I got the lentil soup which hit the spot, but their turkey cranberry sandwich was the clear winner for me. The soft melty Brie paired wonderfully with the sweet tang of the cranberry relish. Close to being a Thanksgiving sandwich but not quite. On the way out I noticed their little bakery/pastry case downstairs- I grabbed a jar of their blueberry rhubarb jam. Here's the cool thing - once done with the jam jar you can bring it back and get a refill of another jam (just paying for the cost of the jam). I'd recommend Atwater's for a nice laidback lunch or brunch option- very spacious and clean, with great service.

Perfect cheese, to sauce to dough ratio. The wings however were a little bleh. They appeared breaded which I didn't care for a the buffalo sauce wasn't very hot let alone mild. It was pretty bland. But the chicken was fried all the way through and hard which was good. I also ordered on a Monday so the cost was very friendly, I will say tho for how bland a the wings were I wish they were a little cheaper. $20 fo 12 barely buffalo wings is a lot.

An interesting place clearly inspired by the various cuisines of the Spanish-speaking world. I…read morewould not call any of this place traditional Mexican, Salvadoran, Spanish, etc. but a lot of the food is reminiscent of those cuisines. You walk in and there's a counter, a few tables, and a fridge with some to-go desserts. Several folks were standing waiting for a to-go order. We dined in, so we walked down the narrow hallway to the back room full of booths and tables. With lots of art for sale on the walls, it's got a nice cozy vibe going on. We were there on the later end on a random Tuesday, so we were the only people there. Our waiter brought us a basket of chips and salsa and after looking over the menu, I took his suggestion to get the paella. Their paella is not a traditional paella valenciana by any stretch, but it's sort of a cross between that and a jambalaya: rice-based with shrimp, chicken, and sausage, pleasantly spicy with some veggies thrown in too. While I originally balked at the price ($28 as of this writing), it was dinner and then two more meals when I took it home; it's easily 2-3 servings, making that price less daunting. My wife got the Tapas Platter, which was a great way to sample the variety of appetizers. A tasty chicken tamal, some spinach empanada (which had a kind of "meh" dough), a cheesy pupusa, and a salchipapa (potato stuffed with ground sausage and cheese) which my wife went mad for. There is a kids menu and Child #1 opted for a cheese quesadilla which seemed standard and Child #2 opted for a burger and fries which was pretty big for a kids meal, but I'm not complaining! BYOB - they even have a sign encouraging folks to go a few doors down to the liquor store if customers want to bring something in. The service wasn't very fast, but it wasn't bad. The food was decent, but it does seem a bit streamlined, so don't come here for a big variety of street tacos or the whole gamut of pupusas. That said, it was an overall solid dining experience.

You order, put the number on the table, eat, and go. The food comes out surprisingly fast. The ingredients just taste fresh and clean. Not overly salted. It's simple food, but done right. I was surprised how much I liked the place. It's not a place you would travel to go eat. It's a place that if you're in the area and need breakfast and brunch, you can't go wrong. I recommend checking this place out.

The entire staff was not only friendly but extremely helpful. Portion sizes were great, the food tasted amazing but it is a bit pricy. The young lady who answered phone was very pleasant and gave me an accurate pick up time. Walking in establishment... nice clean open space. There was a gentleman to my left who spoke followed by young lady speaking from counter. I paid for order and excitedly got my camera phone out to take food pics. Couldn't wait to get home to taste my food. Oh, I ordered a Catfish Platter w Plain Tater Tots and Sweet Potatoes and 7 Piece Old Bay Wings. The catfish was perfectly seasoned, tater tots were fresh, sweet potatoes were ok. Just ok. They were minced. That was a different texture. The Old Bay Wings were HONEY Old Bay. I absolutely HATE honey on my wings. I've never ordered them. I tasted one since I paid for them but nah. I live too far to call for new order and was more less just disappointed. I dumped the remaining 6 wings and concentrated on my fish. With the great customer service experienced, I'm confident this establishment would have righted the wrong of the wing order but it's all good. Get out and visit yall !!

The order had to be placed online for pickup. I tried earlier, but the store showed as a corporate location for some reason. After a bit of research, I found out it was an actual store. I parked, placed my order from the car, and made sure to customize it because I do not eat pork. I added extra tomatoes and left out ham. I also ordered one for my son. The pickup time was about fifteen to twenty minutes later. I went inside to let them know I had just placed an order. The store was empty except for staff. A young woman greeted me and said she was working on the sandwiches. I waited, spoke briefly with another employee, and looked around. Soon, my order was ready. The young woman told me the sandwich with extra tomatoes was on top. I thought she might also mention no ham, but she did not. I checked the bag before leaving, opened the one she pointed out, and thought it looked right. I tied the bag back up and left. At home, I planned to give one sandwich to my son and save mine for lunch the next day. I was a little hungry and decided to take a bite. Before I did, I checked again because both sandwiches looked exactly the same. That is when I saw they both had ham. I was upset. I checked the time, saw the store was still open, and called. The phone rang for a long time, but someone finally answered. I explained what happened. He asked if I had the receipt, but there was none in the bag. I gave him my name, and he found my receipt still in the store. He read it out loud and said it only showed extra tomatoes, not no ham. I checked my account and saw he was right. Somehow, the no ham request had not saved. I told him I was confused because I was sure I had deselected ham. He said it was not their fault and they could not fix it. I asked to speak to the manager. He talked to someone in another language and came back saying the manager said the same thing. They would make a new sandwich if I paid again. That was disappointing. The manager refused to get on the phone and I was "oh welled". I thought this could be a regular spot since it is so close and clean inside. But maybe it is for the best. The food is not great for me anyway. I do not know what went wrong with the order. I even tried to recreate it, but the promo code seemed to affect the options although it did allow for customization. Maybe it was meant to be. Yes, maybe the mistake was on my end. But I know I tried to remove the ham. Either way, I do not need processed meat in my life. I will take this as a win. Will I go back? No, and that is okay. The food is not good for me anyway. Also, what was I doing eating a sandwich after 8 anyway? Get it together ma'am! A star for the store being clean, the young lady being pleasant, and the quickness I received my order.

Loud pop music greets you as you walk in. Zauq is to the right. It seemed like a lot of folks were picking up classic American fare: wings, onion rings, other chicken dishes, but I was coming for some Halal food. I got a large rice platter with mixed chicken and lamb. The shredded chicken was okay; could have used more seasoning or something, but that's why they give you white and/or red sauce. The lamb was basically cubed gyro meat, which I enjoyed; I would get a platter of just this next time. You can add as many toppings as you'd like, including onion, lettuce, tomato, chickpeas, pickles, and hot peppers. Make it what you want. For $9.99 (as of 2025), that's a bargain for the amount of food you get. Overall it tasted pretty good. I think if I come back I'm going to try out the falafel and/or the fried chicken sandwiches. The folks are friendly and fast. The whole place, staff and clientele, seemed to be a melting pot of every ethnic group imaginable - Woodlawn baby, gotta love it. There's a Shahada posted above the counter in both Arabic and English, but the food is for everyone and I'm here to say, it's solid. You won't be disappointed.

I, also, enjoyed their fried chicken sandwich which was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with great seasoning throughout! Something you must try here at least once is their po' boy sandwiches. The bread they use is phenomenal, didn't get soggy at all despite all the sauce on it!! Something to know beforehand is their smash burgers are only served on Friday and Saturday. It was very worth the hype! Service was another highlight. They truly deliver on serving massive portions, packed with flavor, and delicious consistency. Even though it's a mostly carry-out spot, everything came out very fresh, hot, and you could taste their signature bold seasoning in every bite!
