Unfortunately, haggis isn't available every day, so when we visited on a Sunday evening, it was not on the menu. That was definitely disappointing to find out. Instead, we ordered the Scotch egg, sliders, and the deep-fried Mars bar. The Scotch egg was good, but at $13 for a single egg, it felt a bit overpriced. It came with a small side salad, though I think serving two eggs instead would have made it a better value. The sliders were a pleasant surprise. The beef was clearly high quality, and they were the perfect size if you want to enjoy a great burger without committing to a full one. To finish, we shared the deep-fried Mars bar, and it was absolutely delicious. It's definitely a rich dessert, so it's perfect for sharing between two people. I personally would have preferred it with vanilla ice cream instead of whipped cream, but it was still a great way to end the meal. Overall, I'd love to come back and finally try the haggis, but based on this visit, I'd definitely recommend the sliders and the deep-fried Mars bar.

Raising Cane's is the fast-food spot that proves sometimes simplicity is the secret. This popular…read morechain has built a cult following around a very focused menu: perfectly crispy chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, buttery Texas toast, and their legendary Cane's sauce. The box combos are where the value really shines. You get a great deal on a satisfying meal where everything works together. The chicken is always reliably good, and that signature sauce, a creamy, tangy, slightly peppery blend is what ties it all together. It's delicious for dipping not just the chicken, but also the fries and that excellent, soft Texas toast. The fries themselves hit that sweet spot of being crispy without being greasy. A word to the wise: the lines can get seriously long, as it's a hugely popular spot. The absolute best move is to order ahead through their app to skip the wait, which makes grabbing a quick and easy meal a total breeze. Overall, it's a consistently good, decently-priced meal for when a fried chicken craving strikes. Just a heads-up that all that fried goodness, while tasty, can sometimes feel a bit heavy on the stomach, but for most it's a small price to pay for that specific comfort food fix.

The service was nice and she didn't look at me like a weirdo when I ordered my kid's meal (I am only greedy in moderation....lol). The chicken tastes like nothing and its fried. The sauce tastes like what, why and how much sodium is in this shyt! The fries were pretty salty too, so dipping the fries in the sauce was an absolute NO for me. Would I come back here....LMAO....for what? I make much better chicken at home and it doesn't taste like a salt lick.

Wow - what a great deal. I ordered the 2 Sandwich Special which comes with 2 chicken sandwiches of…read moreyour choice and then either fries, sweet potato fries, or onion rings, all for just $16.95! Separately, each sandwich is around $10 and onion rings are $6.50, so the combo is a ridiculous deal. The onion rings are also a HUGE bag so definitely worth the money. For my 2 sandwiches, I got the Honey Kluck Grilled Sandwich and Tang-Go Kluck Sandwich and both were great. The fried chicken here doesn't really feel like fast food - it feels like real chicken meat that isn't greasy at all. The seasoning is good and the sauces are great too. Even the buns felt like good quality! Of the two sandwiches, I preferred the Honey Kluck Grilled Sandwich but both were top tier. The honey sandwich had honey mustard sauce and veggies with a nicely grilled piece of chicken on it. The balance of flavors and fresh veggies with the flavorful chicken was just perfect. 5/5 for sure. The Tang-Go Kluck Sandwich was also very good with a tangy sauce coupled with cheese and pickles. The fried chicken on this was crispy and full of flavor without feeling unhealthy. I would have liked a few more veggies on here, but it was still a solid sandwich. The onion rings were SO CRISPY too. And the bag was huge - probably at least a full onion. The fact that if you ordered 2 sandwiches and onion rings separately, it would cost about $26 but the combo is only around $17 is great value. The food doesn't feel like fast food, and I was completely full after eating the meal. 5/5 would definitely return!
