I'm a sucker for the green goddess salad at Panera, and the many drink options! The pick two is my favorite when I can't decide on something. They often make mistakes at this location and get the order wrong, but they correct it if you let them know at least. This location is quick and clean!

Here how I got my sourdough bread sliced and bagged today! Please teach your employees importance of customer care!

Arrived to pick up a large order for a work meeting at 7am on a Friday and found a homemade note on the door posting new hours. Your website still notates a 7am opening, but your homemade note states 8am. How frustrating and terrible business!

Achoo! Excuse me. It seems every time I come to Panera, I have a cold. The wife and I love the Big Kid or Fontina grilled cheese sandwich along with some of their delicious tomato soup. Nothing warms us up better than the soup- in a bread bowl- or not. Either way, delicious. I have most recently discovered their breakfast menu and am currently going on the tour for those options. The Burnsville location has one downside and that is parking. It sucks. It's not their fault though, it's mostly the ninja mall customers parking to sneak into Dick's sporting goods. The store is always clean and the staff is always friendly. Service speeds tend to be a bit slow here so you will find yourself meandering by the fountain drink station waiting for your food. This is the case mostly with to-go orders. If you're eating in-store, they give you a buzzer to hold onto at a table of your choice. Overall it's a valid noms option if you're in the Burnsville Center area and you're trying to avoid Applebee's (as you really should). Their sandwiches are delicious, pastries are delicious and of course, their bread. Stop by for breakfast especially and some grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup if you're under the weather!

I was unfortunately disappointed with my visit to the Burnsville Panera. I am an avid visitor and love to get their Mac and cheese. Today I was given something that resembled their signature dish, but was not the smooth, creamy white sauce. The dish was cold, clumpy cheese and I ended up throwing over half of it away. Normally I would brush this off as a one time thing, but has happened to me once before at this Panera and this location only. I would rather have gone to Target to get the Mac and cheese the in refrigerated section for a lower price than stop in today. I will still continue to visit this location while close by, but will choose another when convenient.

Latest 'tiny' sandwich from Panera. Was told this is the 'standard' amount of meat so it was made correctly.

Pleasant environment with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and very nice, thoughtful service. Prices are above average, particularly my $21 Classic Eggs Benedict. It came with potatoes which tasted nice and had a very "we just yanked these potatoes from the dirt" texture, if that makes sense. The Hollandaise sauce could have used more flavor, and I could maybe say the same about my Pollinator Latte. The thing is, though, what you're getting here is a very conscientious attention to food sensitivities and ethical sourcing. This is VERY much a place for people with dietary challenges. Vegan and gluten-free options are abundant, and indeed everything is dairy-free "by default". I don't have any food allergies but I trust that they are prepared to thoroughly disclose any relevant information and make personal adjustments. Again, I'm just assuming that but they are clearly hanging their hat on this virtue, far more than competing restaurants with similar fare.

The space was clean, bright, and welcoming! You can tell they spent some intentional time and money upgrading the space to fit the vibe! I hope this spot helps encourage others to invest in Burnsville Center! Service was quick and friendly throughout. The only piece of constructive feedback I had was that all of the food came out at the same time, not necessarily coursed out with starters then entrees. The food was great though! Started out with the corndog and dumplings! Both were solid, although it should be noted that corndog didn't have a hot dog inside, just cheese ;) the real stars were the chicken wings, which had a deliciously crispy outside and tender inside, with their tasty sesame sauce drizzled on top! I'd come back just for those wings again and again! I also had the Chicken Katsu, which was a sizeable portion, perfectly crispy, and heavily drizzled with spicy mayo! Top notch addition and a must try!!

If you sit down the vibes of the restaurant are nice too. Very clean. The chicken is some of the best I've had. It's so crunchy and delicious. The corn dog is great too, it's all cheese (no meat). Their seasoned fries are amazing too. Prices are fine. Not great but also not terrible. If you get the corndog, I recommend asking for sauce on the side and getting it plain. It can get a bit soggy with sauce on it. This place is definitely better as a sitdown restaurant than to-go. It would be hard for them to fix this, but if you get to-go, the chicken can get a bit soggy the longer it sits in your car for. They seem to try to prevent this by giving you a to-go container with holes in it, that helps a bit. You might be able to alleviate this by getting the chicken plain and asking for sauce on the side. Also, they didn't include silverware for my coleslaw. Which usually isn't an issue, but in this case I wanted to eat in my car so I didn't have anything to use. Overall, it's probably best to not just throw silverware in since people are usually just taking it home, but just something to note. They also didn't include napkins. My friends have been here and they agree with me on this next part. They could use some more sauce options. They only seem to have 3 versions. The Soy Garlic is fine. Nothing to write home about. The Danmae is my personal favorite but it's also really not great. Not spicy either, even though it's rated at a level one spice. The "Spicy" sauce finally adds some heat but it's not very good. Overall, I not only wish the sauces were better, I wish they had about double the options. Only having three is disappointing. When I arrived for my to-go order, I was well ahead of the scheduled pick-up time. They were nice about this and seemed to get my order going. I expected to wait a long time. I only had to wait maybe five minutes, and it was ready six minutes ahead of schedule. That was nice! They are passing the Credit Card fee onto the consumer. Due to this, and the lack of sauce options/poor sauce flavors, I'm giving them 4 starts. If they add more sauce options and get rid of the CC fee (just increase your dang menu prices a few cents or a dollar or something), it would be an easy 5 starts place.
