The interior is a good set up but not for sitting and using your laptop because it is not actually set for that. Some of the seats are decent but none were very relaxing. The server seemed not like a server at all so the vibe started off pretty blah. The simple muffin I grabbed and the simple black coffee I got was not disgusting but they both were super plain with almost zero taste. This is one of my favorite Panera's. Very spacious dining room with lots of comfy seating. This one was designed very well. On this visit there were lots of people there on a Saturday morning working on laptops, studying, etc. I ordered a scone and a bagel with butter to go for my friend. Everything was done just as I asked. Wait was short and I enjoyed just sitting there eating and waiting for my friend to pick me up. Great spot to meet up. I purchased food through the Panera app. When I got there to pick up the food, they didn't have the order prepared correctly. I ordered 2 whole sandwiches, and I was given two halves. I spoke to a lady who I believed to be the manager, and she wasn't too helpful. She told me "the app is wrong and labeled incorrectly", as if that's supposed to be a problem for me to figure out. She wouldn't honor what was on the app and offered to prepare me an additional sandwich (at full price of course). I took what I had and left. Corporate was able to resolve my concerns and is investigating the issue for the app. I would not go back to this location after that experience. read more

This Panera Bread is crazy, I have never seen one like it. I guess it has recently been renovated. It looks nothing like a normal Panera Bread (not sure if they all are switching over to this style). Stopped by for what I thought would be a quick lunch (I only get an hour). When I arrived there was a couple ordering and a couple in front of me. Soon, a line formed behind me and out the door. The older gentleman behind the register taking orders insisted on taking his time and playing "20 Questions" with each person ordering. By the time I got up to the register to order, I knew what I wanted: "This is for here. I would like a Baja Bowl with chicken, a regular tea, and two plain croissants "To Go". The man got flustered and said something to the effect. "I need to ask these questions", so we started over. "What would you like?" "Do you want chicken on that?" "What would you like to drink?" "Would you like something from the pastry shelf?" "Do you have a rewards number?" "You wanted those croissants "To Go"?" By the time I got my order and ate it, I had 15 minutes to get back to work. I've been pleased with the quality of the food and service at this Panera location. I've visited this morning and I was greeted and served by one of the managers, who was very on top of his game. For lunch, I usually have the green goddess Cobb salad with chicken added. The green goddess dressing is simply amazing. I also stop in on a semi-regular basis to pick up a bag of bagels to take out to various doctors offices for my job. Staffers are always excited to see me coming with a Panera bag. The bagel pack includes 13 bagels of your choice and cream cheese. They also offer a slicing service, or you can take them home whole. It's a great way to make an office happy. Overall, this location is doing a great job. The service is quick, the food is good and the restaurant is clean. read more

Just walked out of here after ordering an ice coffee. My coffee was so light you could see through it. When I pointed this out to the dude in the order pick up area his just laughed and said "it's good, we just made it. You just got more water than you are used to". Love Panera Bread and was excited to see this one near the hotel I was lodging at. This location is located in the summit which is right near the highway. The inside is nice as it is one of the modern Panera concepts with the bright lighting, wood decor, and nice size patio seating. One of my favorite breakfast items to order is the spinach artichoke soufflé and while placing the order, the cashier made me aware that they were already out at 7:30 a.m. Disappointed, I asked if more were baking in the oven. Luckily, there were and she told me it would be 14 minutes for a fresh one. I didn't mind the wait as they taste the best when fresh anyway so I sipped on some coffee during the delay. My only negative feedback is the male employee working on the kitchen line that I observed tucking in his shirt and getting something from his pockets with gloves hands and then he proceeded to continue prepping food failing to wash his hands and put on new gloves. It's baffling that even in the midst of living through this coronavirus pandemic, people still don't seem to understand the importance of proper hand washing. read more

Last time we'll come here. We arrived 2 hours before closing and had to search for someone to take our order. She couldn't have been less excited to be at work. Didn't ask if we wanted bread or chips with our meal. Didn't give us a beeper/buzzer so we'd know when our food was ready. I was watching the guy making orders from where I was sitting and saw our order be placed in the window by the cook. He then proceeded to mumble/whisper a name and went back to making orders. I went to get our food and asked who it was for and he said "Oh it's Michelle or Michael. I replied it's for Michael but I never heard you call a name. He then proceeded to tell it was ok! Oh is it? In his mind I guess I was somehow apologizing to him? I then watched the girl who took our order pull trash, without gloves, and then begin to work with the fountain drinks. She left 3 bags of trash out in the floor while she went to the back. Finally, there was no coffee out at 7:15pm and the floors in the dining area were quite dirty. read more

I love Panera! Pretty much everything on their menu is absolutely delicious. It's hard to go wrong. Today, I went with a toasted sesame bagel with butter. So yummy! But, and this is going to sound petty, the butter pats were rock hard, and the bagel wasn't really hot enough to melt them easily, so spreading my butter was a chore. It's the little things!!! This Panera is pretty darn good. The menu has a broad variety of bakery stuff, soups, salads and sandwiches. This location has been remodeled and is very clean & well kept. Food quality is very good. This restaurant also has tablets for ordering. This has been a GREAT addition to the store. It's improved speed of service greatly, and lets you review the "customization" of your items that seemed to frequently get messed up when ordering thru a human. No offense to humans. I went to Panera on my break from work, and they were so accommodating. They made my order come out earlier to get me back to work on time, and the food was fantastic. I ordered for pick-up, and I especially enjoy the option to include utensils (saves plastic if you don't actually need/use them). I also appreciated the paper bag and the recyclable plastic. They were great with the COVID precautions-everyone wore gloves and masks properly while handling food. I ordered a Greek salad and a chipotle bacon melt, and enjoyed every bite. I've been to this location several times. The food is decent. I had the tomato soup and salad. Nothing fancy. The service is always just okay here. I don't think the people working the registers realize how overwhelming the menu can be sometimes, especially when you're trying to navigate it with dietary restrictions. Rather than offer suggestions they just kind of give you this bored "any day now" look. As for the dining area, it's rarely ever clean. I usually contribute this to fast table turnover that doesn't allow the staff time to properly clean in between customers. But on this particular visit, it was early evening and the place was pretty empty. Dirty, empty tables stayed dirty and empty. I couldn't even find a clean booth to sit in, so I had to take a table by the window with no outlet. Nevertheless, the wifi is strong and the location is convenient for when I happen to be on that side of town, so I'll probably be back. I will just be sure to peruse the menu carefully before I get in line. And hopefully there will be a clean table for me by the time I get my order. read more

You can always expect menu from Panera to Panera being the same,however, this location is one of my favorites to go to Nestled in the hustle bustle of 280 is this place. With traffic it can be a little tough to get to but each time I've come here the customer service has always been friendly no matter what kind of day it is The salads are pretty good but I really enjoy the soup the most... particularly the French onion. I'm also happy to see that if you don't want bread or chips they offer an apple with no additional charge. I'm a huge fan of the pick 2 option at any time of day not just lunch. You can get a salad,sandwich, or soup. They give you a buzzer when your food is ready. I like this option because it's much nicer than hearing people holler while I am trying to enjoy my meal. The reason this location is one of my favorites is because of the nice open feel it has to it. Plenty of windows and when you sit beside them they must be well insulated because I don't feel any cold air blowing in. read more

If you are are in the Barnes & Noble side of the centre, you went too far so turn around and come down the hill. The address as entered on the Yelp app is TOTALLY WRONG and sent me to the California Pizza Kitchen further up the hill. So yeah, listen to Daniel L. and not the Yelp app. Panera - it is the same everywhere. Pretty good food, pretty friendly cashiers. It will not rock your socks off but it is a pretty great, neutral meeting spot for business or whatever else you need to take care of. This review was mostly targeted for travelers who input directions from the Yelp app for the nav, circle around for 20 minutes and discover it is WRONG and then frantically try and figure out WTF just happened. read more

All I have to say is this place is all about Frank, Frank, Frank! In town unexpectedly and desperately needed coffee. His positive, extremely friendly, enthusiastic demeanor was so refreshing! It keeps me coming back! On day 1, I was so surprised at how pleasant he was. He played it down and told me it was just his job. By day 3, I realized it's his true nature. As someone who values service more than price (still a resonably priced establishment!) I can tell he's just happy, genuine, takes pride in helping customers, and goes out of his way to make sure each persons experience with Panera is great. Could not tell you his position in the organization, but I would do everything possible to hold onto him tightly! read more

Since the last time I've been to The Summit location they have updated the look of the restaurant. It now has a very warm & homey atmosphere to it. The one thing I noticed was there was a little confusion as where to order your food. The group I was with all went and ordered from a few iPad touchscreens, while I noticed a cash register & I essentially jumped in front of the whole group that was ordering because they didn't notice the cashier. Once you order your food they give you a "buzzer" with a number on it, but the employees all just walked around the whole restaurant looking for who ever ordered that plate of food. read more

I came in tonight around 845 and asked for a steak and white cheddar panini... this sandwich is half warm half melted cheese little to no steak whatsoever and drowned in some type of disgusting topping. I've never had an issue like this at any other Panera . I have the flu and just wanted a nice warm good tasting sandwich, but I guess I must've asked for garbage on bread. Oh and I forgot to mention the big stares from the cashier when the card reader asks for a tip. I used to eat at Panera literally BREAKFAST, LUNCH, and DINNER!!! Let me tell you about my love affair I had with Panera! It was AMAZING!!!!! Unfortunately it's all past tense. That was when the quality was exceptional and the prices were great compared to the quality of food that you received. Treats were only 99 cents when you bought a meal which didn't exceed $10 for $10 worth of food, and you were awarded for eating there with exceptional rewards which didn't take 2 years to obtain (Panera rewards program plug). However, now you the same amount of food as you did by when but the price has gone up tremendously but the quality of the food has dropped tremendously as well. I get it TRUST ME, prices are going to go up, HOWEVER, the quality of the food shouldn't suffer. To make it worst the rewards program has even declined. You have to visit Panera so many times (and make purchases of course) before you're able to get a treat. Which usually turns out to be $1 off drink or whatever. First, the way you're prices are set up now I'm drinking water and $1 off my $15 meal seems insignificant especially when I had to spend at least $50 ($10* 5 trips= $50... I'm being nice with $10) to get that reward. Ugh, I genuinely love Panera. I really do and want to get back to love affair, but something has to change. I refuse to pay $15 for 1/4 of a sandwich and 1/2 of a salad that was just slapped together and still leaves me blah. UGHHHHH..... read more

I've completed a rapid order at this location as well as a regular pickup and both have been easy and efficient processes. It's a little difficult to find, located in the bottom part of the Summit near Sur La Table. The employees are always super nice and very quick! Although I've never actually sat down to have a meal, the dining room looks clean and the bathrooms are pristine. read more
