They put a spoonful of chicken on my daughter's "you pick 2". I got her a mac and cheese and 1/2 chipotle chicken melt. There was a thumb full of avacado and then tell me that everything is pre portioned like I don't go to Panera Bread every week. This had no care at all and was thrown together! Completely unsatisfied with the manager and how we were talking about portion sizes instead of him just charging me extra for the food so my soup doesn't get cold. Went to the register only to explain all over again, what happened what he said, and the young lady wanted to charge me $9?? I was told it was no longer the pick 2 because I'd already paid for it and it was a new/different order... Seriously? "Well it would have been $4.19 if you ordered it at the same time".. Corey the Manager comes and says the same but now its $7... By the time they brought the chicken and advocado (...which was now an obnoxious amount to be facetious) came up to my daughter, ahe was so hungry after the waiting, she'd just eaten the sandwhich and was %90 done... For a chain, they have done alright by me so far. I was mildly confused as to how one was to get to this place, it's in a huge parking lot, but not unless you frequent this plaza is it really very obvious how you get in... Not to me anyways. I think it's a decent fast food option. You can at least think you are eating "good for you foods" - less guilt involved, for me anyways. This store is really long, and it has, what seem like two identical places to order food. It had my friend and I going for a little while - I'm kind of easily confused, but this, beyond just being a little trippy, was seemingly unnecessary for the amount of patrons that were in there. Chicken salad was great. 2. asiago bagel/bagel sandwich. 3. soups are also great. 4. iced green tea or mango shake (once they made it weak, less mango but nicely, willingly added more when I asked) 5. This is a review on this location - service, internet, parking, etc. and not on the food as you probably already know what Panera tastes like. I live in Boston and will generally drive to this location when I want to spend an afternoon sipping coffee without having to pay for parking or walk somewhere. I've never had a problem finding an outlet (although internet is limited to 30 min. from 11:30 - 2:00) and have never had to wait more than a few minutes for my food. The bathrooms aren't always the cleanest and the cashiers are a little slow, but because of it's convenience and only medium-business I will keep going back. I can always sit at this location for hours fairly undisturbed, which is more than I can ask for in the city. read more

The place is giant, clean and staff is extremely nice. Unfortunately the sandwich I had wasn't great. Had the Steak Asiago. All I could taste was horseradish and bun with a bland steak flavor. The chips are always good as are the cookies but main dish is key. I'll likely try a few more sandwiches but heads up on this one. read more

I ordered a broccoli and cheddar mac and cheese in a bread bowl but they forgot the bread bowl. Good thing I checked my bag before leaving! Terrible. The new panera opened on the other side of the parking lot. the lay out is terrible. congested parking that have very narrow parking spaces. The internet service is terrible. No internet service or its limited and very, very slow. Its a very small panera. very limited seating and if you go at a busy time, its even worse. its like youre packed in there like sardines. very loud too. Waiting in line is terrible. They usually just have one person working the register so you will be waiting a long time in line. Bad management, they could do much better. read more

The teenage girls didn't even acknowledge me for what seemed like minutes, and they were careless in taking my order - while sharing high school gossip together right in front of me. We got the steak and white cheddar and all of the blood was on the bread and the "steak" that tasted and looked more like roast beef was absolutely disgusting. This shouldn't even have one star. The woman got mad and probably switched my sandwiches because she got mad that I changed my order. I asked her a simple question of what kind of steak it was and she said that she didn't know. I asked her again and she said that they don't give them that kind of information. It was a simple question that I got food poisoning for. We know the difference between a steak and a roast beef. These people tried to fool us but ask anyone and see what they are gonna tell you. Steak cannot be sliced. I am so frustrated and displeased by this Panera Location. I have been here about 4 times for lunch due to it being close to my work. Every time I hope for it to get better and it only gets worse. If it wasn't for my love of Panera soup and salad, I would never go there (I guess ill start purchasing the Panera brand soups at the Super Market now). FYI I also work part time in the food industry and am familiar with typical procedures. I am going to skip my previous negative experiences and skip to the most recent two visits. I went for lunch to get the You Pick Two deal. The cashier wouldn't look at me, barely spoke at a normal volume, and was not friendly. He did not ask me for my Panera card and did not acknowledge if he heard any of my order. I asked for the Power Kale salad without chicken (vegetarian)- he didn't repeat, look, or notify me in anyway that he heard what I said so i asked again to be sure that he heard me and still got no response or even a nod from him. I got my order and went to the table. (I later realized after ordering online at a different location that the price DOES drop without chicken and/or you can get something else instead.) He didn't even offer to add anything which could keep the price the same and didn't lower the price at all for the salad without chicken. I am not sure what the policies are at all for what a cashier must say/do/ring but I was very put off by this interaction/purchase. Today my coworker and I went to get take out. He went to order and a different man took his order. It was the exact same experience customer service/friendly wise. They all seem like they hate their job. Halfway through his order I even asked my coworker loudly enough for the cashier to look at and hear me, "Do you have a Panera Card?" The cashier still did not bother to ask him. I went to order my food as all the cashiers walked away without saying even a "one minute miss," and I was standing at an empty counter for about 2 minutes. Then the same man from my experience described above took my order again. Exact same customer experience including not asking for my Panera Card. The guy who gave us our food wasn't approachable as well- though it is not in his job description to interact with customers, I would assume. On top of that, I get back to the office to enjoy my tomato soup, and for the first time ever there are no croutons for my soup--- weird? I am really unhappy with the level of service, customer service, customer interaction, and verbiage used- or not used. The food tastes great- as usual. I love panera, but I've run into too many rude employees at this location. The last time I visited this one maybe have been the last straw. I ordered a chicken Caesar and there was hardy any dressing on it. That's fine. I have no issue asking for more. But they gave me greek dressing and I didn't realise until I put it all over my salad and took a bite. I went back to the counter and said I made a mistake and that I'd pay for a second one. The guy (older gentleman) rolled his eyes, huffed, and said, "so you want another salad??" When I said yes he signed and made me another and then dropped it on the counter when he was finished. He gave me extra dressing on the side bit threw in "here, so you won't come back again" Lol but I had to go back again because he took my silverware and forgot to replace it. I got a plastic fork tossed at me instead. Idk if this guy was having a bad day, or what.. But c'mon, you don't bring that attitude to the workplace. Even if it is just panera. I have no desire to go back to this location. I think I'll have to get my Caesar salad fix elsewhere. read more

Usual great Panera food but more then a few times I've ordered the Fuji apple chicken salad only to find no apple chips on it!! The apples are the BEST part!! They won't tell you they are out of them, just give you your food & hope you don't notice. When I ask about it, they are just like "we're out." With a "sucks for you" attitude. Never got my food!!! Worst customer service. Tried to place an order over the phone, woman sounded annoyed and confused! She ended up getting loud with me and had an attitude like I've never experienced before. McDonald's doesn't even behave this way! If this location is to busy to handle phone orders then they need to have more coverage, an associate who is able to handle this position or not offer phone orders as an option. I work in the plaza and eat out often. I'll never eat here again and will most definitely never recommend this panera location for events or any other future orders. For the money one spends with this company, it should offer better service. Putting a rude, loud, annoyed, disrespectful person at your front will only hurt your business. Horrible customer service! My husband called in an order tonight and I picked it up on my way home from work. They told him it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived to pick it up in 15 minutes. I still had to wait for an additional 30 minutes!!! This is unacceptable. At least 10 customers who walked in and ordered after me all got their orders while I was still standing there waiting. I asked at the counter if they could check on my order. They said it was being put together and was coming out now. So a few minutes later a bag appeared on the counter....but surprise it wasn't mine!!! So I asked the person behind the counter if they were making my order. He said it's coming out now. I asked if there was a problem with my order and he didn't answer me! All I ordered was a salad, sandwich and a broth bowl. Why would it take 45 minutes? The manager had nothing to say, no apology, he just threw a fruit cup at me as if that was fixing the situation. What is the point of calling ahead if they aren't going to have the order ready when you get there? Having to wait an additional 30 minutes is just ridiculous! I'm so done with Panera. The service was good and fast. The cashier Francine was very helpful and informative. I told her I wanted something different from what I usually get and she suggested the Roasted Turkey Cranberry sandwich, which was delicious. She also offered me a rewards card and as many times as I've been to panera, I was never offered one before. The only reason why it gets 4 instead of 5 stars is because I asked for no onions in my salad and although it said it on my receipt there was onions in my salad. read more

It's a chain but it's the best take out sandwiches and salads in the area. They do other stuff like pizza but my fave is the Fuji Apple Salad... mmmm... They use seasonal ingredients and update the menu a lot which makes it feel less like The Man. The bakery is crazy tempting and the foccacia bread is killer. You can eat in at a booth or take it home. Lots of parking because it's next to the supermarket. Two birds, one stone. read more

Yes, it's becoming less like a neighborhood sandwich shop and more like an assembly line...but I still like Panera, and this one's not bad. Food is always very fresh - it doesn't stay around long enough to get stale - the breads and pastries are always tasty and satisfying and customer service is usually pretty good. On that last point, I've got to note that Dad and I must have gotten an ex-Marine drill sergeant at the register last week...she was a bit scary...but they always get the order right and the price isn't totally unreasonable. Best time to show up is around mid-afternoon when there usually isn't a crowd. They've got wi-fi too, making it convenient to quickly do some work at lunchtime. Easily accessible and convenient to nearby shopping areas, this Panera passes the test. read more

This is easily the worst Panera I've been to. We just picked up our "rapid order": one sandwich with bacon and one sandwich with ham. Neither sandwiches had meat. Thanks so much!! Unfortunately we live close by and do have our Panera cravings. I usually check to make sure my order is correct, but I don't usually have to physically open up my sandwich. Another time, I ordered rapid pick up, waited an allotted 5 minutes after the ready time, because that's the norm here, and still had to correct the guy making my sandwich. He just stares blankly at me. My dog was waiting in the car so I had to keep running back and forth to make sure she was all set while I waited another 15 minutes for my "rapid" pick up. The staff here seem like they'd rather be doing ANYTHING else than serving us. I miss my Braintree Panera- they had their stuff together! read more

Criminals work here. I ordered through the drive through on 2/20/2019 at 6:00 pm and they took my debit card and returned to the window telling me they were out of items, when I gave them my desired substitute they went to check and came back telling me they were out of those items too. Due to all the questions and time it took them to "check to see" if they had other sides I forgot to get my debit card back. Within one hour I had over 200 dollars in fraudulent charges placed on my card. My card never left the store, I returned to get it and was asked for my id to give it back to me (at this point, my bank had put a stop on all charges due to suspicious activity unbeknownst to me). I believe this may happen to others so be aware and if you must go to this restaurant you should use cash only and count your change. read more

I love Panera however Dedham location is not that great. They always forget to add one or more things to my order. So I end up driving back to office, handling to people their orders and there's always someone short on their lunch order! It's beyond annoying.
