Place was filthy No coffee out Was told they only have white bread - no whole wheat or anything with grains other than that flat roll that comes with the egg white sandwich. I stopped into Panera for a quick bite and ordered the half ciabatta cheesesteak with a cup of potato soup, chips, and a bottle of water. With tax it came out to $19.17. Everything tasted fresh and hit the spot. The sandwich had great flavor, the soup was hot and comforting, and the staff was pleasant while I was there. Solid stop when you want something quick that still feels like a real meal. read more

I ordered the "Garden Avo" (which is toast) and realized after I paid that they gave me the "Garden Avo Egg White Sandwich". I drove away thinking I'd try it out but it was not up to par..bland, no flavor, watery, HARD avocado slices. I tried calling the restaurant but could not get through and it was not even peak hours. I have kids and it's dead of summer, there's no way I could go back to the drive thru already headed to our next destination. So I'm out that money. Panera in general got rid of all the items I go there for: Napa chicken salad, basic ham sandwich, molasses bread, Gouda cheese as an option, mustard or mayo on sandwiches. The menu overall is confusing and makes it feel like a whole new restaurant which is maybe what they're going for. Hoping to find a better cafe in the west valley that has fresh foods and a good chicken salad at the least. read more

We always do drive thru pick up and every time we have a problem. The most recent time, I placed a pick up order at 9:16am and when it was confirmed, it said it wouldn't be ready until 9:44am. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and two pastries....why is that taking 30 minutes? When we got there at 9:30, it didn't look busy. The girl said she hadn't even received our order which doesn't make sense. Got the food at 9:45am and it was not worth that wait. I know there's an egg shortage right now, but they need to disclose that they aren't using real eggs. read more

Where do I start? We both needed soup for dinner and stopped here. We got the special that comes with half a sandwich. We both got grilled cheese, and the cheese was not nearly melted enough. My tomato soup was OK, but the bowl should've been filled a bit more. Hubby got chicken noodle, and his bowl was not even half filled. Nope, he was not a happy man. To top it off, that bowl had one small piece of chicken and 3 noodles. The rest was broth. Sad, I wish I had gotten a picture of that. Add in two drinks, and the total was over $32.00. It's not worth it. Sorry, not sorry. Nope. Won't be back. read more

I feel disrespected To know that someone made this sandwich, gave them self an atta boy nod, wrapped it up and served me with a smile. I should have taken the time to look up this location before even driving over there. The establishment only has 2 stars and something tells me that the 2 stars for this venue is earned There's absolutely no way someone put this together and thought to themselves this was a sandwich Never again I tell you Panera bread is dead to me read more

I was in the area and needed a quick yummy lunch! I found a Panera Bread nearby and darted for this place! It looks clean, nice, and new. I decided to do the ordering at the self ordering area. Of course, I forgot my drink! I walked to the counted and tried to order a large ice tea but the staff member was so nice to offer it to me for free. THANK YOU! That was very sweet and not necessary. There plenty of seating areas and I picked the main dining area in the corner. They delivered my 1/2 and 1/2 special (soup and sandwich). For my soup, I got cream of chicken and wild rice soup. For my sandwich, I got the half chicken bacon rancher. I almost got a bag of chips and a large green tea. read more

I drove through yesterday to get two cinnimon rolls for breakfast and noticed they were not similar to the ones I had gotten before. These looked like hocky pucks not the big fluffy ones from before. They not olny looked like hocky pucks they were hard and stale and had the texture of hocky pucks. I am sure they were two or three days old dry and over baked. Do yourself a favor and find a Knedders or other store that actually bakes there own bread products. read more

As I was ordering at the drive-thru,I thought to myself why haven't I come here before. I ordered (1) chicken Roma asiago bagel stack at 1:54 PM (on the receipt). They told me to wait at parking spot number two as the order was taking some time. As I watched other cars, get their food and noticed their bags were larger or sometimes more than one, I thought to myself when will I get my one bagel. By 2:10 PM I went in the store wondering what happened to my sandwich. As I was asking for a manager, I saw a young man walking out the door towards my car and realized that was my sandwich. I finally got it at 2:14PM. I realize now I know why I don't frequent this restaurant. Taking 15 minutes for one bagel does not work for anyone who's looking for a quick meal. I would avoid the Goodyear drive-through. read more

This place has really gone downhill. I ordered two bear claws, which were normally delicious. They were cold, as though they were defrosted and not quite brought back to temperature and stale. Also, they were not fluffy at all, but rather compressed down and didn't even look like the ones I've ordered in the past. I know they have an extensive menu now but it is a bakery so I'd expect their baked items to be top notch read more

Was not really happy with value to portion size. Food was not really anything special for the price they charge. More bread to fill you up more than fillings. I just ordered from here for the first time ever. I know I'm late to the party but it's so good!! I ordered on Door Dash and got 1/2 a sandwich and 1/2 soup combo, amazing! It's a lot of food!! The broccoli cheddar soup is perfection! The sandwich is not skimpy, it's hot, the chicken is not overcooked, and it's delicious! I also ordered a ciabatta cheesesteak and I love it!! My 4 year old stole the soup so it was a win for our entire family! Thanks Panera for a quality, delicious, perfectly prepared lunch! read more

Panera store located at: 1452 Pebble Creek Pkwy, Goodyear, AZ 85395. I love Panera for their coffee, tea, bagels, sandwiches, salads, bakery, and all the self serve drinks. However, for this Panera I would give this store negative stars if I could. At 6:05pm, I ordered a tuna sandwich with arugula on a toasted baguette. Lady manager came out about ten minutes later to tell me as a matter-of-fact that getting a tuna sandwich on a toasted baguette was not possible at this Panera. I would have paid extra if that was an issue for the Lady manager. For over thirty minutes I could overhear the Lady manager working the register and pushing the Panera rewards to all the walk-in customers. Lady manager has a loud, commanding, and projecting voice. She sounded nice, courteous, and respectful to all the other customers. That was not the same and equal treatment that I received from her today on June 09, 2023 at 6:20pm; all the contrary. Let the record reflect that quality customer service, and equal treatment to all customers is severely lacking at this Panera store. Jordan read more

I decided to stop by Panera Bread for lunch, as it was right around the corner from me. It's been years since I've been to one. Like pre-covid! So, I was happy to be dining in after such a long time. There's been lots of changes since I've visited last. They now have self-order check-ins. You can use the tablets to check out the menu and put in your order. I'm giving this visit a 4-star instead of 5 because it this change. This change isn't necessarily bad. It was just extremely annoying for me to spend mins looking over the menu, adding items to the cart, getting ready to put in the order, just for it to tell me it was card or Apple Pay only. That irritated the soul out of me. I don't know why they didn't have all 3 options on there--card, Apple Pay, or cash... Nonetheless, it was very inconvenient, as I had to go wait in line to order just to pay by cash, when I spent mins on the tablet preparing to put in my order. Aside from that, my dine-in experience was pleasant. It was clean and cozy; and I appreciated the free Wi-Fi, as I had terrible service on that side of town. It was about 5pm and there was a good amount of ppl dining in. Nearly 1/2 of the tables were full, which is a lot, because, some Panera's are pretty large, for them being a sandwich shop. I ordered the Turkey Bravo sandwich (full), which came with chips, and a pickle; and for my drink, I decided to try one of their lemonades. I tried the Fuji Apple Cranberry lemonade and I loved it! It was very crisp and refreshing! Panera Bread hasn't failed me yet when it came to the quality and taste of the food. So, I'm a happy camper! read more

Not the first time I've had a food issue with this place. I have gotten a mediterranen veggie with NO meat and there was turkey on it. This time, I take my second spoonful of soup and before I eat it I see a thick black object... I didn't believe it thought it was basil or something until I flipped it and touched it, round and hard. I found a bug in my cup of ten vegetable soup, it looks like a beetle of some sort. There are more reviews of bugs being in their food. I'm appalled and angry nothing has been done, it looks like they have a health violation too. I talked to the manager and all she did was give me my money back. She didn't do anything about it. Was very nonchalant as if this happens all the time. For those who want to dine there I would suggest not! read more

I've been to Panera a couple of times since they took over paradise bakery. I was disappointed a few times with the portions on their chicken walnut sandwich but kept coming back because it wasn't always like that. However, this is the first time that I have ever experienced something this horrid. I ordered my usual chicken walnut sandwich with a fruit cup and my god. The bread felt like you had to put your all into just tearing it apart with your teeth, they practically only put a spoonful of the actual chicken walnut part of it, then covered it with a bunch of "greenery".. well this greenery was all brown and you could easily see that it was past it's expiration date. And my fruit was all mushy and brown. And the little pickle that comes with this meal? Just take a look at the pictures I've attached. To add on to it all, there was a dead roach on the floor. read more

I took my 3 children in for dinner. We ordered a cheese flatbread and 2---1/2 soup, 1/2 sandwich meals. I'm not sure what's going on but I experienced some of the things others have mentioned in the reviews. While I LOVE bread, the ratios were off. So much bread, so little chicken salad and so little cheese for the grilled cheese. The soups were tasty but not hot (just warm) and it was like they put a cup of soup into a bowl. This location is absolutely FILTHY. Too bad as it's brand new and just off the highway. The Turkey Bacon Bravo was made with rather slimy lunch meat and both sandwiches were very sloppily put together. The girl who took our order was nice and had admittedly not eaten anything there! I don't think the floors have been vacuumed since they opened and there was not one clean table in the place- no, it wasn't that busy. The drink machines, counter and floors under them were so dirty, I thought I was next door at the new Circle K! No, there floors/counters were cleaner.
