Been seeing ads for the Asiago bagel stack and was so stoked to try it because I love Panera Bread's Asiago bagels so much! I decided to do drive thru since I was on my way for a road trip. I pulled thru and no one was there. The screen was off and I said 'hello' probably 3x. So then I decided to make an online order for the Asiago bagel stack chicken roma, minus the chicken. Pulled thru the drive-thru and told the lady at the window that I had a drive-thru app order. Since I had just ordered, I had to wait for a bit, but not a problem. Got my bagel stack and decided to sit in the parking lot to have a quick bite. A couple bites in and I realized something chewy in my mouth. Is there mozzarella in this? What is this chewy item? Of course, they had accidentally put chicken in my stack, when I had specified no chicken. On the receipt it also had said no chicken. Went inside and decided to let them know they made a mistake. As they should, they created a new bagel stack for me without chicken and offered me a sweet treat on the house. Which was nice, but decided to leave the chips out. I wanted the kettle chips more than the sweet treat! I was already running late and then this whole process delayed my time even more. Just kind of bummed about the mishap. This place was very busy during lunch time on Sunday. Very family friendly environment. The staff saw me wiping down a table and offered me a sanitizing wipe. I went to the drive-thru to get a drink 10 min before closing. Drive-thru was brightly lit so, I waited and waited no answer. I finally drive around to see if the place is open. I see three people working near the drive-thru window so I knock on it. Three separate times. I felt I was being ignored on purpose. So I parked my car and walked in and the first thing I see is a "manager" looking guy is sitting at a table doing nothing. So I raised an issue regarding non-responding drive-thru. He looks clueless and mumbles if the "sensor" is not working...walks away to the back side. No apologies, no acknowledgment of any sort. No wonder this place has such low rating. There is a difference between making honest mistakes and not caring. I don't think the manager nor the employees care. While mistakes can be fixed, not caring attitude is contagious. The Fulton, MD location is not great at all. Normally I don't write reviews but I was truly disappointed today. I arrived at the Drive thru window at 5:58am. waited until 6:11am. Blew my horn and all. No one even acknowledged me. I pull around the front. Park and go in. Explained to Mike the manager that no one acknowledged the drive thru. Instead of apologizing, he said " you must have arrived way before we opened at 6 because I put the cone there. We didn't have staffing." I told him "no, I arrived at 5:58am and patiently waited. " He still NEVER apologized. So I place my order for a bagel and cream cheese. I was the first person there. It took them 10 minutes to even put my bagel in the toaster. I would have left but I needed to take medication w/ food. They truly need to take to the owners of chick fil a with regards to customer service and communication. Online ordering and in-store pickup is the new normal! I love being able to order from the app, be advised of a pickup time, and arrive to pick up my order without any interactions with staff. This is a standalone location with a drive-thru in the same shopping center as Harris Teeter at the west end of the lot, Chipotle and Hudson Coastal on the north side, and Gonga Cha to the east. Plenty of parking including parallel parking spots. My order was ready by the time I arrived, everything was accurate and complete (Mediterranean veggie sandwich with modifications, Greek salad with modifications, Charged Lemonade), and utensils and napkins were provided. The process was seamless. It was clear where the pickup cubbies were, and the interior was clean and spacious. The drive-thru was incredibly busy and almost all seats were occupied inside so not an ideal place if you want a quiet location to work. read more

October 4th. I ordered my salad on my phone from the parking lot to dine in. Then I went in and waited in the area in front of the counter where you pick I the food. While I was waiting I was able to observe the kitchen area. There were 3 preparing the orders and the 4th one had a fly-swatter and was going around killing flies and bugs in the same area. I couldn't believe my eyes..there were quite a few small bugs in the air all over the kitchen area and this guy was at it with his swatter and bugs were dropping over the food area. I asked for the manager to cancel my order. To my surprise, the swatter man was the Manager himself. He apologized profusely and offered to make another salad. I asked for refund. He gladly gave me refund also offered free salad which I declined. I said $12 is not the issue.. I did not go there to eat unhealthy and contaminated food - free or not. read more

The people working at this location have exactly two brain cells shared between the team. Tell me why I ordered a turkey sandwich and they quite literally gave me all veggies and no turkey. Just bread and rabbit food basically. Idk how you forget the core ingredient in a sandwich, but it's time to take away the blinkers and fix the education system because there's no way a sober, educated person made that meal. Her amazing personality, smile, and positive attitude is the kind that can literally change the course of your day. She ALWAYS remembers your name, and your order. When I am in the store, I can hear her greeting other people by their name as well. She provides the kind of service you would expect at an upscale , privately owned cafe... not a massive chain. Visited on a Tuesday evening. It was fairly empty...one customer at the counter and another at the self-ordering booth. I decided to use the self-order tablet. Selection and checkout was easy. The wait was lengthy (about 20 minutes) and the staff moved a little slow, but I've experienced that in other Panera's as well. Also, several people who placed their order before me received their food first, and I only ordered two "Pick 2" meals. I tried the new citrus Asian crunch salad with chicken. It had a decent flavor, but the chicken was very fatty and I had to throw out several pieces. Everything else was tasty. The restaurant and outside patio (where I dined were clean). I've never been satisfied with a take-out order from this location. On a recent Saturday morning I used the app to order two spinach and artichoke souffles and four cranberry-orange muffins and was told the order would be ready at 8:20 am. To my annoyance: (a) the order was almost 15 minutes late, (b) I had to accept a four-cheese souffle in lieu of one of the spinach and artichokes, and (c) the muffins were badly underbaked - the tops we're sunken instead of rounded. As an ex. employee for this establishment for the past 3 years, I've experienced nothing but disrespect from the General Manager Aron Coleman and his unprofessionalism. In the back there is nothing but dirty floors, expired food in both sandwiches and salads stations. Panera bread does not care about their employees, they take advantage of young teenagers who want a job and will get physical with them (allegedly). They will be yelled at by the managers and the General Manager, Aron Coleman would do nothing but watch. The service is always slow because of the play fighting happening in the back where managers couldn't care less if workers washed their hands, touched their hair, or even ate customers food before they give it out. It all went down when I was getting yelled at by a manager who stole money from this establishment. I was completely ignored by Aron Coleman but waiting over 3 weeks with bills to pay, still nothing. I am done being taken advantage of from Panera Bread Maple Lawn who will replace me at any time. I have given my all for this company for 3 years and all I get was nothing...you can ask the people who worked beside me and all the people who have quit due to the lack of management and respect these grown ass adults give to these teenagers working.
