Food was fine. Ordering was a ridiculous affair. 7 people in line, 1 inexperienced cashier, 13 minute wait to order - all while manager & asst manager wandered around, seeing the line & doing nothing. 2nd cashier spent 10 minutes reviewing the pastry case for restocking before she decided to take orders. Worst panera bread I have ever seen.Moved from the Midwest and have to say Omaha's panera bread had really high standards .ordered baked potato soup and for French onion ddnt mind that part only my spoon was dirty (yuck) went to ask for a clean one but just couldn't stomach having the soup after being given a dirty spoon to use what else was dirty the bowl they put my soup in who knows. I like panera bread but after this experience will wait and go to the one in Omaha you have lost a customer will be sure to tell all my friends about this. What a disappointment. I like the Panera in Warrenton so decided to have a bite at the Culpeper location. My flatbread sandwich was poorly made and tasteless. The order taker had to look up on his computer what the ingredients were, read them off staring at the screen. My iced mocha took at least seven minutes to make, while my sandwich chilled, and then was poorly made. Most of the tables had crumbs and food scraps on them and the floor was filthy. While eating I heard at least four employees laughing and chatting while having nothing to do. Take a little pride, folks, or your employer will be out of business before long. I ordered a steak and arugula sandwich for rapid pick up and once I got home there was no steak on the sandwich whatsoever. I don't understand how someone can forget the main ingredient when making a sandwich. I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant to pick up the replacement sandwich, but was offered no discount or refund or even a sincere apology for my inconvenience. I go to Panera almost every day. There is a new manager! Chad is doing a great job. I have noticed several changes in operations and staff. Food and service is great!. Chad brings a very professional and personal touch to the Culpeper location. I am so glad to have a Panera in Culpeper! read more

It has great food it is quiet I love it perfect for studying, work , and relaxing I love it the soups are a must if you go there the service is wonderful it's cozy and I love it free wifi and really good food try the broccoli cheese soup and a lovely place to sit outside just don't bring noisy kid if you do sit outside if you can't then inside at the table in the back it's perfect for them or In the middle read more

Awesome place to grab lunch quickly or to take your time and relax. I use the drive thru a lot because of my little ones. Staff has always been kind and helpful. I haven't received anything wrong with my drive thru orders. With it being soup season we are there a lot these days. read more

I have eaten breakfast here three times. The breakfast sandwiches are very good and only cost a little more than those from convenience stores or other fast food chains. The restaurant is always clean, the staff very polite and helpful, and the service very fast. I had never been in a Panera before, now I'm likely to become a regular. read more

They are always out of menu items and they don't seem to care much about anything. Inside, while waiting for food, the kids and young adults who prep the food are always whining, complaining, and talking loudly without concern for the customers standing in front of them. I've contacted local management and corporate about several issues. The only solution I've come to is to stop wasting my money at the Culpeper location--Warrenton is fabulous, though, and I will always go back there. read more

This is the worst Panera ever. I have tried to get a decent meal here multiple times. They are almost always out of multiple dishes. The restaurant is usually dirty. The management is rude when you try to point out an issue. Don't waste your time with this particular Panera. Eat at chick filet next door or head to Charlottesville and go to a good Panera. read more

I went to the Culpeper Panera tonight, March 18 2015, and ordered the Lentil Quinoa Bowl with the CAGE-FREE EGG. When I got home I saw that they had actually put chicken into the soup, which is unacceptable because I am a vegetarian. I made sure to inform the woman at the cash register that I wanted the egg and not the chicken, because I do not eat chicken. I'm not necessarily saying that the woman was at fault, it may have just been a mishap in the cooking, but I am still disappointed. read more

This is the worst Panera Bread I have ever been to. Have only been there twice, going the second time hoping it wouldn't be as bad as the first and it was just a fluke, but not the case. This restaurant is filthy and poorly run. I should have read what other people on Yelp said about this restaurant beforehand. It is nothing like the Warrenton restaurant or many of its counterparts that I have been to and several other states. On this particular occasion Not only was the restaurant dirty again, the women's restroom smelled like urine, and it took a very long time for our very simple order in a near-empty restaurant. I did have an issue with my order and they did try to fix it. Staff really doesn't seem to know what they are doing though. Never going back. Would give it zero Stars if I could. When I get my email from Panera from using my Panera Bread card, I will be sure to let them know as well. read more

Recently used the "rapid order" online for Panera. Entered order at 7 AM for 8AM pickup. Arrived at 8:03,went to get my order but it was not there. After being ignored my the cashier for an additional 5 minutes got her attention. Told her I was here to pickup my order, she said it probably had been picked up by someone else, she went back to cooking area spoke to who I assume was a manager explained my issue. Cashier came out went to register and started ringing up several other customers. Finally I asked where my order was again, oh do you want us to remake it she asks me at 8:20 AM. Still I have not been acknowledged by the manager nor has anyone attempted to rectify the situation. I told young cashier I was going to Starbucks for a drink and expected my order to be completed by the time I returned (10 min) . When I left I called corporate Panera to lodge complaint, surprise this is a franchise Panera and there is nothing they can do but they will notify manager about the issue and assured me I would receive a call. 1 week later still no phone call! When I did return to Panera my order was ready now 8:35 AM , I was given a refund but still no acknowledgement or apology from the manager or cashier on duty. Was treated like it was my fault they let someone take my order before I got there. Needless to say will not be returning anytime soon for everything bagels . read more
