I have been utilizing their coffee program for the last month and a half, however I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I have received - or better put, the lack thereof. I was a manager for a health and wellness coaching program for a decade, and am extremely customer service focused. As a 40 something year old in the professional business arena, I would never treat clients nor customers the way that I have been treated upon entering.
Not one staff person makes eye contact, nobody bothers to turn their head. Nobody once has ever said hello, let alone greeted me upon entering and I have gone there more times than I can count since it's my daily go to for coffee at the moment. I could totally understand if it was packed, but I go before 7:00 a.m. every morning and the store is literally empty sans employees.
Today (once again) I was the only person in there, and (once again) I was completely ignored and felt like I was intruding upon the staff conversation, which was scattered with expletives and obviously intriguing the other employees to the point of keeping them in the back where they neglected the front counter. The multiple times I have been in there and it's fully staffed at the front with no other customers, not one person at the counter can be bothered to turn around and say hello, good morning, not even a simple acknowledgment of my human existence.
I made it a point to say good morning to them one time, basically just to force their uncomfortable responses, which were canned. Only one employee was bothered enough by me to turn around and sulkily reply "good morning" to my cheerful greeting. I feel like writing to the owner of the location Sasha, because this substandard of customer care is really not acceptable for any business who puts customers first. It's like walking into the Twilight zone. I'm never tipping them again!
I don't like the way that the times I requested extra almond milk, they left the stopper off of my hot coffee while every other coffee on the shelf waiting to get picked up had a stopper in it to prevent it from leaking. I asked them why my coffee was the only one that didn't have a stopper in it, and the girl responded that I needed to get one from the coffee utensil table. I told her I'm aware that there's a coffee utensil table there, I was asking why mine didn't have it in there. She refused to give me a honest response and instead directed me back to the coffee station. I almost asked them if they did it intentionally because I requested almond milk and complained in the notes about how last time I asked for almond milk my coffee was still black. I swear they did it on purpose. Now I have to request a stopper in my coffee in the comments when I make my order. It's ridiculous. I had a stopper in my coffee every time I got it for a month until I complained a couple weeks ago and ever since then it's been missing. read more
