Went there tonight and always enjoy their food. Really big servings. The people that work there always have smiles and are kind and polite.i always enjoy the experience when I go in. The only Chinese food place.i go to. Always get my steamed rice, orange chicken, either teriyaki or mushroom. I loved their BBQ pork. It's cooked great and not saucy. Food is fire!!! The noodles are missing a little flavor but overall with how the economy is nowadays, you get a decent amount of food for the price you pay. Great deal. Nice people service was good. The food is trash though. I seen the lady take the cook the buffet rice for the shrimp fried rice. I just felt it should've been rice for fresh shrimp fried rice. I personally think this is the best Chinese food place around AV. Only one time did the orange chicken taste weird but you never know, maybe it was someone's first day lol or mistakes happen. New to the AV and wanted to try out a Chinese spot that isn't Panda Express. Decide to check this spot out. They were fast and they were very generous with the serving. In top of that the pricing for a two item combo is only $9.49. It's a good Chinese spot if you want a mom and pop kind of Chinese food. It was enough for lunch and dinner. The food under the heat lamps didn't look too appetizing. So we ordered combination fried rice without carrots and peas, then they had to make it fresh for us. As with any Chinese food places, I gotta try the orange chicken. That's how I rate the place. It had a good flavor that I would have otherwise enjoyed had it not been sitting too long under the heat lamps. They were dry and chewy by the time I ate them. The fried rice was good. Sorry I was too hungry I forgot to take a pic. This was not the worst Chinese food place I went to nor is it a good one for me to make that drive back. read more

This place was okay. I have to say after I was done eating it I immediately had a pretty bad stomach ache and had to go to the bathroom. Idk I start to think something in the form of a laxative is in the food because it really does send you off to the bathroom after 30 minutes. I ordered it off door dash so I can't really comment on the vibe or service but the people are usually very nice. The food has a lot of flavor and I love the chow mein because it is my all time favorite. If I had to choose which one I liked more I have to say the spicy chicken is my favorite ! Very fast, generous portions! I love the coconut shrimp. The sesame balls are also a favorite.

We got takenout from Panda Wok. The food was amazing , fresh , flavorful and the boxes were PACKED full. It is only take out..no dine in.

Pros: enjoyed the cream cheese wontons, good-sized servings; liked the teriyaki chicken, pepper chicken not bad, Mr. Picky liked the coconut shrimp even if I didn't. Cons: BBQ Pork a bit tough and somewhat dry (although a few bites were okay), chow mein needed more flavor, Szechuan chicken just a little too spicy for Mr. Picky, mushroom chicken just okay, bland fried rice. Overall: I suppose to be fair one should try one of the menu cooked-fresh-to-order items, and I admit we only ordered combos which are served from the hot table. Regardless, I probably won't come back because it's mediocre and most dishes could do with a bit more flavor. Mr. Picky's comment as we drove away was, "Boring, boring, boring." read more

I just left this establishment without any food. I wish I can give a minus star. I'm just shock how the turn around of this business has filtered down. Once a friendly place where one was greeted at the door by a young lady who remember your name and offer extra fortune cookies for being a regular customer. Now one is served by a bitter male worker who serves without a mask and refuses to take your payment and start putting the food back as I was waiting to pay via credit card. He never place the card reader in the customer area and refuse to touch the card. When ask how am I suppose to pay he put the food back. I told him I'm trying to pay he grab the food that he put back and attempted to hand it to me. Rude! When ask to speak to management everyone somehow didn't know English. This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star! They deserve 0 stars! Ordered through door dash and picked up my order and came home to find out they gave me the wrong item. Ordered chicken broccoli and received beef broccoli which the beef was rubbery and chewy and leaves a bad aftertaste in your mouth. The pepper beef looks like dog food and taste horrible and is chewy, the black pepper chicken has some kind of batter on it and is hard and chewy. It's not supposed to have batter on it and fried, just gross! The chicken chow mein is not any better. The chicken used is the cheapest cut meat and leaves a horrible aftertaste. So disappointed.... The first and second time I ate at this place I was so impressed and even left a $4 tip. However, I went back there today for lunch and the Shrimp tasted like they were cook in Plastic ....The Spicy Fish was hard, dry and not spicy nor did it have sauce. Also, this time around the girl fixing my food was very skimpy and she counted the small pieces of fish one by one to equal 5 very small nuggets of dried up fish. She wasn't even friendly or welcoming.... I know this place has a pretty bad wrap but id like to say I thought this place was pretty good ! I ordered on here for delivery and it was prepared pretty quickly and was delivered on time. The food quality wasn't bad, the food was a good temp and it was pretty decent food! The only gripe I have is that it was pretty exspensive came out to 50 bucks after 1.40 in delivery, I had tipped and with their taxes for their family meal only . Most Chinese places there family dinner is 25 or lower ( except panda ) and it was good food but I dont think its was 50 bucks worth of food. My family and I have been coming here since they opened. I've never had any issues with the food or service. Yes, if it's busy you might wait 10 minutes, but it's never a terrible wait. Most of the food is still good, but we recently had the kung pao 'chicken', but it was mostly celery chunks and green peppers with way too much spice. While I'm here, I want to express my concern that the portions dropped in size about 25%. I understand prices have gone up, but shrinking the portions, adding cheap vegetables and too much spice won't encourage me to dine their more often. I really enjoyed the quality of food they had, raising the price wouldn't have keep me from returning. I would have been 25-40 % happier to pay more and get what I wanted. Service was great! Their side options were exceptional! I didn't get any entrees really because I don't eat meat but they looked tasty. Their vegetable eggrolls weren't bad but we're a bit bland, it seems like they only had cabage and not much more in them. Their mixed vegetables had an interesting taste to them that I wasn't expecting but enjoyed. Their place was very clean and enjoyable to eat at. Much better than panda express! On a whim I tried Panda Wok for dinner, as there were not many options close by, and also due to its rating. The establishment is basically an independent Panda Express, but with more pork and shrimp options. The inside was pretty clean. I chose a two-item plate, with 1/2 fried rice and 1/2 vegetables for a side. There did not appear to be white rice, and the vegetables were covered in what appeared to be oyster sauce. For the two entrees I decided on beef and broccoli and chicken teriyaki. To be fair, the portions served were quite large, but the quality was lacking. It looked and tasted as if the entrees had been sitting all day, and a decent amount of greasy fluid collected at the bottom of my plate. The flavor was at best fair, and whatever liquid the vegetables came with sullied the meal. I did feel a brief bit of nausea in the car afterwards. Not sure I will be returning. read more

Love this place. Best food in AV. The food is always fresh and large portions. I have tried other places in the AV and this is far better.

I ordered the cheese wontons, steamed dumplings and pan fired dumplings on line and when we arrived the food were ready. I must say they all tasted very good. And price is not bad either. Good place to get some Chinese food. read more
