Ok. Happy we stopped by . . . Just made an impromptu decision to stop at this PANERA location on Nazareth Pike in Easton, PA and OMG. Another HUMID Wednesday and craving a salad, maybe a sandwich. Ordered at Kiosk and the process was easy. Breakfast sandwiches were good, but on the small side. More break than anything. Panera makes good coffee and it went well with the sandwiches. The employees here in the kitchen used to be very loud, good change is whoever was over the top with load seems to be gone. read more

Came for some coffee and a croissant. The restaurant is spacious and the bathrooms clean. The staff were friendly, and the coffee was excellent. They were lacking in their pastries and they didn't have any croissants. I had a multi grain roll with butter which hit the spot. The prices are great. Definitely a favorite for a good lunch sandwich. I can usually always count on Panera to have a fresh tasting sandwich and side. The only reason it's not a 5 star review is because of the cost. For a cold sandwich the price is a bit steep. Had this been a larger grilled or panini pressed sandwich, perhaps I could understand the cost. But charging close to $15 rivals the cost of most gourmet burgers at decent restaurants, not fast food. Walked in with my granddaughter, waiting on line for around 6 minutes until we were noticed. We ordered Mac and cheese kids meal with go-gurt, and a French onion soup, with a drink. Then went back on line when we finished to order for my son, since I was dropping my granddaughter off at her dads house. The drink area was disgusting, the floor and counter was covered with liquid, ( hazard for someone slipping) there were no straws and no covers for drinks. It was that way for the 45 minutes we where there. For our food we were eating there took almost 10 minutes to get, I kept checking and couldn't find an employee making any meals. Finally they called our name, my granddaughters Mac and cheese was not creamy, it was so dried out, she wouldn't eat it. The bathroom, was like a hurricane just happened, one stall , the toilet bowl was over flowing with species in it. Paper towels all over the floor, and the only stall that was working, we had to wait for, and it was an employee in that stall, so it wasn't like they didn't know about how disgusting that bathroom was, my granddaughter, just couldn't hold it in. Another Hazard. Then it came to ordering my Togo order, and it seemed to be the manager doing the drive thru and taking orders at the register at this time. I ordered a large broccoli & cheddar soup and a Turkey bravo sandwich to go and a strawberry mint lemonade drink. The drink was empty and still a mess at the drink area,no caps for the drinks or straws ( hazard area for slipping) , I waited for the new drink to be filled and had to go back up front and they handed me a cover and a straw. Dropped granddaughter off, and as my son opens his Turkey Bravo sandwich, there was no Bacon , that Is one of the main ingredients for the sandwich, it's in the name. Used Siri app on my iPhone to get nearest Panerabread store hence here... ordered usual half Mediterranean veggie minus feta tomato soup chips and drinks included . Seating area is limited as this is smaller shop . Usual clean restrooms gender separated and drinks fountain. 3-30-2021 - Not sure why I keep giving this place a try. First off.... they were out of hand sanitizer at the entrance, but that wasn't the problem. I told the girl at the register but she didn't seem to care. They no longer have napkins in this establishment. When asked, I was told it will come with your meal. The problem was, I had spilled my drink and needed napkins. It's just so absolutely bizare they removed all the napkin dispensers here. Good morning I went to Panera this morning for their chipotle chicken breakfast sandwich. I asked if they could substitute the scrambled egg for an over easy egg, I was told no problem. I also ordered a cup of chicken noodle soup, all to-go. I got home, the chipotle chicken breakfast sandwich had a scrambled egg instead of the over easy like I had asked and the "chicken" noodle soup had 1 piece of chicken in it. I tried calling at 10:20 when I noticed the incorrect order, the phone rang until it disconnected me. I have gone to this Panera before with order issues but I figured I'd give them another chance. Went in this past Friday evening with my parents. The entire place was FILTHY and there were a few employees just like, hanging out with not much to do. My mom ordered a bowl of soup with a baguette, and the girls taking our order (one was new and one was helping) told us there were no more baguettes for the night. So my mom asked, "Is there another kind of bread you could give me?" We're looking at these girls who are in front of a FULL WALL OF BREAD. Rolls, loaves, flatbread, sliced bread, all of it. There's a brief and silent pause and finally one of the girls says flatly, "No." Both sides just kind of...stared at each other? No one blinked or reacted for like a full 10 seconds. Then I looked at the wall of bread just to make sure it was real and back to the girls. It was a standoff until my mom, who is far too polite, just said okay and we left to find a seat. Every single table was filthy and covered in dressing and crumbs. We identified the least-gross spot and took a seat, then realized that underneath our table was a discarded baguette! The universe can be so cruel. It was covered in broccoli? I'm only adding that detail to give you an understanding of how chaotic this place was. So then we get our food, and realize that they didn't give us any spoons. I go back up to the counter to grab a spoon and see that the manager is loading up a to-go order, and in it she puts a baguette. So I ask her, "We didn't get any bread? Could we have a baguette?" She tells me they are out. Again, I'm staring at a baguette in her hand. So then I look behind her head and see a loaf of sliced bread. I demand more than I ask for a slice of bread. She is a bit hostile and hesitant before finally caving and giving it over. Extraordinarily bizarre. Always consistent in quality whatever store you go to. Since everything is still pick up , you go on their app, order, pay and they bring the food to your car. Was busy as most people hanging out in parking lot outside their car eating. Service was fast and friendly. Large parking lot. As usual portions are on the small size. Unfortunately this restaurant has not kept pace with other Panera's restaurants. There is no ordering from one's table. There are no kiosks to customize your order in the store. You can do that from the app, though. Modern Panera shops also have cups and mugs set out so if one places an order via the kiosk or app they can simply pick up what they need while the meal is prepared. Here, you need to wait until they place your meal on the delivery cart and hope they remember to include your plastic glass or cup. (Or ask for permission to receive for your glass/cup while you wait.) read more

I felt like i was watching a high school cooking class. It's simple things . Not Hell's Kitchen. When I took pictures, and showed the manager the website picture, which had 1/2 inch of pork they refunded my money. Ordered tuna sandwich to go and boy was I surprised when I went to eat it for dinner. Literally a teaspoon full of tuna on the sandwich. I took a bite and then another. To make a long story short, I did not taste any tuna until the 3rd bite. Really. Normally the portions are good but apparently not when they can get away with it on to go orders. Panera is a perennial family favorite. We were surprised by several shortcomings at the location 1) we bought fountain drinks but were given water cups. 2) my wife purchased a Greek Salad but it can without olives. The receipt says that accuracy matters they quickly fixed the problems but didn't offer the free snack as advertised on the receipt and on signage, I had to ask two associates before they honored it 3) the tea/lemonade drinks are part of the quality we expect at Panera. The young lady who was cleaning out and replacing three of the lemonades too ONE HOUR to replace/ refill THREE spigots. Sheesh! We will avoid this location in the future. read more

Love the chicken noodle soup (when there's noodles in the soup). They do mess up orders quite a bit if I do my usual "you pick 2" combo. Also it's kind of expensive for what you get. Sometimes the soup is loaded with noodles and veggies, other times you pay $6 for just a bowl of chicken-flavored water. The online ordering and pick up shelf is very convenient... This manager, on Saturday, 7/1/23 at 4:45pm was the most uninformed, and arrogant manager I have ever dealt with. I have been going to this Panera near Nazareth, Pennsylvania for years and this is the first time I have had the need to write a complaint. I went in earlier today and ordered two of the grilled cheese sandwiches, but only wanted half for each order which came with of course two bags of chips for $11.85. I purposely did this because there were two different people eating the two different orders that did not live together. When I got home I saw that I only had one whole sandwich which would cost $7.73. I called mainly to get the money back that I had paid extra for the two sandwiches where I only got one. But this manager was nasty. If there were zero stars that is what this Panera would receive, and I am now going to search for a higher manager to complain to. If you want to go to a Panera bread, I would definitely not go to this one. Perhaps a different one would be more familiar with the fact that this would be two different prices and not what I ordered. read more

Went here yesterday for a meeting around 3:30pm. Had drinks while there and picked up about $30.00 of baked goods to take home. We got two Bear claws, which were ok. Definitely not "bakery" quality, but ok. Four raspberry thumb print cookies, the jelly was great but the cookies themselves were extremely dry. We also got two almonds pastries which were so stale that even warming them didn't help! They went in the trash. Two cheese pastries which were completely tasteless and also somewhat stale. Last but not least a loaf of sourdough bread. It was so hard I had to heat it to eat it. It had good flavor but it appeared to be minimally day old. Little to my knowledge, they took the mac and cheese off of the pick 2 menu, which made just these 2 items come out to $14.89 (holy sh*t, my wallet!).
