    Bacon Turkey brava sandwich
    Patricia R.

Got there at 1130ish so the line was just two folks ahead of me. Quickly placed my order for the full bacon turkey sandwich with a bag of potato chips and a drink ($12). The sandwich was on a tomato like sweet bread... the top part of the slices were sweet which surprised me. The sliced turkey, bacon and tomato blended together deliciously. It filled me up well. I skipped a dessert and instead drank three cups of the lemonade which is always a treat. Quenched the thirst I didn't realize I had.

We were traveling for a soccer tournament and the gentleman who waited on us was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was very positive and was trying to help his fellow employees with completing tasks correctly.

Southwestern chili lime salad (unmixed) and cup of of broccoli cheese soup with a French baguette

5 stars for a great business meeting location and customer service. 3 stars for food. Average of 4 stars because the customer service and meeting location is worth it. Better than Starbucks as a casual business meeting location. Why? Shorter lines, more and better quality food selection, and a seating section that is business friendly (i.e., tucked away from main dining and electric plugs for devices). I showed up at 8:00am for a 1-2 hour meeting that unexpectedly turned into 5 hours. Panera was not particularly busy, and the staff was as kind as anyone could wish. There was no problem with staying. I asked if we need to purchase something else or relocate to another establishment; the staff member said no. She even bused the table and refilled my drink glass for me, not typical services. Breakfast menu is limited. Plenty of fresh bakery choices to carb load. My muffin was good, not great, but moist and fresh. I stayed for lunch after the meeting. I chose from Panera's pick 2 menu: salad and a cup of soup. I had the broccoli, cheddar soup and the Southwestern chili lime salad. I would try the soup again but not the salad. The broccoli, cheese soup tasted of cheese and broccoli but was liberally seasoned with pepper. The amount of pepper placed the soup just on the border between acceptable and too much. Depending on your taste, the soup may be over seasoned. I don't mind a little extra heat or spice. I am unclear if this heavy-handed seasoning is "as the recipe intends" or a one-time accident. If you don't like pepper, I recommend asking before ordering. Looks can be deceiving. The Southwestern chili pepper lime ranch salad, the most expensive salad on the menu currently, was visually unappealing and disappointing as served; the salad appeared primarily comprised of lettuce, cheese, and avocado with limited other ingredients and little dressing. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a plethora of ingredients buried under the lettuce (i.e., chicken, corn, and tomatoes) and even a little too much dressing. I mixed the ingredients and was much happier than with my first bite. While I am accustom to mixing salads, I expect the ingredients on top of the mixed greens not vice versa. I could taste a little tang and heat from the chili pepper, lime dressing. Given the amount of dressing on the salad, the chili lime flavor was very mild. I also found large, mixed green stems in my salad - not pleasant to chew or taste. I dislike salads that are drowned in dressing. This one was not drowned, but it was drowning. The lettuce especially was having trouble "standing up" to the amount of dressing). The liberal dressing application was too close to drowning for my complete enjoyment. The French baguette served with soup was worthy of 5 stars at in a three Michelin star restaurant in a France. A crusty outside enrobes a soft bread center. The inside practically melted in my mouth. Yum! More please.

    Vacuum stored in dining area

I ordered a toasted bagel and coffee on a Saturday morning when only about four people were in the place. I got a bagel with one corner toasted, I asked for the rest to be toasted. It was explained to me that if they toasted it again that corner would burn. So my options were a toasted bagel with one side burnt. Or an I toasted bagel with one corner toasted. And this seemed completely reasonable to the guy behind the counter. Buy a toaster that works! They were also out of regular coffee. I would give them an extra star for cleanliness, but they seem to store the vacuum in the dining area.

Every time we order Rapid Pick Up from this place, something is incorrect, made wrong, or missing. Today's mess up included a grilled cheese sandwich which we paid extra for the cheese to be Gouda rather than disgusting American cheese. As you can see in the photo, it was still made with American cheese, and we also have this lovely burnt cheese included. This location doesn't care and a manager is never present: not to talk to paying customers, not to train, coach, or develop their team, and certainly not to make sales and order accuracy a priority. Somebody needs to do everyone a favor to the Apopka community and just close this place down.

I'm a fan of Panera. Their food is consistently good. I'm always getting the same thing, more or less. I get the You-Pick-2 with French Onion soup and either Turkey Artichoke or Frontega chicken for my sandwich. It is just enough food and tastes oh so good with their lemonade. Yumm. This particular Panera is set up a little strange. Maybe because it has a drive thru (which is a great idea) but the seating inside is limited. In other Paneras they'll have comfy seats for sipping coffee and surfing the web. They'll also have space for meetings but this one has none of that. It's kind of a stripped down Panera. Still, the food was good, ready quickly and service was quick and friendly.

Great food, friendly staff. There was a big spill by the drink machine which they weren't rushing to clean up but it wasn't a big deal.

After spending a day at a theme park and eating their options, it was nice to "clean" your body out with a good and healthy salad. Located on Sand Lake road near Publix and multiple eateries, this place has a wide selection of salads, sandwiches, and a limited selection of soups. Ambiance: 3.5 Stars The place was clean and has plentiful seating. Ranging from bar style or bench and tables. It is Deli style when ordering. Go to the back and select the type of salads, rice / couscous, soups, or sandwiches. There are pre-fixed options or you can build your own bowl. The eatery was clean, open and airy. Natural lighting was pleasant with the large front windows. It would have been a higher star rating for the ambiance, but the bathrooms needed some work. Though it was clean and roomy, there was no soap and limited toilet paper. Staff: 3.5 Stars Deli The employees were friendly and professional. Our server assisted us with questions and our selections. However, with the middle Eastern dialect and his ability to speak at a rate of the sound barrier, he had to repeat a few times for us to understand. Note: His patience was much appreciated. Food: 3.75 Stars We all chose several different salads. Three were pre-fixed and one was customized. 1. Shanghai Chicken Salad - 3.5 Stars Roasted chicken, edamame, scallions, almonds, cilantro, red cabbage, romaine perfectly paired with miso sesame vinaigrette Contains: Nuts, Soy I chosen the chopped romaine leaves as the base. It was light and flavorful from the dressing. However the chicken was a little bit overcooked and dry. The condiments were plentiful and fresh. Though it was good and had protein, I felt somewhat satisfied. I could eaten another bowl. 2. Chicken Shawarma - 4 Stars Blackened diced chicken thigh, kale, hummus, baba ghanoush, pickles, Israeli salad with Greek yogurt and tahini dressing. The based options are rice melody or couscous. I chose the rice melody. This bowl was more satisfying than the Shanghai Chicken Salad. The chicken tasted juicy, tender and flavorful. Choosing a thigh instead of breast brings the umami flavor of the chicken. The fresh veggies and tahini dressing was a perfect match for this option. 3. Santa Fe Salad - 3.5 Stars avocado, corn, local jack & cheddar, grape tomatoes, onions, tortilla chips, local kale, romaine, perfectly paired with chipotle-lime vinaigrette with a fresh lime squeeze. My sister added chicken thigh and avocado Chimichurri dressing. She said it was tasty. 4. South Beach - 3 Stars craisins, walnuts, green apples, blue cheese, local mesclun, romaine, perfectly paired with balsamic vinaigrette. My wife added chicken and swapped the walnuts for pumpkin seeds. The diced breast chicken was slightly dry and seasoning was lacking. The salad itself was good but wasn't too satisfying. 5. Customized Salad - 3.25 Stars My niece chose to customize her salad bowl. She chose chicken, romaine lettuces, shaved Parmesan cheese, cucumbers, edamame, and other veggie ingredients. She chose the avocado Chimichurri dressing which she liked. NOTE: they offer breakfast items and coffee. Selection of various drinks are from a deli refrigerator and they carry some Kombucha options too. Enjoy!

Tons of great options if you're looking to eat some fresh and healthy. I ordered the Wok bowl and although it sounded like my cup of tea, it didn't taste like it. The bowl itself looked delicious, and the rice and chicken were both actually warm to my surprise! The rice itself however was a little hard and the chicken was a bit bland. I wish I would've asked for the sauce on the side or maybe added some sauce to my chicken to give it more flavor as all my sauce ended up on the veggies and really didn't enhance absorb the peanut sauce (which was great). I will say this bowl was packed and honestly offered a good amount of food for the price (~$14 to 15) I would definitely give this place another chance because there were definitely other items that caught my eye. I know the wok bowl definitely has potentially and wouldn't knock this place out after my first experience!

They have only four carb bases and four veggie bases to choose from so it's really hard to be indecisive about what you want. There are pre selected menu options or you can just make your own salad as I chose today. My mix; brown rice, spinach, cucumbers, carrots, pickled onion, and purple cabbage with blacked chicken, thai and jalapeño dressing with wonton crisps. You can also see my drink they have what's basically "Aguas Frescas" options. I got the pomegranate lemon mixed with rishi black tea. But if you don't like tart and sour like me they had two other options on the sweeter side. Perks: Drinks are self serve, you can sample the dressings, and there's no cheat menu options that make you feel guilty for trying to be healthy. Con: The only con is that like any salad place it isn't a load of chicken but it is a still a good amount of protein. If you're looking for cheap protein stick to Chipotle.
