Usually a favorite, but we had dinner last night and a not so good experience. We picked Panera for the soup in the bread bowls and ordered to be told they were out of bread bowls. Very disappointing. Also out of coffee (or problem with the machine). The lettuce in my daughters Caesar salad was wilted and my Napa Chicken Salad sandwich was off tasting. Panera has really gone down hill recently. I used to eat there a lot. Not necessarily this location, but all that I have been to in general. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese and sausage here yesterday. That is all that it was... nothing else. Bread was not fresh at all. Just blah. For this type of place, I was hoping maybe for some lettuce, tomato, sprouts... something. Seriously, the $1.50 fresh biscuit sandwiches at Carl's Jr. blow this $5 sandwich away. $1.50 for an extra 2oz tub of cream cheese for your bagel? Get out! No more Panera for me. If ever in Arizona... try a Wildflower Bread. That is what Panera used to strive to be. read more

We always love to come here for lunch or dinner.... good food, always fresh, and friendly service. But, the tables are never cleared in a timely manner. This leaves customers waiting to find a table. The tables are not wiped down either. I've had to find napkins to do this myself, yuck factor here. I usually bus my own plates, but most others don't bother. When I bus my plates, there is always dirty plates and bowels piled up and messy near the trash can. It should not be up to me to clean a table I want to sit at. It should not be up to me to ask employees to clean a table for me either. There are at least three tables right now that are not cleaned. Employees deliver food to tables and walk right by the dirty ones. PS please sweep up the floor every once in a while. Since I've been writing this, dirty table count has gone up to five! read more

Catering for an office. Don't do it! Been going to the Corona Panera for years (4+) always put in a good order of 8-9 Bagel packs, ordering enough for all my employee's. I decided to order online, then I get a phone call 15 mins later to say they can not complete the full order. At first, it was tough this and nothing they can do so busy with so many orders and oh well, do I want to proceed! The order was to feed 100 people, now it was cut n half to 50 people. I said NO still need to feed 100 people. I asked is there anything we can do to fill in for the missing items they do not have? I got a solution to include pastries. Ok, that is a solution I thought. But my cost went up another $89.00. I told them this is not my fault the order went through on the website and my credit card was charged. The Panera person got the manager to discount the cost, good and nice okay, but still it came out to $11.00 more. Okay, I guess I will go with that. Unfortunately, now they cancel the online order and tells me to redo it! I was out of office and no access to a computer and my phone does not have that web browser capability. I said I can't, why couldn't I pay at the time of delivery the $11.00 and keep the original order going? Why can they not put in a phone order with me on the phone right then? I am on the phone with them! Again they put me on multiple holds, with time ticking away and my phone cut out after 30 mins back n forth. Unknown to me they had already had cancelled the online and original order! I had no idea! and the delivery was next day. Well, that was not coming! Called corporate the next day and all they did was connect me to the girl that took and screwed up my order. Only to have her yell and make excuses how it was not her fault! This is the way they make orders! No ownership, with these people, they are horrible, no management (the manager should go back to mopping floors) and they will put you and your company in a tight spot as they can not think on their feet! they rather, you just go away then make a bad situation turn into something good... Thanks for nothing! At least complete the original order with the person on the phone the 1st time! Do not cancel anything until the situation is fixed and do not do anything by pretending there was NO order, to begin with. Leaving the customer hanging out there! read more

For sandwiches, soups, and great salads - this place hits the spot. I love that I can substitute avocado for meat in the salads, they offer lots of vegetarian options, and there is always someone walking around so you can guarantee that you will have what you need. Coffee is self serve and the desserts (that I have tried) are not really that great, but the quality of the lunch / menu items is awesome - pesto hummus? black bean soup? thai salad? harvest apple salad? oh-holy-yum! I generally get a "Pick 2" plate - you choose two of either a 1/2 salad, 1/2 sandwich, or a bowl of soup. I want more than just one thing - so this is a great deal! It's usually more than I can finish off. Even the items off the kids' menu are great - - and they come with a yogurt (drink is purchased separately). This location is comfy - even when crowded - and relaxing all the time. You can sit and relax after you eat and you never feel like you should be rushing to get out. (: read more

Good food , great service and they got a fast kiosks which was great when i dont have that much time on my lunch break . When I was about ready to leave and I'd ask them about my dishes and where can I return them ,then the girl said "I'll take care of it and have a good day " which I think it nice cuz it was a gloomy day . As I was walking out the door , one of the girl employee came chasing after me as I'd turn around she said "is this your wallet" and I said "Yes, it must fell out as I was having lunch " she save my day . I ordered rapid pick up at 9:40 Took 20 mins to drive out to it Then see that it's not ready when I get there OK probably had a little bit of a back up that's fine I wait 10 minutes that I can see the bag with my name on it being prepared however then they stop putting things together and leave it there I could just wait like maybe they're still putting something OK like whatever 15 minutes go by from the time that I walk through the door to pick it up and it still sitting there so finally I asked how long till that's readyand they say oh we have a problem with it because we only had one of the bagels so we needed to know which one you wanted I walk over there walk back tell them and then it still takes another 30 fucking minutes to just put a goddamn sandwich together while people who had just ordered there are getting there to go orders Plus the lemonade machine was broken and they wouldn't give me a cup so I had to wait after finally getting my food for the employee,whom I felt bad for because he had to keep telling the food preparers to hurry up, to go to the back and get it for me. Just wasted an hour because people obviously can't do their job...I do have to be at work and there's a reason it's supposed to be RAPID pick up. It was cold and dark in there, I ordered the chicken and wild rice soup and an apple with a cinnamon rolls and there was a fucking public hair in my soup.i took it to the shift leader and she made me slide my card to get my money back and I checked my bank account this morning and it wasn't back in my account. I'm never eating from panera. I don't know if they put a pube in my soup on purpose because I wasn't sitting down when the waiter was bringing my soup out and get got mad that he had to walk around or what. Have to say my last two visit, not very satisfying. The panini was hardly toasted, bread was a little doughy, and the turkey seemed like it was just thrown on in a bulky chewy stack. We've eaten here since it opened, but we've noticed over the last 6 months or so the quality of service is slipping. When we order there is almost always something missed or forgotten and employees constantly seem distracted. They are almost always out of Macaroni & Cheese when we come and they almost always seem to have more guests than they have the staff to handle. The food quality is still great, but it's unfortunate how bad the quality of service has gotten. read more

I have been to many different Panera's and this one was ridiculous. I get my usual steak and white cheddar panini and I took a friend that I had been visiting and was embarrassed by the food. The meat in the sandwiches that I recommended was 2 little slivers! Usually they give you a decent amount at a typical chain, but not this one. The quality was very poor. read more

We have always enjoyed sitting outside at Panera, but it is evident they don't maintain cleanliness outside. The tables are filthy and rock and the ground definitely hasn't seen a pressure wash for quite some time. The trash smelled terrible. Hope this issue gets fixed or we will have to take it off of our regular restaurant list. read more

I had there Asiago steak Sandwich, rather fancy Roast beef. Bread was hard, meat had no flavor, there wasn't any spread. Bag of chips were good. I wiped my own table, and for some reason the floor is always dirty there. Maybe because the color of carpet is dark. My wife ordered the panini, no flavor brushed on it, glorified grilled sandwich. I walked in at at 9:05 pm to get a quick bite with my wife only to be told by a rude girl that they closed at 9:00 pm. When she told us we over heard another employee say , are you serious? I think maybe he should have been in charge cause his thinking probably reflected more of the companies thinking then the rude girl who made the call. The shopping center was near a movie theater and there was a lot of foot traffic. It's hard to believe in this economy people leave such employees in charge to make these kind of decisions. For the record I'm more of a service person then a foodie so when reading this keep in mind. We love Panera bread but were really bothered by the mc donald's attitude . Especially when they had all those nice pastries and cookies on display that were probably going into the trash . We tried to give them our money but they wanted to go home instead. Have eaten here many times over the years since it has opened. I have notice a big decline in service and food portions. I have noticed lately that when every I order a full salad I receive a half or less salad in the full to go box. I have noticed orders are wrong from take out or order is missing items. Very rude and unorganized staff. Also I'm not sure their bathroom is cleaned very often which was also off putting. Not a good example of the franchise. The Older woman who works there and always closes all the shades drives me insane. Even on a cloudy day she will close all the shades. I like that this location is larger and has different areas to sit. Like most Paneras, it can fill up. but they have 4 of the electronic ordering stations so if the line is long you can use those to surpass the wait. read more

Went here for dinner tonight 8/8 and wow, worst experience ever! We order and pay and then were told they were out of chips and only had bread. I've read some other reviews about the staff, and I agree that the staff here sucks. First of all, let me say that I LOVE Panera Bread, but not this one. I went here about a month ago and ordered the tortellini and salad. The guy who was supposed to be delivering the food had been in the back asking other employees for Aspirin, and then he went to the bathroom for a good 10 minutes while the rest of the staff talked about how they don't like taking medicine when they get sick. My food was sitting on the counter and I didn't really want to wait for the guy to come back and breathe on my food since obviously he wasn't feeling well, so I went up and got it. My tortellini was cold and I hardly ate any of it. I decided to stop coming to this location because obviously the employees still come to work when they're sick. Yesterday I gave in and really wanted Panera so I figured I'd give them another chance since it's been about a month. I wish I hadn't. The guy at the counter was sniffling and coughing. There was one girl working at the food section to prepare the food and she was talking with the guy who delivers the food (and it was the same guy as last time) and he was saying something about how at least he washes his hands, but the girl doesn't. She didn't say anything to him afterwards, so I assume it's true. And she's the one making the food! Seriously, this place scares me because the workers probably shouldn't be around food. I'd say find another Panera location, because this one isn't that great. read more

I needed a place to finish up some school work and decided to stop here. Whenever I go to Panera I always end up getting the same thing. Creamy Tomato soup in a bread bowl. The food was good, there was nothing wrong nor messed up on. These guys are a quick at serving customers with their orders. Associates are nice and are consistently going around checking on people. Food is fresh, nice associates, and great place to hit the books. read more

Ok seriously, this place is too good for a review. I love how you can sit down and read a book or a magazine over a soup or salad. And its true! You can eat here breakfast, lunch, or dinner and it's always great. They have free wi-fi so I'm always doing work here. My favorite is the Asian sesame chicken salad, it is the best I've ever had. Their paninis are so good too. I've gone to the one in Fullerton by the colleges (which is always a good spot) and the one in Irvine (quaint and quieter) and the one in Orange (not a good spot) and the one in Corona is the best spot cos it's in the Crossings.
