboy's hearts. I like places like this where the servers don't get all silly, introducing themselves and announcing that they are going to Take Care of you. At La Sirenita, they just do. My fried fish and shrimp platter was wonderful. The portion sizes were generous, especially for the price, and everything was hot and tasted absolutely fresh. The batter on the fish and the shrimp was perfect. It wasn't heavy-handed, but it had a nice little bite to it. The fries were also very good, as was the coleslaw. I am not a big fan of hush puppies. They generally strike me as some kind of afterthought that nobody paid any attention to, and I often leave them on my plate. But these were unusually good, crispy on the outside and moist and buttery on the inside. I ate both of mine. In fact, I ate everything. It was all wonderful. Down on the coast, in fact, almost anywhere, a big, super fresh combination seafood platter like this is hard to find at a price like this. Even with a small surcharge if you pay with credit card rather than cash, it's still a great deal and highly recommended.
