Look a good volume and taste ok and gave me free drink bcz my Panera reward.... I tried ice berry green tea but unsweetened. I need a little sweet but there are only sugars....not really good. I love Panera Bread. But hear me out, there's opportunity in this here location. Firstly, this is a good Panera. It has wifi, cozy chairs, good food (Panera having recently increased their prices notwithstanding) and most of the good things Panera is known for. Secondly, let's pause and reflect upon the opportinities. I order through the app and I found some items not being available, regular stuff like feta cheese, rolls, etc. how weird is that? See? Opportunity. Then, I was there like 1 hour, and in that time I noticed 2 people cleaning the tables, like, twice. Same table. They just cleaned and cleaned and re-cleaned. But this Panera does not offer "from your table" ordering. Why not have those people who over-clean instead serve the food to customers. You won't increase your payroll but you will increase customer satisfaction. Win-win. See? Another opportunity. A bonus opportunity. It was 53 out and drizzling. The kind of weather that makes you want to come into a Panera to warm up to a hot coffee or chocolate with a pastry. But it was absolutely freezing inside. Yummy lunch at Panera, the salad was really good with the apple chips and sauce flavor. The only thing I don't like was how they added onions, but that's okay. As for the sandwich the bread was really good and the chicken was nice and tender and not dry at all. For the heated sandwich it was nice and toasty but the sauce didn't go well with the meat. The manager Amanda is very rude and did nothing to help me when I had placed a mobile order, gotten an email confirmation that it was ready and went to pick it up. Only to find that my order was not in fact ready but instead I had to wait 23 minutes while they made it (17 minutes past my pick up time), really why bother with having "rapid" pick up at all? The store was not busy (2 other customers in line, a few guests in the dining room). When I asked the manager why I got the "food is ready" email she just said the system automatically sends it. But the order has to be passed through their system to be bumped off to trigger that email, she just didn't want the ticket time to be that high. Overall I found her curtness and unwillingness to actually help customers much more problematic than the wait time, and I'm extremely disgusted with the visit. read more

As far as Panera's go, this one's fantastic. Great for working from. WiFi, outlets, comfortable seating and lots of other people with laptops and stuff. This one in particular seems like a community staple, as there are many regulars that the staff recognize and greet. The management is kind and friendly, and honestly the main reason I keep coming back. The food is great, slightly overpriced but the unlimited sip club is worth it if you go at least three times a month. read more

How have I NOT written a review for the Kent Station Panera yet?! Welp, here goes... I went to Panera yesterday with my best friends for a quick lunch. Wasn't on the hunt for anything too heavy, because I was already waaAAyyYY full from eating too much leftovers at home..... This Panera looks like any other. Cozy atmosphere, lots of warm, neutral tones and a fireplace or two. Nothing out of the ordinary. For the most part it was very clean, but we managed to find the one table that hadn't been wiped down yet. The cashier that we ordered from was full of attitude. Truth is, I don't even think he noticed. That literally might just be the way that he is. He wasn't even rude, he just was very... I can't even explain it. Very, "Ugh, I could totally be out with my friends right now but instead I'm here," kind of thing. Is that too specific? I don't know. I digress. I ordered a cup of the Broccoli Cheese soup and an iced chai. Their broccoli cheese soup is *BOMB.* Honestly, when I'm on my death bed, swap out whatever meds/liquids they have going into me via IV with this soup instead. Thank you. And please, try their iced chai if you want to have your mind blown. Although, they did forget about my chai and it took me about ten minutes before saying something because I have this weird anxiety with reminding people about something they forgot about. I'll start this off by saying I absolutely love Panera bread, but I'll probably NEVER go back to this location. I was actually kinda of shocked how they ran their business. Came in around 8pm, and cashiers were looking at their phone the whole time felt like we were interrupting something. Waited awhile for our food, which was sitting up on the shelf for however long.. we had to ask a worker if we could just take it ourselves. My grilled cheese was hard & cold.. my soup was cold as well, but I didn't say anything because at this point I could tell that there was absolutely no care factor from the employees. Another customer ( who was not with me) went up to the front to complain that her soup was cold, and an employee just shrugged and said "there's a microwave over there" when it was just dropped off. I frequent this place for breakfast since it's on the way to work. During all the times I have come by this place, I have never had bad service. The staff is always friendly and courteous! The atmosphere is very relaxing during the early mornings. There's also a nice fireplace inside but I prefer to sit near the window and aimlessly look outside as I'm having my coffee and/or breakfast. The online app is excellent and I take full advantage of it during times when I'm in a hurry. I will place my order and pay for it ahead of time. My order is always ready in 10 minutes. The staff usually greets me as soon as I walk in the door and wish me a good day as I quickly leave from picking up my order. I usually get one of their bagel breakfast sandwiches or the steel cut oatmeal topped with cinnamon, strawberries, and pecans. Delicious!! I rate this place 4 stars because I'm not a big fan of their lunches or dinners. I did take advantage of the free 'pick any two' that I had on my rewards card. The squash soup was delicious. However, the roasted Turkey, Apple, and white cheddar sandwich was ok. Nothing to rave over. I'm not a big fan of cold sandwiches so I could be biased. I will definitely be back here again. I said I wouldn't come back.. But my time working close to this location was extended and there aren't many more good choices around so I decided to give Panera another try (two to be exact). The cashiers have been very friendly, as has the rest of the staff. Even when it was really busy today and the line was long, it went by fast and my food was a lot quicker to come out than the last time! This Panera has potential to be so much better! It's conveniently located in Kent Station and happens to be one of the few locations where it's not overly crowded and you can find a table near a wall plug. I like how the wall divides add a nice amount of privacy for people wanting to study, meet up for lunch, or hold business meetings. I often visit this Panera when I need to study but it's always dirty (crumbs in the crevices of booths, soda on the walls, dusty fixtures, and dirty tables). This is a kid friendly establishment, so at first I thought it was due to customer messiness...until I started making early morning visits. It seems as if it's left like this overnight and during business hours isn't cleaned or kept clean. If the management maintained the overall cleanliness, I think it would make it easier to overlook the worn upholstery and gouged wall paint. I don't blame the staff beause they always seem busy serving customers and having to multitask (the same person taking orders and making the drinks...understaffed?). This is the only Panera that I've visited in the NW so it could just be bad managent however I look forward to future improvements so that I can change my star rating! read more

Came here today and ordered a Modern Greek Quinoa half salad (no cheese) and a cup of black bean soup. Came with a french baguette which was pretty stale. The salad was so disappointing. On the site/menu it looks like it's filled with lots of vegetables and quinoa. I got about 4 black olives and the cucumber wasn't even visible or tastable. The dressing was good, the quinoa was extremely sparse which is odd for a quinoa salad. Nonetheless, it's okay. Decent low cal option for me (vegan) on my lunch break. My limited experience with other Panera Bread locations led to trepidation when I discovered no other business delivers breakfast in a 25 mile radius to where we were having our business meeting and I had to use this Panera location. However, there were no issues, and the food was fine. I ordered breakfast for our business meeting to be delivered to an offsite. It was delivered on time, and the order was correct. The coffee was hot, and the OJ cold. The pastries were good, and the hot breakfast sandwiches were lukewarm and lacked flavor. The bagels tasted like they were from the day before at a grocery store, not freshly made nor chewy and tasty like a bagel should be. The catering menu is limited. I'm use to a much larger selection for catering. Kent is not Seattle, obviously, and finding any business that would deliver breakfast was a struggle itself. I came here because the Renton location was out of blueberry bagels at 9:30 in the morning on a Saturday. They only had two French toast bagels left there, too. I ordered the blueberry ones without looking, and when the cashier turned around and saw that there wasn't even a basket for them, she said, "I guess we're out of blueberry bagels for today." Not the case at the Kent location! They had tons of every flavor bagel in stock. French onion soup - 2 orders - delivered without parmesan. Looked for comment section online to review my order and give feedback to the manager, and there is no area to give feedback to the manager. I called and was told they were out of parmesan. I said I wouldn't have ordered it if I had known this ahead or time. I'm looking on the online menu now and the French onion soup is still available, and also Caesar salads (which need parmesan). Not the first time I have been disappointed with my food. However, it always seems fresh and when I've been in the restaurant, it has been clean. I suggest they have better oversight of the food prep and update the online menu in real time so that someone doesn't order something that doesn't have all of the ingredients. These guys deserve their lackluster reviews. My husband and I stopped in to get breakfast and chose to use one of their kiosks to order instead of going to the counter. Paid and took our table buzzer to find a seat. We were seated for 15min and couldn't believe that our food hadn't arrived. When my husband went to the counter he was met by a snotty employee who said they didn't have our order though we could clearly see it on their order board. No "I'm sorry" or "oh boy let's fix that" just I don't have an order and she walked away without saying she'd check either. Placed in my list of reliable places to study. Spacious, many sources of outlet, and perfect table sizes for individuals to sit without feeling like they're hogging seat. Lots of people come and go in this location, yet staff does a great job sustaining cleanliness. Service and food quality great as well. It was another Saturday of movies and lunch with my lady friends at Kent Station. Movie was cute and lunch was here. It was noon on a Sunday and the place was slammed, we moved along the line and finally placed our orders. I went with the You Pick Two and had half the Sierra Turkey and a cup of their French onion soup along with a glass of their pomegranate red tea. No sooner had we found a table to wait at than my buzzer buzzed to let me know my order was ready. Food was hot and served fast. My sandwich was fresh and tasty and the soup was hot and good. All the ladies enjoyed their food, and bread we had no issues and were not given the stink eye when we sat for awhile chatting long after we finished eating our lunches. We ordered $40 worth of food and it was all awful. Sandwiches were NOT made to standard. I ordered a bacon turkey bravo and they forgot the Gouda cheese. My mom ordered the steak and white cheddar and it was burnt to hell and didn't have the red onions on it. So they remade it and it was just as bad, just not burnt. Customer service was non existent. We asked for sides of mayo and chipotle mayo and they forgot them as well. I'm usually not one to bitch but the manager didn't attempt to make the moment right. I work in the food/customer service industry and this was less than a great experience. Bad food, bad service. Will not be returning. Don't go here if you want something good. read more

I love Panera Bread, but this location isn't one of the best. It's fine overall, but they don't seem to make the food with the same precision as other locations I have been to. On one visit, my tuna salad sandwich was way too moist and every bite I took, tons of tuna was oozing out the other end. On another, I thought my to-go french onion soup was cheese-less - until I found all the cheese in the very bottom of the bowl. The employees here are all very friendly and the food is made quickly. There is always enough parking, but the part of the parking lot where the restaurant is located is a bit awkward to get in and out of - especially when it is busy! I have been to this Panera three or four times in the course of serving jury duty at the Kent King County court house. From all the commercials and how good everything always looks I was surely disappointed. The first day I went for lunch. I ordered the half sandwich and small salad lunch combo. I had the chicken salad sandwich and greek salad. It was rather busy as it was during the weekday lunch rush but I was surprised at what I received in the short amount of time it took to have my order brought to my table. I ate my salad first and found a few pieces of wilted lettuce; aside from that it was "ok". My sandwich looked like a mess; have of the chicken salad was spilling out onto my plate. I had to reassemble it before I could eat it. It was very bland and the bread was a little soggy; the sandwich sat for less than 10 minutes and the bread was soggy? I also had a pumpkin muffin with a cream cheese filling; I would hardly call it pumpkin. The flavor was watered down and the muffin part was dry. Another time I went there in the same week I had a power smoothie and an everything bagel with the reduced fat cream cheese. The bagel and cream cheese was good and standard, what you would expect. The smoothie tasted good but took way too long to make. I was there in the morning time around 10 am; after the breakfast rush and it took nearly 10 minutes for them to bring me my smoothie. There was hardly anyone in there about about 5 people that I could see working; so 10 minutes for a smoothie seemed very incompetent. The last time I went for lunch I ordered the salmon couscous salad. This was probably the best thing I had there aside from the bagel. It seemed fresh and they gave you a huge portion of salmon for the price. The salmon was pretty good but a little on the dry side. Overall the flavor of the salad was bland which was perplexing as I liked all the ingredients in the salad. It must have been underseasoned. I will say the service was always very nice and friendly. The price is reasonable; I would even say in-line with what you get...mediocre food. I still want to try more of their baked goods; the bagel was good and the bread you could get with your meal was pretty good too. I have heard that at the end of the day they donate their left over items to the local food bank which is great. Overall I was very disappointed with most of the food. I was actually really shocked at how busy it was for how poor the food tasted in my opinion. If there wasn't a better option around and/or I really needed a Starbucks like wi-fi environment I'd go again but it would not be my first choice at all. read more
