If you are burger hunter that is looking for that perfect diner burger we used always get back in the 70's. Hand cut veggies, toasted bun and fresh meat all cooked on a well seasoned grill. If you're from Louisiana and are looking for authentic food, steer clear of this place. Nearly everything on the menu is fried and the grease needs changing. You can tell they're not really from Louisiana by the seasoning. Bland bland bland. Standard fish fry seasoning and nothing more. The hours are inconsistent and the place isn't very clean. Service is standard Freeport, which is to say awful. Food takes a long time to make and the owner, when she's there, is very defensive if you complain. If she's not there, good luck because there's no one in charge and no one who can resolve anything. The staff are clueless.

The food was extremely disappointing. I'm only two minutes from the water, yet the seafood I…read morereceived was cold on the inside. The boudin balls looked like they barely touched the fryer before being served. Even the drinks were made with what appeared to be ice from Buc-ee's, which really raised some concerns about proper food-service handling. As I'm writing this, my stomach is already hurting. I really wanted to give this place a fair chance, but unfortunately I can't recommend it based on my experience. I wish I had read the reviews before coming.
