I've tried this place and twice the cheese in my grilled cheese wasn't melted. The first time it happened I also overhead a man complaining about his food as well. They remade my food but the cook was rude. I said thank you and he ignored my comment as if it was my fault he couldn't make a grilled cheese. read more

I love Panera but this location is not up to par. Usually Panera is expensive but so delicious and you can order healthy options. I have had my drive-thru order messed up at least 60% of the time. I'd advise anyone not to drive away until you've checked the entire order. I love their sourdough bread, yummy salads, and their smoothies. Excellent muffins and baked goods. I didn't care for the oatmeal. Inside, there is limited seating and the wifi is AWFUL. If they could fix the wifi issue and get their drive-thru service managed better, this would easily go up a star. read more

Super slow service. You can see all these extra "workers" walking around not doing much. While no one bothered to look at the screen to get me my frozen mocha. read more

Like any other panera bread. Nice that it's right off Northpark Dr. Came in for a bowl of soup (fighting off the sniffles). The bf got an asiago steak sandwich with tea and chips and I got a bowl of soup with water. They offered me a free pastry (took an orange scone. Yum). Bf thought steak sandwich was just ok, I liked the wild chicken and rice soup. Bf's steak sandwich was on the rare side and cold- he was expecting a more grilled, cheesy sandwich. We got everything for $17, which seems a bit pricey for portion sizing, but this is how all Paneras are. We'll probably be back if there's nothing else we want in the area. Carl's Jr. Is right next door though! read more

So I am giving this place one star because I can't give 0 stars. I have been many times to the one in Atascocita (which is way better). I got a $13 salad and I found a hair in it that was blonde and I am not blonde. So I called and the manager asked me to come back and they'll replace it. I then got another salad and guess what? ANOTHER HAIR. This hair was a short piece of hair probably from a beard (I'm hoping). I really just wanted a refund at that point but the manager insisted on making me another one himself. I did not see him making my salad. The third time there was no hair but it's ridiculous I had to go THREE times to get a salad without hair in it. They don't wear hairnets which is why it fell out of the hat or pony tail. read more

I normally love Panera Bread, but this location at the drive-thru was terrible! The lady that took my money forgot to send the order out for them to make it. It caused a nearly 15 minute wait for three other people behind me in line. When I finally got my order, it wasn't even complete. I had to go back in the restaurant to request for my extra bag of chips and French baguette. When I finally got to eat my sandwich, it was so quickly our together that it looked like someone's leftovers. If you're gonna eat at Panera, you definitely should do dine-in instead of drive thru. read more

Tiny portions. Little value. This is the second and final time I will ever visit this Panera location. Each time I've been astonished at the tiny portions for the money. I've been to Paneras all over the country and this is the only one that has caused me to feel that I was robbed. My spinach salad contained less than 2 cups of spinach, 1 hard boiled egg, maybe the equivalent of a slice of bacon. Sooooo disappointed. read more

The soup I ordered, chicken with wild rice, was very thick and lukewarm. When I went up to the counter with soup in hand and asked the 4 people standing there talking for a manager, he was one of them. Three of them including him stared at me while I explained about the soup and never said a word. One of the guys working behind the counter asked me what I would like instead of the soup so I had the veggie. Only one employee reacted appropriately. I always have the wild rice soup because I love it. So, I paid for a meal that I really didn't enjoy. Really tired of these places hiring kids and not properly training them. It is the consumer who suffers. read more

The food taste good, just wish they could get an order correct. We have gotten To-Go 3 times, and every time our order was wrong. Twice the entire order was incorrect. Once we ordered two egg type sandwiches for breakfast, and neither had any egg on them. Really! So we just quit going. read more

We'll, with a heavy heart, here it goes. First off, I luv Panera and was ecstatic to see a new one pop up only a few miles for me AND it has a drive thru. Being a busy mom of 3+ it's such a plus. I also have the Panera rewards card! Any-who....today I order the blue cheese and steak salad with bread, a lemon aid and a double fudge brownie (it's a must!). My salad was everything I had hoped for....but it was steakLESS. No steak at all. There were no napkins or a fork in the bag. A few things expected to be in a drive thru order. read more

I love Panera Bread, good healthy meals and delicious pastries to eat after your healthy meal.

I've visited many Paneras in many cities, and this one is the worst. So bad that I haven't been back in almost a year. The serving sizes are so small that it's shocking. My daughter's spinach salad contained so little spinach and other ingredients that I thought it had to be a mistake. She's ordered that salad at other Paneras, so we know what to expect. I felt that we were ripped off, and that is a real disappointment. Paneras was always one of our go-to restaurants. It's just this particular location that serves tiny portions. read more

I usually enjoy Panera bread but this location is the worst! They messed my order up 3 out of 5 times. I Finally called them the 3rd time around. Im not sure where the miscommunication is cashier or Cool but it's unacceptable. read more

Once again....went thru the drive thru for dinner tonight - Thai Chicken Salad ( no chicken at all) and a cup of onion soup - baguette ...stale! I have been through this place 4 times and each time there was a mistake or an omission - I'm so frustrated! We couldn't wait till they opened and now it's just a shame my favorite place to eat is so bad! read more

Food is always good! I am impressed with the young staff. They are always nice and very customer friendly. Wished others would follow their lead. Taylor was especially helpful today. Very respectful young lady, I was impressed with her customer service! Reflects well on management, I will always continue to visit this Panera!! read more

I love Panera, but not this one! They always fail to include something in my order. The panini sandwiches aren't cooked long enough... They're always cold in the middle. read more

This restaurant is probably the most nicest cleanest restaurant in Kingwood area. Huge selection of pastry, sandwiches, coffee, and not to mention all of their exotic teas. Panera Bread has redefined the definition of fast food. Great place for lounging. Friendly staff! I highly recommend this place! read more

I love Panera. But the location gets our order wrong literally every single time. But they fix it.... Sometimes. This time pushed me over the edge. I'm already having an awful day, and decided Panera would help a bit. I ordered broccoli cheese soup to go. Not a hard order. They gave me potato soup, which I can't eat because I'm horribly allergic to some of the ingredients in it. I just spent $10 not to eat. Thanks a lot. Not only is that wasted money, but now there's a bowl of potato soup going to waste. read more

A Panara with a drive thru! Seriously! Or fire pit on the patio!? I love salads, sandwiches, Mac and cheese. I also enjoy popping in for a fresh loaf of bread! No more grocery store bread for me! Family pleasing something for everyone! read more

Great service for Sunday lunch. Busy here, but food was served quick. Excellent salads. Friendly staff. Chicken Cobb with avocado was very good, just the right amount of dressing. read more

Worst chain of restaurants. Service is lousy, over priced and you never get all items. Customer service is the worse and incompetent. I am done with Panera! read more

I am a frequent flyer at Panera. This was my first time at this location. I like the set up much better than my usual one in Pasadena. The pastry menu and meal menu are posted by the only register area, rather than being required to order in the pastry area with no meal menu in sight, as at my Panera. The person who took my order was rushing me though. She forgot to ask for my Panera card, so she wanted me to go online to register for my points. I asked that she run it through, which she did even though she seemed bothered by the request. She then called the next person to order before I had time to gather my belongings, cup, and order number. Then when my order came out, I was told they were out of my side order item. The guy who delivered the food was very polite and patient as I explained that would change my main dish. I came in for their amazing broccoli cheese soup, which I eat by dipping the baguette into. Hard to do without the baguette. He brought me a menu and an apology from the manager, but while I was waiting for my alternative sandwich to arrive (Turkey Cranberry Flatbread - delicious!), I saw the guy brig out three other orders incorrectly, from the side item forgotten to the dressing being on the salad instead of one the side. I don't know who dropped the ball, but when I pay the kind of prices Panera charges, I expect a certain level of accuracy with my order. Other things I like: free wifi, ambiance, pastry counter, and this location brought out the orders instead of having people wait at the counter like the Conroe location. I still don't like how all Panera locations only offer Pepsi products, but at least this one has a caffeine free diet Pepsi option for my late afternoon meal. read more

Delicious food fast service nice and clean on the inside great atmosphere. I like going to Panera Bread and this location is no different. Come and eat here. Yum read more

This location has the worst service ever. Do NOT trust their drive thru as they can NEVER get an order right. They don't answer their phone either so don't try to call and complain. Servers are rude, too. I do not recommend this restaurant at all read more

Wish there was a comfortable place to go (ie booths) to hang out. This Panera is in dire need of some good management! Went at 7:00 and they were out of a couple chicken soups, sprouted grain rolls and butter! They usually are out of something or don't have coffee that's fresh! We have emailed corporate and never heard back from them. Also the bathrooms are in need of cleaning big time. Think this Panera is privately owned. It couldn't be clearer that the owner simply doesn't care about his customers! read more

Worst Panera bread I've been to. First off the credit card machines were down so it was cash only (fine, not a big deal). Ordered a steak and egg bagel which tasted horrid, I think I could taste the microwave to be honest. Ordered my favorite chocolate chip bagel and they were out of strawberry cream cheese, bloody hell! So I settled with regular cream cheese and when I got the bagel it tasted old and was barely toasted. Very disappointing. read more

Love Panera bread as a whole, but this location was kind of a bust. My major complain is the lack of seating at this location. You end up standing around with food in your arms looking for an open table. Might as well sit in the car and eat. read more

Love most Panera restaurants but this one is a big fail. They repeatedly provided us the wrong order (ordered panini and were given sandwich) and the sandwich has mushy and torn bread. Also problems with the cashier. They need to be retrained on how to make a sandwich. It shouldn't be this complicated. read more

They messed up my to go order. I was told that order would be ready in 10 minutes. Got there and the order wasn't even looked at. We were over charged by at least $8.00. Service was sub standard. People need to be retrained in service. Very disappointing read more

I came in and ordered my sandwich and a pastry. No drink. Paid $12. Which is pricy if you ask me. I got it to go. When I was finally able to eat I open it up and the order is wrong. Check your order before you leave!! read more

I am a lover of Panera bread but I was so disappointed with my food today. I ordered a Mediterranean veggie sandwich which comes on bread regular bread but I asked for flatbread today. Usually the sandwich is filled with veggies and you can actually see the hummus. When they gave me my sandwich it was truly flat. There was a couple leaves of lettuce a sad looking tomato and about 4 thinly sliced cucumber. Needless to say I gave it back to them and asked what it was and the worker laughed and said "I guess it's your Mediterranean sandwich." The fact that she laughed didn't make it any better so I asked for a refund. Then she asked if I wanted a pastry or another sandwich. If I wanted a pastry I would have ordered a pastry and why would I want you to make me another sandwich when the one I ordered was so terrible. Not all Panera Bread locations are the same. This is the first time I sent something back and my first time at this location. I'm not planning to be a regular at this location. read more

Not impressed Panera! We stopped here to get what I thought would be a decent meal. It was close to home & in hurricane Harvey thought it was cool that this place was open. I ordered 2 soups & 2 sandwiches with of course 2 drinks that I didn't get. It all went bad when they didn't have broccoli cheese soup & I agreed to switch to corn chowder that tasted like peppers more than anything. Not impressed. Went on to sandwiches. My wife had what sounded like a good sandwich only to find that hers had very little chicken one side had avocado & the other didn't have any & the amount of sandwich wasn't even funny. My sandwich had 1 piece or turkey, bacon & 6 sliced tomatoes. I was eating because I was hungry & felt like I'd get a good meal. This was a complete disaster of an experience & I called the store to complain about the drinks at 1st. I felt I needed to warn others of my experience during these stressed days after a hurricane but expected so much more from a place that has such a grand name as Panera. I've eaten at better taco stands than this Panera. Maybe it's because they wanted to help the community by being open. In this case the missed all the way around. Still hungry. read more

Food was great! I'm talking almost perfect. Green Tea was delicious. My husband and I received our food in a timely manner. We waited a bit for our daughters food to arrive... macaroni and cheese! Simple right?! easy to make or "heat" you would think. It came to the table cold. I asked the server who dropped off the food if we could get it corrected. I see two servers and the cook from my seat and I see the cook stick his finger in the macaroni and cheese. Really? Don't you think I would have check my own daughters food before I sent it back? I approached them and verified what I had saw. "did he just stick his finger in my daughters food!?" One server replied "Well he had gloves on". The other server looked at me with disgust to which I replied "hey! That's MY daughters food!!" I returned to my seat. A few minutes later I see the piping hot macaroni at the pick up area.. the server goes to picks it up and I see him retrieve the what must have been extremely hot spoon from the bowl that had once been in my daughters mouth. The server brings it to my table. "NOPE, I want to speak to your manager". The manager made it right by refunding us the amount for the cost of macaroni and cheese. I seriously hope this "high school kid" gets a lesson or two tonight about proper food handling. read more

Like some of the other reviews say, this location constantly messes up our order. We had been going there a couple times a week because we like Panera, its close to our house and would be convenient but we don't know how much longer we'll waste our time when we are given the wrong order or missing things from our order over half the time. read more

Panera is so over rated. The food is stuff you can make at home and not to mention the service here is terrible. portions are so small for the bill. read more

Haven't been back here in almost a year. Drive-thru service was awful. Sandwiches thrown together and stuffed in the bag. Son's PB and J had a dollop of PB and a dollop of jelly smack in the middle of the sandwich - they did not even bother to spread it. Come on, y'all. This happened more than once. Other items were not consistent. Need to train, train, train and quality control. read more

I love Panera, eat there frequently. Eating at this location won't be happening anytime soon. The food isn't bad, just not as good as other locations and the workers are very nice. My problem....management. I've asked two questions to two different managers and was met with rudeness. Hoping they up the customer service soon. read more

I'm a HUGE Panera fan! I was SO excited when one opened in Kingwood and I knew I'd be there a lot. Sadly, I've yet to have a good experience. I'm always left with something missing or just plain wrong in my order. Also, the staff is usually clueless when I try to order off of the hidden menu. The staff also seems to have pretty bad attitudes. They always sound like they'd rather be doing something else, or dead. I get it, it probably isn't too exciting but I always feel guilty for even asking to order anything. They're pretty negative. I understand it is a new location so hopefully it'll improve. It's not cheap so I haven't been choosing to go back in fear it hasn't gotten better. PLEASE GET BETTER !! read more

They were out of two items we wanted today, their signature hot chocolate w all the trimmings and chocolate chip muffies. They have been open less than an hour so it's not as if we waited till the end of the day when they would run out (because that's the excuse we got last time) but it's frustrating to pay 3.19 plus tax for a hot chocolate as a treat for my kiddo and you are out of chocolate chip marshmallows. Of course no one ever told us they were out of the signature marshmallows, what make the hot chocolate it's self so expensive. We open it to snag a few marshmallows and there's just some Carmel on top. Ask the woman at the window and apparently they were out- should have been told this and we could have gotten the original hot chocolate for less or gone to McDonald's and gotten a "fancy" on for $2. But instead they assumed we wouldn't check or wouldn't care. Never is my order 100% right or available and I literally spend .12 more every time at this location than when I get the same order at the Panera near my job. Prolly won't visit again and that's a shame my daughter loves the muffies. read more
