2 stars because this place was nice and clean and staff were friendly. However, over priced for what you get. The sandwiches are tiny and packed with more tomatoes and lettuce than any meat, the bacon Mac and cheese had no bacon and the cheese was watery with no flavor. I ordered more than one sandwich and none of them were marked to tell the difference. No utensils or napkins to eat my Mac and cheese and salad. Salad was ok as it was fresh but extremely tiny as well. Very surprised for what you get here with the price you pay. If you want a light non greasy "snack" , come here. Food wasn't worth the price, Service was is as worse as it can be but I can imagine it can get worse. There was an ambiance of bad attitude and it felt like all the workers hate their job. Soup bowls were poured into the bowls a mess, salad looked old and French bread used for the sandwich was hard. Did a to go order and it was wrong and I had to drive back to get it fixed. Jacob was very kind & I appreciate that he took his time to explain the charged lemonades because I was a bit confused about the amount of caffeine they had. I came in when no one else was ordering. There was one guy in the counter. My husband and I had a horrible experience today at the Panera's in Beaumont. I am a 68 yr old woman and my husband is 72. I have trouble walking so for me to have to get up and keep trying to get help isn't easy. We asked for our dirty table to be cleaned 3 times...which meant I had to keep getting up to try and get a clean table to eat at. Even if I could get around easily I shouldn't have to ask 3 times. I looked for another table but all of them were dirty. When we finally got someone there to wipe it off she had nothing but excuses as to why she didn't do it. I told her if I pay your prices I expect a clean table without having to beg for it. She yelled at me. Then a customer across from us started yelling at me too and calling me very nasty cuss word names. Wow. Then the person that wiped our table catered to them...bringing them their food and such when no one gets that special treatment. I have never had anything like this happen anywhere else. I don't know what the peoples problem here is. I don't know if they don't know how to read or if they're just dumb. We have come here five times in a row and five times in a row. Only my sandwich gets messed up one time it took them three times to get it, right. So we decided to go to the Yucaipa one and haven't had one issue. But we were doing some shopping over here in the area and decided to give them a try again once again, they don't know how to read or are just dumb. They still cannot get my order, right. My husband's order is always right and his order is modified just like mine. I don't know if they have my name tagged in the computer or something but they are completely ridiculous. If I could give it a zero star, I would definitely be doing that. Good luck with your order if you go there. The manager has been very kind throughout this, but it just is ridiculous that they cannot read a ticket that clearly says what my order is and it never changes. Thankful that they're in the neighborhood. I'm a beverage member and the ice tea is always great. The employees work hard here. I sometimes get the chicken noodle soup which is great. Had a scone a few times was good too. I come in daily practically. It really a 3.5 star for me but i give 5 because their reviews have been beaten down and the only place is what it's meant to be. read more

I went there yesterday, I usually use the kiosk to order my phone because I hate taking forever with the employees, so I think the kiosk is more efficient. I always order the Soboba Noodle bowl with an extra baguette roll, it's so good. Service is fast, employees are quick and they're always polite. I LOVE BRIAN !! He usually works the drive thru every morning. At least when I go. He really knows how to finesse his words to make it seem like he knows you. But none the less, he gives great customer service and now that we are somewhat on a first name basis I could tell him give me the usual and he knows exactly what I want - super funny. I recently placed 2 catering orders for 2 different occasions. The first was for 40 people. I ordered breakfast sandwiches and souffles. The sandwiches were boxed individually but none of them were labeled and it was a guessing game for my guests. The souffles were very good, but the sandwiches left something to be desired. They were assembled so haphazardly I was embarrassed to serve them to my guests. The bagels were cut so wonky they had to be recut to fit into the toaster. When you are hosting a party the last thing you want to worry about are those little tedious things that you paid other people to take care of. I had a brunch baby shower a couple of years ago and we used the Panera in Rancho Cucamonga and they did an AMAZING job. I thought I would receive the same excellence here in Beaumont, but I was sadly disappointed. I thought maybe they were having an off morning the day of this party and actually after reassembling the sandwiches they did have good flavor. We decided to give them another shot. This time it was a much smaller order for only 11 people. You would think it being a smaller order it would have gone better. Nope. The sandwiches were barely wrapped in a paper sleeve and carelessly thrown into a paper bag. Each sandwich that wasnt falling out of it's wrapper had to be opened to determine what it was. I don't know about you, but eating a sandwich that other people have already touched and poked isn't very appealing. The souffles were burnt and again thrown in a box on top of each other. The pastry ring was a little stale and seemed like it had been sitting on the shelf for awhile. I got to Panera at the beginning of my timeslot and was still waiting for it well after it. Very disheartening... you can imagine the level of disappointment when I actually saw what my order looked like. The three stars are for the staff and the cleanliness of the location. Even though it did not seem like they really had it together, everyone I interacted with was very polite and apologetic. I probably will not be ordering from this location again, and that makes me sad because it is the only one in my area so that means no Panera for awhile until I drive to another city to get it. read more

My daughter and I stopped by Panera at my suggestion because my daughter had not eaten all day and she is not a fast food fan( a fitness competitor), but I thought there would be a healthy option here for her. She ordered a chicken sandwich. At the window to pay the young man informed us that they were out of the cheese that usually comes on that sandwich. He asked if she wanted a different cheese. She told him she was fine with no cheese. We get home and she opens her chicken sandwich to see that not only was there no cheese, but no chicken either on her chicken sandwich! Only lettuce and 2 pieces of avocado. She called the location for a reverse charge on her card but was told they could not do it. Her only option was to return. Living in Redlands she was not going to drive back to Beaumont. Sadly I am finding such a lack in care and service at many places. Eating at home a better option. This Panera is just.. Different.. I've been here a couple of times, once when it was pretty new and recently where I would have expected issues to be worked out. I find the area where you order, difficult. By difficult I mean there is a large bakery case there, and I feel like I am yelling my order. With the commotion back where the workers are and the in the dining area, it gets loud. And when you are trying to stand on your tippy toes to give an order with a giant glass case in front of you, it doesn't really work. I have been to a few different Panera's, and for order in, the food it normally brought to your table. It's not done like that here. Which is fine, just different and not consistent with other Panera's. Twice I have seen the same gentleman doing orders, and both times he is kind of grouchy. It is truly sad how Panera was once an Artisan restaurant. This is no longer the case. They used to have several employees working, to bring your food, clean everything. Well Panera decided they no longer do this. You walk in and it's dirty everywhere. You have to clean off the counter to get a drink, you have to wipe off every table and chair of food (this has been the case multiple times) I even flagged down an employee to say hey shouldn't this be addressed all sticky old food that's dried up (after bringing how nasty the drink area was around and she agreed... nothing was done about it) and when your done your an employee for them and you have to separate everything and nicely put their dishes away. Well no one does this do the whole area is a complete mess. What happened here!!!!!! Why is my favorite place Healthy place terrible now. I mean if the front is so nasty and old food from other people left to rot. I absolutely wonder what the back looks like????? I am a regular at the Beaumont Panera drive through. I don't try to get sandwiches, but have been quite satisfied with their soup/salad combos. I'm clear about what I order, but admittedly don't check the entire order so that I don't hold up others in line. Well, I'll now check everything from here on, irrespective of the time that will take. I can overlook not including the butter I ask for or even extra dressing (the amount they give you is pretty minimal), however this was another time where the order was missing three side items. I took it all home and wanted to eat it while it was still hot. I took the time to call - had the receipt/order number handy, and was interested in a bit of a credit. Lots of places will have you write down the employee/manager's name and when you come back they give you an accommodation. This one did another time...I guess that is no longer the case. I didn't expect them to replace the entire order, but some kind of % off/a free cookie...whatever would indicate an interest in making good on their error - basically a good will gesture. I know that taking orders this way can't be easy, however be willing to consider customer satisfaction. It says on the bottom of the receipt "accuracy matters"...so, does that mean it falls upon the patrons to take their time to return, interrupt their meal time, and hopefully receive a willingness on the part of the staff to correct mistake(s)? You know Bombas Socks has a great service philosophy - yes, you pay a premium for their products, but they are right on it if something goes wrong. I'll be a customer of theirs for as long as they remain in business. I totally believe in supporting our local establishments, and being patient with young employees - however I do believe you should do your part to help retain customers like me. It was supposed to be a chipotle chicken sandwich with Avocado. What I got, as you can see in the picture, was 2 sandwiches, 1 with the avocado plastered to some melted cheese and the other with about a tablespoon, or less of dry chicken. The worst Panera I have ever been too. They made a mistake on my order and gave it to someone else. Instead of owning it the blames everyone else. Than to top it off the we're out of the bagel I wanted. Of course after waiting 15 minutes I was irritated. The manager deflected blame and offered me a pastry. Horrible service, There was a misunderstanding with my order. I misunderstood the cashier asking me if it's to go. I thought she was asking about the pastry not the rest of the order. So I said, to go to that. Then, I waited for my name to be called but 15 minutes passed so I went to the station and asked for my order. They had it ready to go and had to change it to dine in which they are not happy about doing extra work. My coworker found an insect in his salad and it was alive. There's obviously a problem with this Panera and it's clear that their kitchen is disgusting!!!! So I've been to SEVERAL Panera restaurants in my day and have received basic, average friendly service. This afternoon I visited the one in Beaumont and was immediately greeted by the super friendly and energetic Steven. He had a smile on his face and was ready to assist us in determining which hot sandwich we wanted to share. We went with the bacon turkey and a full Southwest chicken salad to share. He personally delivered the meal to our table and stated "If there is any thing else I can do for you ladies, just let me know and I'll be happy to help". The restaurant was very light and open, tables were clean and drink area was orderly. You could tell that the employees got along well by their light hearted banter. Sandwich was ok, their bread is so delicious that it's the star of any sandwich. The salad was good & fresh, and the creamy ceasar dressing helped bring some flavor. I will be back for their classic soups once the cold weather returns to blowing Beaumont. read more
