Soup season is upon us, and Panera is one of my go-tos whenever I need a quick and easy meal (especially when I'm craving warm soup). I love that this location also has the drive-thru, only downside is that it gets very busy during peak lunch and dinner hours and the line seems to move quite slow. I love their broccoli cheddar soup, but their French onion is another favorite. I've tried majority of their soups and they are all pretty good, and I sometimes even get them at Publix/Kroger in the plastic containers. They recently added a toasted garden caprese sandwich and it's my new favorite!! Usually I'll do a "You Pick Two" with half the sandwich and a cup of soup. Perfect portion size for lunch! read more

I had only placed my online order moments before, so was not expecting them to have it ready when I went to the drive thru, but to my surprise, they were able to make it so quickly! This is our local Panera. We are here daily. It gets alot of business and traffic. Ppl are eating, conducting business, etc. We have the sip club monthly membership. It's pretty awesome. Every two hours, the benefit refreshes. The app is very usable too. They struggle sometimes. They run out of hazelnut coffee a lot. The bathrooms can be rough. They are very, very busy and I know they are trying. Keep striving for excellence. read more

We came in with a large group of students on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. Our food came out promptly and everyone's order was correct. My flatbread was warm, had plenty of toppings to the edge of the pizza! The staff was helpful and very courteous. read more

Staff isn't friendly when it comes to these times and will lie and make up excuses. Multiple people waiting 30+ minutes for a singular item. I came in with a group of friends for a QUICK dinner. I ordered a Greek chicken salad with a cookie and a drink. Easy right? WRONG! My sister ordered her food under my name so I could get the points, thinking there would be no trouble at all. My sister got her food wayyy before me yet she ordered after me. So I ask the lady what the problem is and the lady said "we never made it" WHAT?? You never made MY food.. so they say they will make it. I get called up again and they give me the COMPLETE WRONG ITEM! So I tell them that Is NOT my order. After some banter between them they say they will make it. They call my name again and I FINALLY get my food, 30 MINUTES after my friends got theirs. So disappointing. I have been hyping Panera bread up for days and you let me down. It was my friends FIRST time and she had to come into this disgrace. I am appalled she had to have that for her first time. The only thing saving this review from a 1 star was the food. **Very Clean Bathroom Alert** You know, Panera really has hung on for dear life. They really did seem to take the pandemic in stride. In my native mid-Atlantic, they were one of the first appearances of the fast-casual niche, sometime back in the late 1990's. Even still, the St-Louis - based company has since popped up everywhere, slinging their sandwiches, soups and what-have you. My family stopped at this location in transit south from the Georgia mountains. This was a nice stop, honestly. I'm not picky when traveling and the only time I get grumpy is when a well-known chain over-promises. This was not the case here. First, this location is really, really large. The dining room looks to accomodate maybe 150 seated? With the great amount of local business activity, I bet their lunch rush really is something. Second, the bathrooms are really clean here. They smelled nice and were super accomodating. So traveling families, take a hint and stop by if you expect potty breaks. Third, the food was as Panera-ish as ever. I nabbed a Bacon Turkey Bravo, a mainstay on their menu for decades. It was as turkey-ey and tomatoey as ever. My kids each had a nice bagel with cream cheese. Panera will always be one of those "safe" places for me, as far as food goes. There's something for everyone. I stopped by this location one weekday for a late lunch. There's ample parking around the restaurant and plenty of overflow parking available in the shopping center. I was greeted immediately upon entering. The space is clean, open, and naturally bright. Nice, modern interior. Plenty of seating and great for working. There are lots of outlets to plug in your devices as well as semi-private areas to work quietly. My go-to orders are usually the Frontega Chicken Panini $8.59, Modern Greek with Quinoa Salad $9.99, and or Vanilla Cinnamon Roll $2.79. However, at this visit I went with: Half Modern Greek with Quinoa Salad $5.79 Broccoli Cheddar Soup cup $5.19 Cold Brew Madagascar Vanilla Cream $3.49 Chocolate Chip Cookie $.99 (reward) I've never had any issues with the taste or quality of my food at any Panera, including this one. The Frontega chicken panini comes with basil, focaccia, mozzarella, red onions, Chipotle mayonnaise, smoked pulled chicken, salt & pepper, and sliced tomatoes, served warm. Yummy! The modern Greek with quinoa salad is composed of feta, cucumber, kale, almonds, kalamata olives, Greek dressing, quinoa tomato sofrito blend, and romaine lettuce. I sometimes add grilled chicken if I am ordering a whole salad. Love the textures and flavors. The broccoli cheddar soup is rich and creamy with chunks of vegetables. Great flavor. The vanilla cinnamon roll is to die for! Especially when you get it first thing in the morning when it's fresh. Satisfies my sweet tooth everytime! Most of their pastries do. I occasionally get a reward for $0.99 any cookie for using my Panera card, and I get the chocolate chip cookie which is always delicious. The cookies are huge, too. The cold brew coffee was sweet and refreshing. The service during my visit was wonderful. The staff members I encountered were very friendly and helpful! read more

A decent OTP PB. My main reason for dining at PB is to get fast healthy food. This restaurant was acceptable for that. My pictured spicy Thai chicken salad was good and comparable to other PBs. No complaints on the food. Service is slow here. There were folks in line for the lunch hour rush that seemed to be taking a lot of time, so used the kiosk instead. Usually you get a pager at the kiosk that goes off when you order is ready for pickup; but at this location you get a 'hard coded number' you put face up on your table and they bring the food to you. Nice touch. When my order came asked the guy for some jelly, and next thing I know the manager is at my table apologizing and asking me if there is anything else he can do. Seemed like overkill for slight problem, but another nice touch that the manager took the time to stop by. Lots of tables with dirty dishes on them and found out why after eating. Normally at PB you take your dirty dishes to the collection area, but could not find a collection area in this location! So after wandering around for awhile just left my dirty dishes up front. Free wifi. But no morning paper here. Calorie count on all the items on the menu. Enjoy healthy fast food, but good luck finding clean table. FYI: Close to Lake Lanier. I really like Panera. It's sort of my go to when I can't think of anything else to eat. It also reminds me of my grandma as it was one of her favs. Love the chicken and wild rice soup in a bread bowl. Love the tuna sandwich on tomato basil bread. Been sitting in the drive through for 30 + minutes and can't get out. Terrible slow service

I have tried this location twice and they really need to get some hustle on. My mom loves the broccoli cheese soup, so glad to bring her and portions are adequate for Sr citizens. Biggest downfall is service- always slow with just 3 people in line , but nobody seems to like their job. So for a $5.49 for a half small panini with virtually no meat, 3.79 for the soup , drinks are $2.50, chips are free. So for $12 each its a steep price so beware of extra drink cost, service. The pastries are good, soups are good and I've seen large salads I will try next in hopes of more stars. Hate to give 2, but value and wait time killed 2. Will still return if asked and with the crowd of people there , it's shows it has potential to be what we expect in a Panera ! read more

Not impressed with Panera. To begin with, the Parking lot is awkward. In my opinion, its not laid out properly. When you try to park near the front door (waiting on somebody to pull out), you end up blocking the drive thru. Strange setup. Ladies Bathroom - looks like it hasn't been cleaned that often. It was 11:30 the day we came, you can tell by the dust on the sink that it had not been cleaned recently (that dirt doesn't appear overnight). Also, the giant toilet paper roll was not on the holder - thats just tacky. Nobody is apparently monitoring the bathroom. Service - counter service was slow. While i was ordering another employee came to talk to the cashier in the middle of my order, that was odd? Price/Value - I am sorry but $25 for lunch for the both of us seems high for a half sandwich, cup of soup and a fountain drink. I eat out alot at lunch and for $12, i can get a more substantial meal elsewhere. Food - soups arrived warm, not hot. I had the (half) steak sandwich. Way overcooked, same with mom's grilled cheese sandwich - she had to tear off all the crust, it was way to hard. Baguette side bread was good. No Sweet Tea??? - wait a minute, I ordered and paid for 2 sweet teas, however their fountain drink area does not have "brewed" sweet tea. They offer unsweet tea with some "pump" syrup sugar to make the tea sweet! Oh no, how does that work? I have no idea how many pumps make sweet tea. So, a manager was standing there and i asked "how can i get sweet tea?" He said sweet tea is only offered through the drivethru. I have never heard of that before! Thats not normal to me at all. I then ask how manny pumps of this syrup makes sweet tea? He said he didn't know as they brew tea for the drive thru. At this point i was hoping he would say let me get you some from drive thru, but that didn't happen. I tried to make the tea sweet, but couldn't get it right with that syrup. So i was stuck with Sierra Mist that tasted flat. Bummer!! Looks like most of the customers they have are working in their laptops. They do have a nice large dining area. Very disappointing experience, not once, not twice more than 3 times. Everytime we order and make any special request, there is always a miscommunication between the cashier and the person who prepares the order. When we go to collect the food we have to inform that the order is wrong and not done as requested. They not only claim that we dint request but show a lot of attitude followed by an eye rolling. With heavy disgruntled tone they redo the order and literally shove it to us. I really dont want to think this as an race descrimation, but the amount of time this has happened to me especially in cumming store makes me wonder. If they dont want to serve me they as well not take the order instead of mistreating esp when I take my 2 kids. Disappointing there is no manager in charge to even address these issues in store. I used to love Panera Bread, but after my 4th bad experience today, I swear I am not bringing my family here again. read more

Cashier was cutting and preparing bread on the counter next to the cash register. Very unsanitary practice. All the coffee was cold. We asked several times for hot coffee and 15-20 minutes later hot coffee was provided way after me finished our breakfast. There were less the ten customers so there is no excuse. Both restrooms were filthy. Papers everywhere some kind of white stuff by the toilet. The toilets were dirty. Toilet paper wasn't in the holder just sitting there. Trash cans were very dirty. We had the quiche and they were Luke warm. All in all not a pleasant experience. DO NOT go to this Panera. read more

Absolutely the worst experience I've had in a restaurant and I eat out a lot. Ordered the Bacon Avacado melt and it had no avocado on it. Not so bad except there was no one in the kitchen area to address this and had to go to the order desk to try and remedy the situation. AND, I ordered a sandwich to go it was literally a couple slices of ham and a couple of slices of cheese slapped between two pieces of whatever appeared to be day old bread with no mayo no mustard, didn't even cut in half. When I went back to the window the guy who walked up didn't appear to know what to do. Finally a manager walked up and said "kids meal sandwiches come like that". We did not order a kids meal. One of my bosses likes to eat here, so we go fairly often. I've tried many different things on the menu - it's expensive, marginal fare. The portions are extremely small for the price and lack any excitement. The exception would be the cinnamon roll, which is tasty and has a hint of orange.
