I have never been to a dirtier Panera. 5pm before the "dinner rush" and the restaurant was a mess. I saw no manager, if I would have I would have let him/her know that there was dirty underwear in the ladies room along with about a roll of toilet paper everywhere. The men's room my children told me there was fecal matter all over one of the toilet seats. The dining room had food particles and crumbs all over like it hadn't been cleaned the entire day. I expect a certain standard at Panera and this did not meet it one bit. The food was good once we got it, even the employees seemed to be doing just the bare minimum. Half our meal was ready then it just sat and sat while they moved onto the curbside orders and everyone else's orders. Finally had to gently remind them I was patiently waiting for the other half of our meals. read more

check your order before you leave...i ordered a turkey avocado blt and when i got home, i had a $12 blt, no turkey, no avocado. better for the waistline but not what i wanted. wasn't even lunchtime yet, so rush not an excuse even tho' it took awhile to get it. not the best panera experience! :( read more

Second time in the past week they have completely screwed my order. When you py 16 bucks for a you pick two, id expect they would at least give you your FUCKING SANDWHICH. I Asked for extra baguette because I forgot to add it to order. The young lady preparing the food was rude and told me that the next time I had to order it. I was traveling on the road so there won't be a next time, not for this location. All she had to say was I would have paid for the extra baguette. Learn som customer service. Ordered the Turkey and Bacon Avacado BLT via the rapid pick up. Order was ready when I got there but once I got home, my Turkey And Bacon Avacado BLT was missing the Backn and Avacado. I have been to this location twice and both times it has been a huge disappointment compared to other Panera's. read more

I love Panera Bread and have been to many locations in various states. Have never had a problem with quality of anything I have ordered. Placed Rapid Pick-up from this location on two occasions and both times they got it wrong. First time I ordered a Soba Noodle bowl with Chicken along with a whole Steak & White Cheddar Panini. The Noodle bowl had zero chicken. The Panini looked NOTHING like the photo on-line, mine had very little meat (did not even cover the bottom of the bun). So since I love Panera I decided to give it another try. This time I ordered 2 full size Greek salads. Again, quality lacking. Size on both salads were small and one was significantly smaller than the other. Neither filled the container. Both had no olives at all. Neither looked anything like the photo on-line. I complained to Panera Customer Service on-line since their reputation is at stake. Received a response and $10 gift card. A fraction of what these items cost. Now, I will only buy bagels from this location. So disappointing read more

Our cashier (I'm not sure of his name) was very kind to me and my friends. We stopped for breakfast on the middle of a road trip, and had a lovely conversation with our cashier. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and my friends ordered the avocado egg white sandwiches. They were out of the bread for their sandwiches, so our cashier gave recommendations for bread replacements. After meeting our needs, he offered us free cookies for the trouble. Finally, he wished us safe travels and to stay healthy during the pandemic. Lovely experience! read more

Worst Panera I've ever been to. Waited 20 minutes in line and the person in front of me had to wait a longer time for her change, which they gave in pieces every 5 minutes because they didn't have enough cash. Then I proceeded to wait another 15 minutes to get my food, which was the worst Panera meal I've had with stale bread and no chicken on my sandwich. Don't recommend. read more

I went through the drive thru and it took forever for someone to even come on the speaker. I ordered a drink, toasted bagel with cream cheese, and cookie. When I got home I realized there was no cookie and the bagel wasn't toasted. When I tried to call the store about it it rang until the busy tone picked up. Very disappointed. read more

The food sucks and the managers suck. The employees are helpful and understanding if something goes wrong but one of the manager acted like a total douche and is very rude to their employees. read more

I was so excited to finally get a Panera in Ashland. I have given this location 5 try's and each time has been a epic fail. You either get a over priced uncooked sandwich, or a sandwich with no meat on it, or cold soup, they forget your sides on togo orders. Bottom line I love Panera but the Ashland location sucks and no one should go until they train there staff better! read more

Staff were incredibly professional and courteous. Staff recommended a yummy macaroni and cheese selection. Had a very nice meal. Coffee was brewed fresh and brought to my table. read more

Ordered a Green Goddess Cobb Salad, the salad didn't have chicken, bacon, or avocado. I went back in a second time and told them it was missing the listed ingredients. They just added chicken and handed it back to me. I had to ask a third time for the needed ingredients and asked for a completely new salad. They just added bacon with no avocado on the same salad and handed it back to me. I was too frustrated to ask a fourth time, so I just left. read more

Meh...I love Paneras...prior to this location opening we would frequent VC Glen Allen location... hiccups happen mistakes are made but that location was always quick to resolve any problem...Ashland was just meh...decor was sterile and no fireplace...Glen Allen location brings your food to your table...I know this is a small issue but it's a nice touch, this location doesn't do that...food was cold... employee's were friendly and it was clean...even though this location is closer I'll probably continue to go to the Glen Allen location. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered a pick two. A large Mac and cheese and a sandwich. It took 15 mins for them to give me my food. And when I looked in the bag there was only a small Mac with a dirty bowl and no sandwich. So I went back and complained and they said the Mac was a large ( even though I order the large all the time and know the difference, also I used to work at panera ) They also argued with me about it. They had put the Mac in the microwave which I hate cause it makes it super hard and burnt in some places then cold in others. And when they gave me the sandwich, I had to wait again cause they gave the wrong sandwich. And then when I got the correct sandwich it was burnt. So I asked for a refund and they got annoyed and only refunded me for the sandwich, so when I said I meant for all of it they got really annoyed. So just don't go here it's pretty nasty with some pretty nasty attitudes. I spent 35 mins there for nothing. Also when they mess up your order they're supposed to offer something and they didn't. read more
