Panera Bread has always been one of my favorite places to order lunch for our office. But on a rainy Tuesday, Door Dash canceled my online order twice. Forcing me to contact Panera directly and pray they were able to accommodate a large lunch order rather quickly. Needless to say, the manager - Evan, hopped on it and saved me from having to find another lunch venue (especially since everyone was expecting Panera). I would give 5 stars, but they're always messing my orders up! I decided to have a salad before work. Went to the cashier and ordered for dine in. Angelique often is the employee I get and seems to always put my order to go! My buzzer goes off and I stand there and wait for 10 minutes. He then tells me someone must have took my salad. He then hands me another one Togo. I politely ask them to put it in a bowl. I had asked for the wontons to be removed upon my order. Panera Bread is like a Starbucks with better food. There happened to be one a few miles from our hotel and we felt eating something a little healthier for dinner (after days of burgers, pizza, fried food, etc.). Plenty of parking at this location due to it being next to a Walmart. I ordered the BBQ Chopped Chicken Salad with a blueberry muffin. I liked it better than the BBQ Chopped Chicken Salad from California Pizza Kitchen. Plus it was less than $8! The sandwiches are delicious as well. I've had the Turkey Bacon Bravo in the past. For less than $8 you can also get a 2 combination of either a cup of soup, 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad. My coworker got chicken noodle soup with 1/2 smoked ham and swiss sandwich. This Panera Bread has a good system where you place an order at the counter and they give you a buzzer that they'll buzz when the food is ready, IF ONLY THEY'D USE IT. So I placed my order and sat down. Half an hour later, the buzzer still hadn't buzzed. I went back to the cashier to inquire as to the status of my order and she told me to check the pickup counter. I was really excited after taking the passport challenge about trying the new flatbread. I tried the Mediterranean Chicken flat bread without the chicken ( because I am vegetarian) and it was one of the most awful meal I ever had. It was dry and the yogurt sauce was very sour, the hummus spread was super dry and it topped with cabbage shaving and few pieces of cucumber. It tasted like rotten yogurt and super dry. This particular location is pretty busy, and although the parking lot is pretty big, it's almost always full, and is prone to accidents. That being said, Panera is just too good to stay away. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and are willing to help with dietary restrictions and allergies. The menu is expansive, with year round staples and seasonal items. I really like the sandwiches and soups, such as the Bacon Turkey Bravo, and the iced teas and lemonades are really yummy! My personal favorite is the Green Tea. It's perfectly sweetened and full of flavor. The Bloody Orange Lemonade is really good too. They are very kid friendly, having a separate kids menu, and high chairs. They have outdoor seating, and are great for groups as well. The bagels are really good, and they have a nice breakfast menu as well. It's really just the perfect place to have a healthy, tasty, relaxed meet up with a friend or family member. They also have a nice rewards program that I recommend signing up for. This Panera location has by far the best service I have received from the chain. The staff is passionate and very knowledge of the menu and always has suggestions. We always get a preview of new menu items that are about to come out. Additionally, some family members have Crohns disease and they are able to eat here which says a great deal about the quality ingredient they have. Keep it up! read more

I've been to this location many times with no issue. It's very busy and usually an overall pleasant experience, regardless. I just called to speak with the mgr. Someone finally answered and hung up before I could say anything? The girl taking ny order spoke way too fast and was not friendly AT ALL, even after I gave her a tip, which usu. warrants a thank you. She did not seem to know the menu. I asked her to tell me what was in the Mediterranean bowl. She rattled off the ingredients too fast. I stopped her and asked her to repeat them, and she went just as fast. We have masks on, and the music overhead really does not help. So of course, my drink order was wrong, even though she read it back to me, bec. she did that too fast, too, even if I told her she was talking too fast. Poor Customer Service - September 21, 2021. Submitted an order to Panera in Columbia at Dobbins CTR. Placed the order via DoorDash. Food was for elderly parents. About five minutes before the order was scheduled for delivery, I received a "your order has been canceled" text. Called the Panera to find out what happened. The phone was answered by a female who had me hold for a male person who was identified as a "manager". The male person assured me that the fault was with Door Dash. He emphasized that the there was no way the restaurant would have cancelled an order without notifying the customer. He provided a number for me to call Door Dash. I called Door Dash and the representative check, saw my order and noted that the system showed that the restaurant had cancelled the order. Sure enough the cancellation took place at the restaurant. The Door Dash rep called the Panera. She spoke with one person and then was told she could speak with Sandra, possibly another manager. Then, according to the Door Dash rep she go hung up on. No food, scramble to get an alternative meal sent, and now I have to wait for the money I have been charged to be returned to my credit card. This wasn't a last minute order! No food and the the Panera representative flat-out lied! Would you eat food from a place that won't admit it made a mistake, or perhaps there was a technical glitch? I was not even angry when I called, I just wanted to know what went wrong. I was prepared to resubmit the order if something had glitches in the ordering process. If something this simple was cause for fabrication, one can only imagine the answers the health department gets during facility inspections at this location. read more

I came in today for some soup directly following an oral surgery as I'm unable to eat anything solid for a while. First of all I ordered "the biggest broccoli cheddar" they have, in hopes that it would last me a couple days. They gave me a large... that is not even close to the biggest it comes. So I get to sit down and eat and realized that I have been equipped with a plastic knife and fork to eat my SOUP with and what looks like it was the very last tiny scrap of bread in the store. Love Panera! This is just like the one in my hometown state of MA. Good to know I can get the same sandwich and soup or bagels while visiting my daughter in MD. It was clean, the cashier was friendly and the food was consistent with any of the other Panera locations I have eaten at. The parking at this location is a bit tough. They have a large lot but it is in a shopping center with Wal Mart and some other stores so a spot is tough to find. read more

I was met with skepticism and told that wasn't really possible. They remade the sandwich with not even a "sorry" OR offering something else's because let's be honest, my appetite is gone now..... We went to this Panera Bread after we could not find seats in Starbucks to sit quietly and do work, and though I was under the impression that I was not a fan of their food from coming once years ago.... Their pastries are nice too, and so are their coffees and smoothies. This location is always clean and plenty of seating. People love to chill in Panera with computers so other places don't have adequate seating for those who want to dine in. Even though it was lunch, the line moved quickly and my salad was up in a snap. Today I tried the new Mediterranean quinoa salad. The dressing was flavorful. One of the dirtiest Panera Breads we have ever been to. The only one hand sanitizer stand by the entryway is always out of sanitizer. The entire store is below standard. Seems like cleanliness is at the bottom of their priority list. The toilets do not have seat covers. The bathroom is generally dirty. Due to the nature of my job and business, I visit Panera Bread often and this location is by far my favorite. It's quiet, quaint and with visitors and staff is very pleasant. One thing that I love about this particular location is the customer service; I mostly visit in the evenings and on weekends and the staff is always ready to greet you when you walk in the door. I typically spend anywhere from 2-4 hours there and I have never felt like I was being rushed to leave. Panera is always consistent food, but they really need to do something about the overwhelming amount of WASTE they create. I got a take out order and they put so many plastic utensils in my bag, I asked them to take the utensils back because I didn't want them, but they refused to (even though I didn't touch them). And then I asked if they at least had a place to recycle they rudely said no. Come on Panera, it's 2019, learn how to recycle and make at least some effort to reduce your waste. read more

Panera - so who needs an office? This is my spot for meetings - any time of the day. All Paneras are fairly convenient, but this one is at a confluence of several major roads, so your team can get there easily. The food is always imaginative and fresh, especially the sandwiches, and they have begun offering fresh fruit in place of the chips at no extra price - a nice touch. They keep ramping up the menu offerings, so consider ordering something other than your favorite for a change. They have plenty of fresh lemon slices to kick-up you diet soda, and there are free-fills, too. The WiFi is free and decently, but not unflaggingly, strong - if you're there when everyone else has their laptops out, you may not be able to ride the signal, and you have to look out for power cords strung across the floor. (I've seen a few people stumble over them, but nobody has hit the ground yet.) But hey, do you want to pay $$$ to connect at Starbucks and have to jockey for the two decent places to sit? Me neither. Plus the chess players aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Everyone I've taken there for the first time has ended up going back with other friends or hosting their own working lunches there, too. Their fresh bread is a knock-out, so grab a loaf to bring home or take with you to dinner as a thank you gift to your hostess/host. Holy moly, is this a busy Panera!! The parking lot is even busier!!! We went on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm. Who knew Panera's the place to be? The staff at the counter are very nice and helpful and the food came out pretty quickly, considering how packed it was. I ordered the Cobb salad, which I know isn't that exciting. The lettuce was crisp and there were generous portions of chicken, avocados, bacon, blue cheese, and a hard boiled egg in a huge bowl.
