    Lemon drop cookie
    Alesa W.

It was my first time back at Panera since covid. I love Panera not sure why I stopped but it was always a fave. I went today and got a whole Fuji apple chicken salad; it's my fave salad not a huge fan of the chicken in the salad but overall it's definitely a salad I always get. What brought me by surprise and makes me sad is that they got rid of my favorite sandwich which is why I had to get a whole salad because I usually do the pick two-the tomato mozzarella sandwich was my go to! OMG why did they get rid of it?! None of the other sandwiches compare, ugh such a good sandwich. It had been so long since I've been I forgot to get an apple with my salad instead of bread. Tried their lemon drop cookie and it's was delicious, all in all my lunch was good and although disappointed in my sandwich being gone, I will be back!

A ridiculously small half Greek salad!
    Karen S.

Every time I visit Panera bread, I order the same thing a Greek salad. I was shocked to discover that the size of the bowl has decreased, and the portion was ridiculously, ashamedly, embarrassingly small. I complained, which I never do. The manager claimed they were always this size. Do they think we are all fools? After ordering this salad for over 15 years in multiple locations around the country I know that this isn't the size it's always been. Is lettuce really that expensive?

Toasted Steak and White Cheddar Sandwish

I ordered food through the Panera app and was really looking forward to my steak sandwich. However, it was missing all the toppings except a small amount of cheese. The horseradish sauce and onions make this sandwich special so it was disappointing that they were missing. My mother ordered the same thing, her toppings were also missing and she barely had any steak on her sandwich. I'm used to better quality from Panera. Not sure if it's just this location or a bad day.

Great place for a early morning snack and refreshment before going shopping. This location is always super sparkling clean. The food is fresh not usually crowded, easy to get in and order grab a seat and pick up food and relatively relaxing atmosphere. The refillable teas a good bonus to take one for the ride out. The girlfriend loves the soups and I have been making the flat bread pizzas my thing lately.

This is the soup I was given. The ring of soup in the bowl is from me carrying it to my table. note the couple shreds of cheese in the soup

I ordered French Onion soup. The soup had four croutons floating on top with no melted cheese. The bowl was large and the portion small. When I tasted the soup, it was very salty and lukewarm, No Where Close to the temperature that hot soup legally must be served at. I asked the woman working why there was no melted mozzerella cheese on top of toasted bread (it is a bread company after all). She said customers don't like the melted cheese on top!! She then sprinkled 1 tablespoon of cheese shreds on top of the croutons. Where the heck did they get this crappy recipe and such awful execution?

Typically Panera is a solid choice for any meal of the day. But the last time I went was the most lack luster lunch that I've ever received. Thankfully they are a chain restaurant so the food tastes the same pretty much every time . That being said the soup I ordered was on par but the sandwich I ordered was loveless. It didn't taste like anything and the meats were so cold they must have just been taken out of the freezer. I'm still going 4 stars because honestly as long as I go to Panera and get the soup and some bread that will always put a smile on my face.

Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt and Broccoli Cheddar Soup from the "You Pick 2" menu

Everyone raves about Panera but I wasn't impressed. I've only eaten Panera bread about 3 times before and couldn't remember my experiences there so I was up for trying it again with my group of friends. I ordered from the "You Pick 2" menu, which is misleading by the way. The price in green next to "You Pick 2" makes you think that's the price of the meal, when in fact it's just the cost of the half sandwich. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt with the broccoli cheddar soup. I understand that it was half of a sandwich but it was so tiny! It was barely the size of my palm. I couldn't believe that was $5.80. I expected it to be a bit spicy or at least a little kick to it being that the name included "chipotle" but there was no kick whatsoever so I was disappointed by that. The avocado was really fresh and was a great taste to the tiny sandwich. The soup was good but not as flavorful as I expected. We were a large group of 9, so we were kind of squished in a tight corner. Maybe more room would be great in such a busy restaurant. Overall, I was disappointed. I don't see myself visiting any Panera Bread restaurant soon.

I love me some Panera bread! They make fresh bread that is so delicious to your senses it is almost a shame to take advantage of their outside seating, or it would be if you wanted to be selfish and leave the family dog at home. Panera Bread offers anything you could want in my opinion. They have frozen drinks, delicious sandwhiches [that come with a pickle!] , baked goods and yummy soups. I like to get mine in a bread bowl as it is satisfying to see a completely empty plate.

Our waitress was very pleasant, and made sure we had what we needed. The vibe inside was very quiet, cozy, and romantic, making it a really nice spot for a relaxed date night. That said, the vegetable fried rice and dumplings were both a 5 out of 5. The dumpling dipping sauce was honestly one of the best I have ever had and really stood out. The staff was very nice and pleasant. The space is on the smaller side, which was fine since we went during a slower time. We were not able to choose our table, which would have been nice, and while you are not right on top of other people, the tables are close enough that it can be hard to have a private conversation. There were a couple things that held it back. I was served a drink that was close to eight months expired. I did not make a big deal about it and still drank it, but that is something they definitely need to stay on top of. Also, the menu said Pepsi products but only Coke was available. With better inventory checks and a more updated menu, this place could easily be a five star spot. It is just not quite there yet.

The boa buns were soft, the pork was cooked perfectly, and the hoisin sauce at the bottom of the bun was amazing. There were vegetables on top, including cucumbers that tasted sweet and carrots. The vegetables were fresh and tasted great with everything else. We also ordered the crab Rangoon which I personally really liked. I don't like fish, and this crab Rangoon must have had a large amount of cream cheese base. I personally really enjoyed it since the crab wasn't very prominent. The filling was creamy, the Rangoon was crunchy, and the sweet and spicy sauce it came with made a perfect combo. For our meal, we ordered the chicken pad Thai. Unfortunately, it didn't really meet our expectations. The pad Thai was sitting on top of a sauce at the bottom, which tasted like a hoisin sauce base. The taste was very minimal, which was disappointing. The noodles were soft, almost like they were overcooked. The chicken was cooked well and lightly seasoned (which worked perfectly for the pad Thai). The vegetables on top of the pad Thai were also very fresh and you could tell they were freshly cut. The lack of peanut/pad thai taste was the most disappointing part that unfortunately lost it for us. The service was good. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and were able to select our own table. The inside is decently small, with around 8 tables.

I order for the classic broth, bok choy, Ramen, enoki mushrooms, shrimp, bean sprouts, and some other veggies. While I waited for my server to return with my goods, I went and created my own sauce concoction. I went with a mix of different things, and they have a sauce, concoction recipe that you can utilize to create your own dips. Since the restaurant was pretty empty, you could tell it was very clean which I really liked about my experience. The server checked on me multiple times and was really good about making sure that I had a refill on my soup base or my toppings. Overall, it was a great lunch experience that I would highly recommend if you want to enjoy a solo lunch or with friends. I really like this option because it allows you to customize your own soup and try out different varieties for your pot.

Oh my god, I took a single bite and didn't speak to my friend for 15 minutes as I continued munching it down. It was amazing. The vermicelli comes underneath this mound of pork holy grail, and while I'm used to having my vermicelli with these bowls cold and a bit thinner, and there being significantly more noodles than meat ratio, I'm thrilled to say that not this bowl - this bowl was 60% pork, 30% noodle, and 10% veggie. I'm taking every bite with 2-3 pieces of pork. I'm soaking up the juices with the noodles. I'm crunching on a few cucumbers to balance it out. I'm savoring every piece. Absolutely wonderful. Based on the reviews, we thought it was going to be a nice meal. Walking in my father-in-law said are you sure we should eat here. I said the reviews are great. I'm sure it will be fine. Let's just take everything in with a grain of salt. My father-in-law ordered pad Thai, which he typically loves. However, it was not very good at all. Actually, he said it was the worst pad Thai he had ever had. My daughter ordered the pineapple fried rice. She said it was not very flavorful and quite greasy. I had the green curry, which was decent, I did like the fact that it had less coconut milk than other establishments that I've sent you before. It is one of my favorites so I feel like it's something that I can't speak upon. I did have a good amount of vegetables and I love the fact that they use lotus roots. And eggplant. However, it wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst so I feel like that one was a good effort. Onto cleanliness. I really feel like they have a lot of room for improvement here. Even if most of your business businesses carry out, which I imagine it is, you still need to have a knee and clean environment for people to feel comfortable. And I believe that that's where my father-in-law's trepidation came to play. I can't say it was overly dirty, but you can tell that it was worn out. And I saw a lot of carryout business happening. That means that you still have a pretty decent cash flow coming in. My suggestion, as a restaurant consultant, is to use your days off to do a gut of all things unnecessary, do a deep clean and or replace things that obviously need replacing. And there's quite a bit that needs replacing. I'm talking tables, chairs, Flooring, paint the walls, etc. Also dollar store cutlery honestly is never OK when you're charging the prices that you are.
