    Cranberry Chicken Salad Sandwich
    Kimberly B.

Walked in, no one was behind the counter, so I ordered at one of their kiosk. Thought I'd try the new Cranberry Chicken salad sandwich. The food came out rather quickly. However, upon eating it.....well it falls flat. The crust on the bread is so chewy, I could barely chew through it to get to the sandwich.....If you looked at the photo you'd think it was a salad, not a sandwich!!! Way way way too much lettuce!! The Chicken Salad itself had absolutely no flavor. Tasted like chunk chicken out of a can, without anything else. There are nuts and cranberries in there but you can't taste them. Arby's Chicken Salad Sandwich is much better ‍.

I've taken the (self imposed) mandatory chill out period before posting a negative review. This particular Panera is just so terribly disappointing I feel I must warn folks. Of the last three times I've visited on two occasions items have been missing from my order when I got home and then most recently while dining in service was incredibly s-l-o-w and when I did get my breakfast sandwich it was minuscule and looked like it had been ran over. I'm done. I was super excited when this location opened so close to home. We don't eat much fast food but sometimes the day gets crazy and Panera or Chipotle are a go-to to save the day. From now on I will drive to the other location nearby though. These folks here just can't seem to get it together. I blame management, because I've voiced my concerns more than once. It would be a shame to fail, so hopefully they can turn this around. Doesn't look like I'm the only disgruntled guest. I do like to leave on a positive note so I will say I absolutely adore this piece of artwork I noticed when I was last in. Reminds me of how pretty fields look from the sky when you fly.

First visit of newly opened Panera Bread. As I walked inside it was easy to notice everything was sparkly clean and fresh. The employees greeted me warmly and my food was waiting at the pickup area. I reviewed my order to ensure all food was accounted for. To my dismay I was missing my pastry ring. The lady at the counter apologized, gathered up my luscious pastry and I was off. Once I arrived home my Greek salad and Chipotle Bacon Melt were as expected; tasty. The other three meals met the normal consistency I have come to expect from Panera. When my travels bring me back I will report out again in the future to see how the quality holds up.

This is an Asiago Cheese bagel according to Panera's website.

Once again, Panera (downtown High Point) figured out how to screw-up a basic thing, again. We ordered two Asiago cheese bagels and got something more on the cremated side... This place needs new leadership or it deserves to go out of business. Whomever is in-charge clearly doesn't care about the product they create. Sad.

Greek Salad (Whole) almost no feta or toppings...

I rarely rate restaurants this low but a place like Panera has set a standard nation wide. You know that Panera has good coffee and bagels. You know they have good salads and soups. You know they have good sandwich options and you trust that you will get what you pay for when you visit any location. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I ordered a Greek salad for lunch and opted for a curbside pickup. The parking placement for curbside is confusing and so drove past it and all around the parking lot to find it. I didn't wait very long after arriving and the gentleman who brought the food out was nice. The salad I ordered however, was not. The salad was the safest excuse of a Greek salad I have ever seen and a good portion of the lettuce had gone bad and was pretty gross. I can't say that I will go back to this location. Perhaps they are still working out the kinks of a newly opened place. BUT... there are too many options for AWESOME salads in High Point, for me to waste money on a bad salad from here. ‍

    My Roasted Turkey Avacado BLT

Decided to give this Panera (North Main) in High Point another chance after my first time there a couple of weeks ago ended with me getting the completely wrong sandwich (ordered a roasted turkey avocado BLT, but got some sort of chipotle chicken sandwich). So today, I ordered the roasted turkey avacado BLT again. I did get the correct sandwich this time, but there was not a single slice of tomato or avacado. They did provide enough lettuce on this sandwich for a salad. I can honestly say this is the worst Panera I've ever visited. It will also be my last. They weren't even busy. How difficult can it be to make a freakin sandwich? This is my result of paying $11.63 for a sandwich.

Great casual atmosphere, the staff have really come into their own, and the food is simple but has little touches that often make it a small cut above most other sports bar type places around. My favorite things to order are the smashburgers, chicken philly (almost as good as the one at Old Town, a restaurant also belonging to this same owner), and now the fish and chips. I decided to get those last night, and the fish was two good size thick cod filets, fried and breaded perfectly. The fish was flaky and tender, the remoulade it came with really elevated it, I'm glad it was not plain tartar sauce (gross). The appetizer favorite here is the pulled pork nachos for me, otherwise, we usually just get meals. If I had one small complaint, it's that the tea is usually brewed pretty weak. Steep it a little longer, and you've got me fully hooked.

We loved their homemade dressings. Service: Our server was great! Attentive, kind, and offered to let us taste test. She also was helpful in her descriptions and recommendations. However, our experience fell short upon arrival. The hostess said they don't have a table for 5 but we could add a chair to a 4 top. And when I said that's not a comfortable or reasonable set up for 5 people and asked if we could push two tables together, she seemed annoyed. Who thinks it's acceptable for a party of 5 to sit someone at the corner point of a 4 top table when there are open tables all around? Management advice: If this is truly your approach, I'd recommend you rethink that logic. This is basic hospitality.

They arrived and were coned nicely and had a great taste. (Still no silverware or napkins) we asked for napkins of course at this point because our hands are sticky. Food came. Burger was missing lettuce (easy fix) he said his steak was cooked PERFECTLY (still no silverware) I requested more mayo and more dressing (still no silverware) we realized there wasn't any silverware when he wanted to cut into the steak. So we had to request silverware. Back to the steak.... Cooked PERFECTLY..... zero seasoning. Added a little salt and requested steak sauce and the steak was demolished. My wales saw my water getting low and said she was coming with more water. I finished my water she came by and asked if we needed anything.... Water please. With a few adjustments to the obvious (having silverware at the table when seating customers, and keeping a real eye out for drinks) this place might be alright. The servers were pleasant and the place wasn't crowded at all. A total of 4 other parties were in and out during our visit.

My husband and I were in downtown Greensboro on a Saturday afternoon and decided to hit this place up for lunch. When they called the place The Bodega, they really mean it's a bodega. It's decked out like a small convenience store from the second you walk in. We ordered our food at the cash register to eat at one of their tables outside. The cashier brought our sandwiches out about 10 minutes after ordering. I ordered the Turkey Caesar. It had turkey, shaved parmesan, marinated cherry tomato, house-made Caesar dressing, onion, and romaine lettuce in an 8" sandwich roll. It was a little pricey at $15, but it was worth the splurge. The dressing and parmesan cheese were unbelievable! Since this is in downtown Greensboro, there is no dedicated parking lot but we easily found street parking nearby. The place has a few tables outside for customers to enjoy their food. If you're looking for a good sandwich, I highly recommend checking The Bodega out.

It's a little set back from the main thorughfare, but now with the food hall and other development happening nearby, I passed it a couple times and got curious about it, so finally stopped in. The building, the parking lot, everything about it is in serious need of a remodel. Curb appeal certainly limited, but I didn't feel that the inside was unclean in any way. Just very old and dated. Places like this often sneakily have some of the best food, so this didn't deter me. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you, get your own drinks, which really is about all I ever want in a sandwich shop. I had the club sandwich with fries. It came on nicely grilled bread with a decent amount of cold cuts, cheese, and bacon. They subbed in honey mustard to replace the mayo as I asked. It came with a HUGE order of fries! The fries were well done, maybe a little more cooked than most would prefer, but they were perfect for me. If I had eaten them all, I would have been very full. Flavor on everything was satisfying, nothing crazy, price was pretty good as well. Overall, I think I would come back here on occasion, for those times where you need "just a lunch" where it would serve me well.
