    Typical portion of bread

This place is pretty much as you would expect. I dropped by to grab a bowl of soup. Food is acceptable, but nothing great. I usually get the wild rice soup which comes with a piece of bread by default. Would I come here again - yes, but just keep in mind that it's gotten a bit expensive and you'll need to make the value judgement for yourself.

My son enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie. Coffee was great too. Located among other establishments in the shopping area.

Broccoli cheddar soup is really really good. pastries are great. some of the sandwiches are really wonderful. I wish staff at both of the Panera I do go to or happier. I am seeing this across all places though not enough people want to work and it makes it hard for those who do. I wish more people were smiling because when you come in and get your coffee in the morning and a pastry or a bagel we enjoy it, and we wish that the staff even though we smile and they get a smile when we say good morning and have a wonderful day that they carry that through. when you can't cook at home Panera is a great spot for breakfast or lunch and their takeout is really fast. Consistency and quality is the same from one coast to the other which I am very thankful for. Sometimes the floors get a little dirty and tables not cleaned at the gainesville but I think that's also due to staffing problems not because they don't want it to be. Overall there are days I come in once to twice getting coffee and lunch or something for the drive home

The first time I've been to Panera in at least 6 months and now I remember why. Ordered with a live human cashier and that was my first mistake, because Daniella didn't enter in fully half of our order. To his credit the server who brought the order went to make it right when I mentioned the lack of food for my kids. Still, I had completely finished my meal and still nothing for them, so I did the smart thing and went to the kiosk to order their food. 5 minutes later, there it was, and the order was correct. Lesson learned, use the kiosk, your order will be correct and you'll get it quicker. Now for the food itself, I ordered the green goddess salad and the half portion size I ordered was more than large enough, however the quality of the lettuces was evidently not monitored as I received an enormous (brown) chunk of stem in mine. The hard boiled egg had also seen better days and looked chewed up. Overall, the meal was just meh, and that's why the two stars rating. Quantity does not trump quality for me, and quality was definitely lacking here. As for service, they might as well not have human cashiers if they can't get an order right. Verdict, it'll be a long long time before I come back again. There are better fast options for less.

"Cappuccinos" - here, it's just super-overpriced regular drip coffee with milk that will set you back $4.09 + tax for each

In general, I like Panera - I'm just extremely disappointed in their breakfast. We ordered a bagel, an egg, cheese and bacon brioche sandwich and 2 cappuccinos. The Asiago cheese bagel, something we usually get, was fine - great even. The breakfast sandwich was comically small (see pictures). It was absolutely dwarfed by the bagel, coming in around a mere 3" in diameter. It was even smaller than the coffee lid. Maybe I'm used to the sizes of breakfast sandwiches from BK, McDs and Starbucks (and maybe this speaks to portion sizes from these places) but for the price ($5.39 + tax!!!), I expect more. Finally the "cappuccinos". It was just coffee with milk. Not the characteristic foaming milk that would identify the beverage as a cappuccino tor anyone, just integrated milk. You can take a look at the pictures, but we'd be even hard pressed to even call this a caffe latte, as it's so weak I can't believe this started with espresso shots, and was most likely just made with regular drip coffee. And for the price - $4.09 + tax for each regular size??? Horrible and shameful.

    Chili w/ multigrain bread

Mixed reviews for this place. On the one hand, I had a good bowl of chili here recently, On the other hand, during another visit - I had a breakfast sandwich - sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel. They slit the bagel, slid the premade ingredients into the slot, microwaved it until it was hotter than Hades, and served it up. The result? A soft, mushy bagel that burned the hell out of my mouth. Panera - learn to toast the bagels! I won't be ordering any breakfast sandwiches from them ever again!

Unsliced and not toasted. I will eat it anyways because I have to go to work.

The food alone would've made the night, but our waiter really took it to another level. He was warm, personable, and clearly remembered my grandparents from past visits. He greeted them like old friends and was genuinely helpful throughout the meal, steering us toward dishes we'd love based on what we were in the mood for. That kind of attentive, personal service is hard to come by. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great Mediterranean/Middle Eastern meal with excellent service to match. Our waitress, Farrah, was fantastic--she was warm, attentive, and had just the right mix of professionalism and friendliness that really stood out. The food came out surprisingly fast, which was impressive given how fresh and hot everything was. We started with the cheesy bacon fries and paired them with the BBQ ranch (that's what I call it), and it was an absolute game-changer--rich, flavorful, and something we'll definitely be ordering again. Every bite tasted like it was made to order, not rushed or thrown together. The atmosphere was just as enjoyable as the food. The restaurant had plenty of seating, so it never felt cramped, and everything was spotless and well-kept. What stood out most was the sense of community--many of the staff seemed to know the customers by name, creating a warm, welcoming vibe that made the place feel more like a neighborhood gathering spot than just another restaurant. Between the top-notch service, delicious food, and how quickly everything was served, this place checks all the boxes. We'll absolutely be back to try more of the entrees on the menu.

Stereotypical decor and menu, Grains and Grog stood painfully empty on a Saturday afternoon playing music nostalgic to anyone who graduated high school before 2010. I ordered a Manhattan. Hallway through, looking down at the bottom of the glass, I saw two tiny flies floating at the bottom. As disgusted as one can reasonably be, I asked for another one to be made (why I bothered, I can't say. Maybe it was because I had already drank half). I found another small fly in the second before the server left the table. Another fly in the third as well. We didn't finish our meals for obvious reasons. They brought us the check, discounted the manhattans and 50% the check, though I didn't feel I should have paid anything. After paying the check, they said it was a mistake. They brought us the wrong one and would void the sale. The "correct" check they brought us was the full meal sans the 3 botched manhattans. We won't be going back
