I brought my daughter in for a head spa service for her birthday and she has very curly hair. When the service was finished, her hair was left with multiple matted knots, to the point that it took us over an hour at home to carefully detangle it and massive clumps of hair had to be cut out. This should never happen during a professional service, especially when working with curly hair textures. For my own service, I was not informed ahead of time that the shampoo was not color-safe, and as a result, a noticeable amount of my hair color washed out. That should have been clearly communicated before starting. Additionally, the head massage itself was extremely aggressive. Instead of being relaxing, the repeated squeezing and pressure on the top of my skull caused me to leave with a headache, which completely defeated the purpose of a spa treatment. In addition, they used gloves to give us facials causing friction and damage. They also used honey from the grocery store as a "mask". I highly doubt these ladies are cosmetologists cause the practices are not professional at all. To make matters worse, at the end of the appointment, we were asked to tip which is super rude in my opinion. Overall, this experience felt careless and unprofessional, particularly when it comes to communication, technique, and consideration for different hair types. I would not recommend this place, especially for anyone with curly hair or color-treated hair.

She uses a European extraction technique that is not very common because it can be difficult to do, however I only trust Satik. She's been doing this for so long and knows what she is doing. What's worked for me and my boyfriend with our acne is not only the facials but also the products we use on our skin. Diet helped me initially with calming my acne but everyone is different. She acknowledged the issue, refunded me, and explained that over the weekend, they do keep the temperature lower to accommodate the crowd. Still, I was aiming for a hotter steam, and I believe a proper steam room should have a strong flow of steam not just a warm room with sprinklers.
