Poor service. My daughter and I stopped in to order breakfast for the whole family. The guy at the counter pounced on her immediately for not having her mask on. She then got one but he continued on with how I was wearing mine. After the third time of him being demanding and rude we just left. People were sitting down without a mask. People were up getting coffee without a mask. But yet he decided to turn away business over this. People need to start voting with there dollars. read more

On Tuesday 05/28, I decoded to get a coffee and a banana strawberry smoothie wich came to $7.15, I had asked for 4 sugars the women who gave me my order did give me a stir to mix in the sugar. I asked for a stir she ok, and I waited 6min I could see her in the window starring at me she did not provide me with a stir, after 6 minutes I drove off and had to go to McDonald's for a stir. My significant other and I stopped in before dropping him back at home and heading back to work. We both got sandwiches and soup. He ordered the turkey deli, and at the time they were out of tomatoes, and chicken and wild rice soup. I myself, got the steak and cheese sandwich with broccoli cheddar soup. We received our buzzer, and sat down to wait for our food to be placed at the next window. After waiting for 30 minutes, I noticed a board with a list of names of orders as they come in saying "ready" and "prepping". My name wasn't on the list anywhere, so I got up and asked one of the workers. She said that they were very behind, and began handing out cookies to those waiting. I asked how much longer it would be, and she said if my name wasn't on the list, then it was likely going to be another 45 minutes to an hour. I went to the cashier to cancel my order, as I was on my lunch break and needed to get back to work. There were zero apologies made. The manager came out to give me my refund, without looking at me, or apologizing as well. I had suggested maybe turning off the online ordering to catch up, or at the very least telling people BEFORE they order the estimated wait time. Rather than making them wait 20-30 mins, and then finding out it will be another hour. There were others behind me after hearing my discussion with that worker who had begun to cancel their orders as well. read more

So I love Panera and this review is more for customer service walk in orders. Today... I had a rapid pick up and then decided to order some unsliced bagels to go. (6) The girl helping me got them in a bag then just needed cream cheese, easy enough? So two couples came in - didn't finish my order, sat the bag down and waited on two more people before saying oh yea I still gotta get the cream cheese...? For real? Just young mindless I guess? why our quick order was put on hold to help two others after us while we wait vs finish our order so we could get on our way? Training issue? So this is just one of many examples of when I go in to order. I mainly only do rapid pick up now or drive thru, as I love the product, it's just more predictable when ordering here. Panera is a favorite of mine for lunch when I'm out running errands or traveling (the food is consistent at every Panera regardless of location). All of their soups are very good, my favorite is broccoli cheddar, and I recommend either the steak and arugula panini or the steak and white cheddar. I appreciate that they try to responsibly source their food also. Panera has the best coffee, if they sold the beans in their stores I would definitely buy it! I wish they had more options for side though, when you get a pick two and get the choice of a baguette or chips it seems like a carb bomb, other wise I recommend them! read more

Reliably good food. Gluten free options - and the salads are especially high quality/reliable. I have to say the unsweetened iced tea is a family favorite. I literally to,out of my way to pay over $2 for a large tea from Panwra! Clear, nice rich tea flavor and just the right amount of bite. I have found the lemons good and not mush/previously frozen as well. The gluten free chocolate cookie is often a treat too! And this is THE place to have a leisurely meeting- you can camp and have several people come work with you over time. Clean! read more

Was not impressed. We went in to eat and for some reason they had no bread?? How does a bread company run out of bread? Anyway, we got our food and it wasn't bad! Everything tasted good. I would have left a three star review because of everything going well, however something happened after eating... I waited outside the bathroom for the person I was eating with to get out. Then, for some reason one of the employees walked past me and kicked in the door! I think it was a joke to scare his friend but why?!? What if someone was in front of the door and got hit? Honestly, I don't often think of Panera when weighing my options for lunch or dinner, with 2010 filled with lots of cheese burgers AND cheese curds, I'm going to change that in 2011. I went there for lunch and loved the choices, yes, Panera can be tricky with their nutrition, due to the fact you think your getting something healthy when it's not really that good for you, but they do have their calories posted on their menu. I ordered the thai chicken salad and it's was great, for around 8 bucks you get a salad that serves two and a piece of baguette. Salad was fresh, chicken was good and the dressing had a true kick to it. Their bakery items looked amazing, but it's a new year, so I won't dive into those for a good six month when all resolutions have been long forgotten. Hit or miss... Some of the advertised items are mediocre (pastas), but they also have some exceptionally tasty items (squash soup, all salads). I haven't tried many of their sandwiches but they look tasty when I see other people ordering them. And it is extremely hard to park in their lot during meal times, park across the walkway by the Red Robin so you won't be mowed over trying to walk in. read more

Such a weird experience at this location. We went there for dinner last night. My sisters salad had a huge avocado peel in it, my fork was dirty and my salad had frozen chicken in it. The staff was bizarre too- not sure if it was a new crew or what?? While we were waiting for our mac n cheese to come out, the waitress advised it was finishing being microwaved?? They were helpful in remaking the salad, but even with that, the veggies in it were still frozen. We were in no rush at all and would have been fine with them taking the extra time to make sure everything was made as it should have been. Likely won't be back. Ordered food/drinks for a breakfast meeting at work with a pickup of 8:10 am the next morning. The food wasn't ready until 8:40, so had to wait a 1/2 hour for an order that they had over 12 hours notice on. Then once back to the office, items were missing so had to run back to pick up missing items. MY first visit to a Panera Bread and my last! Was at Panera bread on Sept 14,2020.When I first walked on was confused as what we were suppost to do. So we stood there with no help from anybody that works there.Finally an employee said if we didnt know what we want then order from the machine in front of us.I am 71 years young and had no idea what they were talking about.My friend finally figured out what to do.We should have just left.We finally got our order.OMG=== terrible. My salad was about a 5 out of 10,the bread was so dry had a hard time even cutting it so asked for butter and was told they were out of butter!!!What,this is a BREAD STORE and NO butter.I have owned my own restaurant for over 40 years and if my employees ignored the customers they would be terminated immediately.My worse experience. read more

I feel like every time I go here I spend $10 on a very small meal, however, I like being able to order from my phone or from the screens they have there. I ordered breakfast to go and the hazelnut coffee had just ran out. I was told it would be a five minuite wait. The coffee came out less than two minuites after my order did! I had a crapy nights sleep so all my family should be thankful I got my hazelnut coffee so quickly. read more

Simple order. Two salads, two sandwiches and two cups of soup. They forget to put the sandwiches in the bag. The weather was awe full and I ordered in store and drove home, only to find my main courses missing. I was not going to head back. So I called with my receipt number and the problem. The manager acknowledged the mistake. Apologized and made excuses about how this doesn't happen, and they pride themselves on accuracy, etc. No worries. I just was calling for the $20 refund. She offered a coupon for one pick 2 meal ($15 value) or a refund. I chose the refund. She said great all I had to do was head back to the store.....in the blizzard. I said well ok, send me the coupon. She said, sorry you will have to pick that up too. So the only options given were for me to inconvenience myself twice. So fair is fair, certainly. But my time is worth something. I told her I wasn't coming in. So I guess the option is losing the money and some kid eats my sandwiches on break. These people offer delivery. Perhaps bring my food, bring my coupon, bring my refund? Customer service has become just enough to get by and Panera leads the way of the bare minimum. Embarrassing and unfortunate. read more

There is no Panera where I'm from so this was all new to me. I ordered a family sized French onion soup and the pick 2 menu. It was supposed to come with all the extra sides like apples and bread. I told her I didn't need all those food but I just wanted a fruit cup instead since it's just me. I don't know why that's so hard to substitute. At least ask if you can. I ended up getting like one piece of bread. I also realized that I forgot there was croutons and cheese in the soup and I hurried up and ask it it was already made. "Lactose Intolerant". Unfortunately they had made it and I apologized and asked if they could remake it. Then I heard a loud comment from one of the workers. I kind of just wanted to get a refund and leave afterwards. But the manager was able remake my soup without a question. Employees need to keep customer comments to themselves. You can hear them talking smack about you since the kitchen is right next to the counter. read more

Stopped in for dinner while traveling to Door County. Hard to believe this Panera didn't know what was gluten free on their menu. The poor girl taking our order was trying to find a book that told of any allergies. She went to ask the manager in duty for help, and the manager was less than interested in helping her let alone me as a customer. So my family ordered, but I did not. Poor customer service! 730 at night, not overly busy and the manager seemed too busy to help an employee and customer. Many other restaurants to choose from around the area. I have been to many Panera's in my life. The staff was very welcoming...especially Hannah, a young lady working the cash register. She suggested the roasted turkey and avocado BLT and it was one of the best sandwiches I have had at Panera. Very impressed with the service and suggestions. In town on business and ate a late lunch here on a Tuesday. Worse Panera location I've ever eaten at and I've eaten at least 15 locations around the country. First the place was not very clean Tables not wiped down, food on floor from kids, and the area where they make the food looked like a Chinese restaurant - stuff piled up and not organized. I could not believe they had the dirty dish station right next to the drink station. Basically you got to look at a dumpster full of food and dishes as you make your drink - very poor layout. The entire time I'm eating my salad I couldn't get the conditions out of my site and it was a drag on the entire experience. I'm sure there are better options read more

I've been to Panera in other cities and have not had such a terrible experience. This Panera location has rude employees that are not conscious of personal hygene. They touch money and touch food before washing their hands. I've seen employees touch their greasy hair and then make your sandwich. The dining room was a disaster. I had trouble finding clean tables and fresh coffee available. I thought it was supposed to be brewed every hour. Aparently this Panera is not up to standards. Yuck! read more

I love Panera bread company. I always get a cup of broccoli cheddar soup which is SO amazing!!! Panera is one of my go to spots for lunch or dinner. I am not very impressed with the staff members because my order always gets messed up and the staff never helps me to get me correct order. Whenever you go there you also have to wait very long which is annoying. Their machines and the online app never works. I would love to give this place 5 stars because their food is very good, but everything else is not. read more

The required 45 Minute wait time for phone in orders is ridiculous. I have called corporate in regards to this, they have stated there is NO policy for this "REQUIRED" wait time. If i'm driving into work, want to order bagels for my employee's and you say, oh you have to wait or do it on your phone (which is illegal) while driving is out of line. read more

Food OK - Free WIFI is hit or miss. I went in only because I wanted to grab lunch and get a WIFI connection. when it didn't work, local management was not helpful. the tech support was unable to connect any of our devices. Corporate answered our email only to say there is nothing they can do. It seems the WIFI provider is inept. If you enjoy Panera Foodand internet is not important for you. it is a fine place. Panera has been my go-to choice for "fast food" for quite awhile and I, like a lot of other people, were happy when they opened up a location in Green Bay a few years ago. I have gone to this particular location several times in the past six months or so and I have noticed a *very* disappointing downward slide in terms of quality and customer service here. Although all of chain's location carry the same items for the most part and the food *should* be the same, it makes a huge difference if the store is managed well and if the staff gives a crap. Sorry to say, it seems like there's not much "giving a crap" going on there--leaving out ingredients (e.g. missing chicken on a chicken salad), leaving items out of an order altogether, providing the wrong or no silver ware (e.g. an order of soup with a knife as the utensil), refusing to brew coffee although 3 out of 4 carafes are empty and the store is super busy. This remains a pretty popular eatery since it's "higher end" fast food and in a really good location--and I suspect this is why the store has been able to get away with sliding so far down. I still visit this location since it's convenient, but my visits are very few and far between--I'll spend a little extra time and/or money to find some place more decent! read more

Ate at Panera at approx. 4 pm on Sunday, Feb.10, 2013. I had bowl of creamy tomato soup. The soup was not that hot and there was something in it that did not seem to belong (small piece of chicken?) 33 hrs. later I have severe bloody diarrhea. This is the only food I had that was different than what my husband ate during this time period. I was wondering why there were only a few cars in the parking lot. I will never eat here again.
