Panda Garden has the best Chinese food I've tasted in the area. Service is fast and friendly.

I walked in and was greeted by the lady and man at the counter. They were both nice. I got a menu and saw they had $9 lunch specials until 3 pm. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and crab rangoon. The combo listed that it comes with rice, egg drop or wonton soup, or a soda. I wanted the soup but was advised a canned soda was the only option, no soup. Sweet and sour chicken: It came with fried rice which was seasoned and tasted good. They gave about 12 pieces of chicken. I don't normally finish a whole dish in one sitting without leftovers, but I did eat it all this time. So it's a smaller portion because it was a lunch dish. The chicken was a little soggy, and had a fishy taste like the Rangoon, but it wasn't as strong, so I was able to eat it. The sweet n sour sauce was very thick, I've never seen it this consistency before, but it tasted ok. Crab Rangoon: this was a heck naw for me right after the first bite. They looked good, and you get 10 which was good. The problem was the taste. They need to change their grease or something. The Rangoon immediately tasted like fish, my tongue was confused by the strong fishy flavor. I couldn't even taste what was inside. I ate 2 to see if all of them tasted that way, and after the same taste coated my tongue, I threw them away. Again the very thick sauce came on the side. There were a few seats and tables inside to dine in, but it felt a little crowded. So takeout is probably best!! I don't think I'd go back to this location again. I don't like giving a low star review because they were nice. 3.5 stars for customer service, but the food just wasn't worth it. 2 stars for the food, because I liked the rice. read more

Hi We tried this place because it was recommended from a lady that works at Walmart . Food was awful. We usally carry this for lunch but straight in the trash it went . This is one of the best fast food Chinese restaurants here in the 23464 zip code. I know that Chinese fast food places are as abundant as 711 stores but this restaurant stands out. I just left the store where this rude customer was trying to bargain extra gravy at the rate of $1.25. Cmon man, you had to be rude to the worker for a whole $1.25? He told the worker, I want this complimentary and if not I'm going to complain and put you on Facebook. How rude and just ridiculous. The jerk ended up just leaving due to him not getting his complimentary extra gravy. What a piece of work. I hope more people enjoy the food from Panda Garden. Through the years, my family and I have also ordered larger trays from this restaurant and we have never had an issues with food nor service. It's a NO for me. Went there out of convenience on a Friday. Ordered garlic shrimp with veggies medium spice. I had a total of 5 shrimp, more veggies than necessary and a super sweet sauce that made me gag. The best part about it was the steamed white rice. We ordered for delivery today at 6:54 PM. My order was delivered at 7:24PM. Not only was the food tasteless, it was only lukewarm. Soup needed reheating. Pepper Steak was just warm. Excellent food with big portions. Purchased a delivery order consisting of chicken with broccoli, general tso's chicken, and 4 pork eggrolls. Egg rolls were bigger than most. First of all this place looks incredibly dirty on the inside, and the drink cooler is nothing short of disgusting. But, Once again I'm undone by the phone getting priority over the live customer. We walked in and the phone rang and the lady behind the counter started taking a phone order. We stood there for literally 10 minutes (I was watching my phone deciding I'd leave if it hit 10 minutes) as one lady took a 40 dollar phone order, another lady walked around and packed up already made phone orders, and one guy cooked in the back. I don't have patience when you don't even give a courtesy "hello" when we walk in the door. 10 minutes is way more than enough time to at least acknowledge that we are standing in front of you. Horrible. The ONLY good thing about this place is that they delivered to us, even though the roads are bad. I ordered egg rolls, White rice, and house lo mein. The lo mein would have been good if i didnt find a huge, long hair COOKED INTO the pork, only 3 or 4 bites in. That ruined it for me. Tried to eat the white rice and it was way over cooked, terrible texture. The egg rolls were not only literally dripping with grease, but they tasted like sage or some weird seasoning. They were the worst ive had (hard to screw up noodles and an egg roll). My boyfriend ordered chicken fried rice, but they brought him burbon chicken and veggies with fried rice. Unless you like eating off-tasting chinese with hair cooked right into the meat, don't waste your money here. If i could give this place 0 stars I would. read more

We ordered delivery here last night around 8pm and it came by 845pm. It was good. But we got no fortune cookies which i sadly missed. I got a vegetable egg roll....it was in a wonton wraper instead of the traditional kind which was okay, caught me off gaurd but still good. And i also got the veggie lo mien and that was good, full of mushrooms and broccoli. The boyfriend got the Dragon and Phoenix: general tsos chicken and shrimp without veggies and white rice. Alright, been reading through the reviews and they are super old. We need some new ones. I LOVE chinese food. I guess really it's American Chinese food, huh? But I bet I would still like authentic too. Lol. As I read through the reviews, let's all remember, the fast food chinese restaurants all look the same, you know what I mean. But it's the taste and deals that I look at. My favorite one closed during the pandemic so I wasnt sure where to go. I frequent this place for lunch because they give a pint of soup OR soda with their special. Don't normally see that. Also, I like their family special where you pick 4 dishes. AND my extremely picky dtr really likes their chicken with broccoli. So I can't argue with that! There are only 2 of them who work there, and they do their best. They are hard working and very nice. And yes telephone business is important. Would like it to be ringing when you are trying to order? And why not free up the line? Just read the menu over again. I have enjoyed everything we have ordered here. No frills, clean, and they also put up a barrier to make sure that customers are safe and they are safe. Even when ( I hope!)
