There was a 5-10 minute wait on certain items. The employee works very quickly to fill the plates. Great portions were given. My food tasted warm, flavorful, and fresh. Love love love panda. Call me weird- im not a big fan of all things Chinese food but Panda Express anything & you got me. My regular here is usually the playe of orange chicken, chowmein & super greens. Its amazing you have to try it. They give you huge portions and the food is always hot and fresh. Not too soggy or deep fried - just perfect! I notice it is better to order in stores though- rather than Doordash because it seems like you do get exactly what you ask for. Makes sense since you are there to order. They are way more than accommodating at this store. Always giving extra sauce, fortune cookies, or anything else you may need. They also have coupon deals they have once in a while which is great! And indoor and outdoor seating if you decide to dine in. Prices are reasonable which really appealing to me especially if I have an errand to run or want a simple meal. Ok, I went in there tonight and saw the sign on the door saying they are hiring. I went in, got my order in and asked if they are hiring for morning shift. Then I looked back and saw Luz, the manager on duty, on her break and asked her. She said they weren't hiring. Then I suggested to remove the sign if you are not hiring. I'm a manager myself, if there's a sign in front saying you're hiring, you should atleast let the person fill out an application and go on with your life. So then, I paid for my meal and sat down and ate. Sad to say, I over heard the conversation between Luz and the server that took my order. The server suggested to Luz to take the sign off, and I heard Luz, the manager on duty, say, "Don't listen to him, he's drunk." How am I drunk and who is she to say that? I just came to purchase food and asked if they were hiring for morning shift. Plus, who is Luz to tell people I'm drunk. What does that mean? And if I was drunk, I'm a paying customer. I'm pretty sure she's going to deny these accusations just like most narcissists do but that was disrespectful and unprofessional. Like many, I like to have Panda Express now and again. However, this location makes me want to stay home and cook. I've been coming here for years and I've had enough. Most of the workers here are rude. They never want to make another batch of anything when it's within an hour of closing. And most importantly they are skimpy on the food!! They always fill up the bowls with a ton of chow mein or rice. And very little on the meat. The picture is my most recent order. The whole bowl was filled with rice and only 6 shrimp!! What in the Panda Express is that?! The shrimp is a 1.50 extra too. And all I see is me paying 9 for a bowl of rice. This is not the first time they have done this either. I recommend watching the amount of food they give you and speaking up if they are being greedy on the food. As for me, I'll be making my way across town to a different panda. read more

This review is for Elizabeth the General Manager. She lacks customer service and management skills. I have a gift card to Panda Express that has a balance of $8.75. The cashier swiped my gift card several times and ended up manually entering the card number...she ended up telling me there was a zero balance on my gift card and even showed me a receipt that said "zero balance." I told her it did have a balance and that I was certain it wasn't at zero. She didn't even bother to try again and said sorry I don't know why it did that...I left slightly irritated but didn't want to argue because she had a negative attitude. When I got home I looked at my receipt to find out I was over charged. This got me annoyed even more. I called the phone number on the back of my gift card to confirm my balance and the automated system confirmed I had a balance of $8.75. So I decided to call them to explain the error. I asked to speak to the manager when a woman answered the phone. She responded by saying "I am the manager, I'm the general manager." I explained the situation to her about the gift card. She then responded, "I'm sorry ma'am but sometimes the system works and sometimes it doesn't." I then replied, "so how can you fix this because it's not my fault I can't use my gift card." She replied, "You can try again another day." At this point I was annoyed with her rude attitude. She said, It's not my fault and there isn't anything I can do." I then told her I was also over charged and she just said "ok." I couldn't believe, this "general manager" really isn't even trying to fix anything. I even explained to her maybe the cashier didn't enter the gift card number correctly, since she had to enter it manually. She didn't even bother to acknowledge the possibility. To make a long story short, she was zero help and didn't even offer any type of assistance. Her solution after I practically suggested some type of accommodation was to give me store credit for $10. At this point I told her, "why so I can be told the store credit you give me in a form of a gift card doesn't work for whatever reason on your system?" I asked her for her supervisors name and she said I don't have one, I am the general manager. I told her she had to report to someone and she said no. To make a long story short, I called customer service and the rep immediately said it was the stores error because gift cards shouldn't be swiped on the register or entered manually, they should be scanned by using the barcode. She also said I could get a refund for my food since I paid with my debit card but to call back the general manager to explain and let her know the gift card card was also not used the right way at the register. I called Elizabeth back and explained and now she tells me to come back to the store with my receipt to issue a refund. I told her the customer service rep said you could do it electronically. She then proceeds to tell me I have to show the actual receipt because it is her supervisors orders (now she has a supervisor, go figure!) she also tells me, "we don't scan gift cards because the scanners aren't for that!!!!" Wow! Just pitiful behavior and excuses all coming from someone in management! At the end she tells me to come in today, 2/16/22 with my receipt to get a refund on my card. I came in today as she instructed me to do so, all to find out she didn't in to work today. The girls at the register said, " I'm sorry ma'am I don't know why she told you that, she had the day off today. I really apologize for the inconvenience." At least the girls at the counter today were friendly and displayed good customer service. I left my phone number for her to call me back for the refund. I will definitely be following up. read more

Went today around 3 and it wasn't too busy we were 3rd in line. We both had a 3 item plate which we both chose orange chicken, teriyaki chicken and walnut shrimp I had white rice he had chow mien. The guy who served it was super nice and gave decent portions...all the food was fresh and hot and delicious Oh had the wontons with cream cheese too and those were crisp and not soggy. I happen to stop here on my way coming home from Sac. The place is clean and the service was pretty fast for a Panda Express. Usually I have to wait a good 30 mins when I go to other ones. It is very fascinating to me how many negative reviews this Panda Express gets. I have been here over a dozen times in the last year and I have yet to have a bad experience. The customer service I receive has always been top-notch, and unlike other Panda Expresses with fewer items to choose from, this one always seems to have a great selection of food. There seems to be a school nearby so when the students get out, this place gets a little busy, try to arrive before 2 or after 4:30 the teens ruin the entire experience and have no manners. The staff is always on par with providing consistently reliable service. I like this location a lot and it is worth my time to come out here, it's about a 20-minute drive from Galt and worth the time when you get such good food and customer service. I recommend trying this location, it is in a nice little area known as "Morada" so you're not in Stockton thereby avoiding the Stockton people who seem to be entitled and in a rush to get to nowhere. Morada is awesome, where as Stockton is a real dump. This Panda Express is fine by all standards. read more

The staff tonight didn't have enough Kung Pao chicken prepared, so I got comped a drink while I waited the 2 minutes to finish the dish. Been here three times and it's not bad. Pros and cons depend on whether you come during down time or a high traffic time. During the down time, expect fast service but stale food (if you are the only person around, do not get anything fried, like wontons, etc.). I need to update this review. Apparently management caught up to me via YELP and sent me a meal card for my troubles. I am always shocked when people take responsibility for their establishment. With chain stores that involve food it can be pretty much a "hit or miss" situation. With this store it really does depend on which day and time you patronize their store. It seems like their biggest challenge is having enough adequately trained staff available when you go get your food. Sunday, for me, seems like the best time as a lot of people seem to keep them busy and the fresh food rotating so fast that the food doesn't taste lackluster. For me, PANDA food is delicious when fresh, but nothing to write home about when it is cold or even luke-warm. But given the fact that the management took responsibility to address concerns and my subsequent experience was delicious, it is only fair that I update this review. Just keep your eyes on the kids behind the counter. They appear to often be overworked and from what I can gather way underpaid considering how much profit Panda makes in a year. Panda made 3.1 Billion in 2018 according to FORBES. https://www.forbes.com/companies/panda-restaurant-group/#1966a1363cc2 Panda Ranked #143 as one of America's Largest Private Companies in 2018, yes ranked #453 as America's Best Employers. My critical thoughts knows that correlation does not always mean causation, but I definitely sense that they may need to step up their game with employees as I have noticed a bit of a revolving door at their establishments. For now, I see them as a 4 star place when ranked among other fast food giants as I feel less guilt eating here than at the golden arches or Jack's not so nimble that he is in a box! Panda is a good spot to get quick, decent takeout food and their orange chicken beats all other Chinese places. We made an online order tonight and got a family meal. It was somewhat busy and when it came up to our turn, one of the leaders asked the employee to double check our order to see if it was right. I saw him just look at the receipt and the top of the boxes instead of opening it up. When we came home, we got our order wrong. We got two kung pao chicken instead of one of them being walnut shrimp. I wish he would've checked like the manager asked him too because it was extra to add shrimp. What a nightmare! They made us wait 20 minutes in line only to find out that they were out of just about everything and we got to wait some more for them to actually prepare the food. They had no rice and no chow mein. Exactly how is that even possible in an asian restaurant? Every other choice was a 7 minute wait because the empty bowls weren't enough for them to realize they needed more.
