My wife and kids were on the road, and looking for something a step above typical fast food.. Panda Express, being a recognized chain.. seemed a safe stop. This stop became regrettable as each component tasted aged, poorly prepared, and inconsistent from bite to bite. The visit was about 6:30. Not off hours. To have such poor offerings at a traditional meal time, is illogical. We will think twice before returning to this chain. This particular restaurant will NOT see our business again. read more

Now....I never liked this place as everything was so citrusy. BUT, someone brought me some "spicy orange chicken"....and that stuff was something else great! It doesn't taste all citrusy at all - it sure has a good kick of spice. The crunch of the chicken was excellent! Good stuff it was. read more

I got the plate with two entrées. The orange chicken was hard as a brick and the teriyaki grilled chicken had no flavor. Even my fortune cookie was mushy, I could bend it with my fingers. Positive note the guy that was working the drive-through was kind and polite. read more

I asked for entrees with the least vegetables possible and they did amazing at making that happen. I had to wait for one entree and it was brought out to me fresh and with no veggies. They came around and asked how everything was and if I needed sauce. Just such a nice experience today! Yay!!!!! read more

Great food and friendly staff! I am from out of town. My daughter and I ran in to use the restroom then grab food for the road. I was greeted upon entering the restaurant in a friendly manner. Tonight their card readers were down and one worker was sitting, eating her lunch. She offered me the only cash she had on hand. It was very sweet for her to offer. The gentleman helping me was trying to find every way possible see if a payment would go through. I ended up running to Walmart and getting cash then going back. Nonetheless, the staff was amazing and I appreciate every effort they put into helping me. Plus the food is always amazing. I always stop at this Panda Express when I travel to Springfield read more

It has taken me forever to get this restaurant a try. That's unfortunate for me. The food is fresh and the service friendly. There is not a huge food selection, but there is enough to satisfy the majority, while keeping the prices down. read more

The orange chicken barely has any sauce, and the egg rolls were burnt and had a funny taste, almost like chemicals. They are also slow. Will not be back read more

Shout out to the guys here--especially the manager--who looked at security camera footage for me after I was backed into at the post office behind their restaurant. Tried this location the other day for the first time and I am a fan. While this style of food is very Americanized Asian fare, I found that my food still had a touch of authenticity and lots of flavor. I went to panda Express to try a new offering , the wok seared sirloin and shrimp. I honestly thought it was great. The beef was tender and flavorful, the shrimp very plump and not overcooked at all. The meat along with some veggies and potato were covered in a flavorful brown sauce that reminded me of a Chinese black bean sauce. I would eat it again in a heartbeat. I also like the Panda Express fried rice as it is never sticky and has just the right amount of texture to it. I picked up some of their mustard sauce which I had not tried before and it was very good. It has lot more flavor than most of the portion control packs you get at other Asian restaurants. The service was quick and efficient and helped make this a great fast casual experience. read more

For fast food, this is one of my favorite places to go. Great food for what it is and that is a quick dine segment of the restaurant world. Can you get a better dish of Chinese? Yes. But you will not find to many that are better and in the speed of this Panda Express. The building is very clean and wide open so you can see the food is cooked in a trustworthy manner. We love their chow mien and orange chicken combo and kids meal. In a time crunch for lunch and tired of the burger joints, this is a good one! read more

Grabbed a bowl of orange chicken with fried rice with a side of cream cheese Rangoon's. Customer service and speed was excellent. Quality of the food was not up to standard that I've had from panda before. Typically I've had delicious fresh flavors from other locations I've visited. The chicken was soggy and I could tell it had been sitting out for past its time. Same goes with the ragoons, which also had a taste of old/dirty fryer oil. The fried rice was undercooked and left to hard to bite. Time of visit was around 6pm on a Sunday via drive Thru. read more

So I went to panda express first off the lights were not working in the bathroom they were burn out. I ordered the kids meal teriyaki chicken with vegetables to go. The vegetables were extremely over steamed and you're kids in good shape if you like broccoli that is completely wilted and cabbage no other vegetables and the chicken well it doesn't look like the photo that's for sure and it's kind of hard to eat with just a plastic fork they don't even give you a knife in there to go silverware read more

It's 9:00 & the store closes at 9:30 so we decide to get our food to go but we've been driving all day so we go in to order. We're ignored for a good 5 minutes until we stare down and employee( they kept looking at us bus never helping us). finally Grace comes to take our order and greets us with "you know the lobby closes at 9:30 so this will be to go" but it a very rude tone. Jacob kept ignoring us when we walked in and didn't even greet us. it was just all together a sucky experience read more

We'll never be back. First, it was it was the opposite of Express. For a quick serve restaurant, it took a long time to get our food. Our family of four went in and waited in line for a long time. There were only two other people in front of us. I told the clerk what Child 1 wanted. She asked hopefully, "Is that all today?" Ummmmm, no. There are four of us and so we'll probably all get some food. It cost $40.00 for the four of us to eat there. The food was lukewarm. The fried rice had no flavor, and my child who LOVES crab Rangoon and eats it at every other Chinese place in the universe would not eat them. The crab Rangoon was disgusting. Since I have had DELICIOUS Panda Express in other parts of the country while traveling, skip this place. It's not like any other Panda Express I've visited. It's WAY WAY worse. With the delicious variety of Chinese food in Springfield, avoid this place. read more

Just to be honest I'm not a fan. I've tried it a few times and it always tastes like freezer food to me in comparison to other Asian places. Don't care for the set up or atmosphere. Self service. read more

I love Panda Express, but this location consistently has the worst food! The rice is always overcooked and the noodles never have any sauce. It's like they don't know the recipe? The egg rolls are usually slightly burned. It's sad, because when I am traveling I always get Panda and enjoy it. But when I'm in my own town it is never good. read more

This Panda Express was great! I would 100% go back. My orange chicken was not cold or undercooked one bit! My fried rice was not over cooked nor gross. My fortune cookie was delicious! The drinks were also not watered down. For a person who doesn't go to Panda Express much, this was an amazing location to go to. The people who were working were also very friendly! read more

Yet another place in Springfield that you have to check your order before leaving. Come on kids, you have two things to do. 1. Put the proper items in the bag. 2. Take our money. Not too difficult...for most, but it seems to be a challenge for you. read more

Three or four stars? This was a close call. I went with four because of the food (the service pushed it closer to a three). This Panda Express is a new addition to our community. This was my first experience at the chain. The layout is like that of Qdoba. You go through a line a customize your plate. For the money, a lot of food. I have no complaints on portion sizes. The guy that was filling your plates was helpful to the family before us with "how this works". The menu board was informational enough for my hubs and I to get the gist. The selections are laid out before you in all of their glory. So you actually see what the entrees look like which I loved. The selections all looked very fresh and promising. It was hard to choose. I chose the Mushroom Chicken and the Orange Chicken with fried rice and spring rolls. Hubby's two were Chicken Shitake and Sweet Fire Chicken with an egg roll. After worker #1 completes your entree it is ppassed to worker #2 for sides. He also collects your money. Hubs figured he must have missed where the mustard and soy sauce were on the line. I volunteered to go get some. I went to the gentleman at the cash register and asked for mustard. He quickly handed me six packets. The temperature of the food was not quite hot enough. I forgot to ask for soy sauce. Went back for the soy, he was with another customer and seemed a little put out that I was back. He roughly handed me three soy packets. At the drink station, it was a disaster. It had not been tidied up in a while and I almost slipped on an ice cube. Our food was all room temperature which was very disappointing. I want my food HOT. Also, the Mushroom Chicken didn't have a lot of flavor. Which is a shame because I would do almost anything for mushrooms. Saying that, the Orange Chicken made up for it! It is so very good that I almost have no words! A light crunch, not too sweet, a little heat, and just flat out good! It is evidently their signature dish and I can see why. So, overall, disappointed at their efforts. We have A LOT of options or Asian food in our community, We may or may not be back. read more

Place opened at 11. We arrived at 11:30 and they were already out of several entree items. The Chow Mein was hard and cold, obviously left over from the day before. Tried the "Springfield Cashew Chicken, of which I'm an expert and this wasn't even close. Won't return here... read more

They make the best chinese food in Springfield!!! Their food is fresh and tasty and their ice tea is really exotic and delicious!!

These guys haven't let me down yet. Fast, somewhat inexpensive and it taste really good. Can't complain

There wasn't anything wrong with the flavor of the food. BUT, we got there a few minutes after 11:00 and the food wasn't even warm. We had never been to Panda Express before and found their buffet a little confusing. I chose fried rice and a steak & shrimp dish then she said I could choose from any of the entrees. I thought I already had by choosing the steak & shrimp. My husband wound up with fried rice and what they called chow mein. He was totally grossed out by the cold noodles. The egg rolls were very brown and over-cooked, but not bad flavor-wise. The girl that waited on us was friendly and courteous, but not very helpful about getting through the choices. I'm doubting we'll go back. read more

While I reluctant to try the freestanding Panda Express because of bad experiences at the one in the mall, I was very pleased. Personnel were smiling and friendly. Food was all very fresh and tasty with lots of choice. Space is clean and bright. I like that they have the calories by each item. Next time I will get the mixed veggies as my side choice, much healthier, as I didn't need the noodles to fill me up. read more
