Food is excellent. If your dining in the soup is free. Also a great place to pick up a few meals.

Not bad but $16.73 (including 18% tip) is a bit much. The main gripe I have is the Teri chicken,…read more1st chicken breast is too dry, gotta cook it perfect or use thighs. 2 either marinate it overnight or cook it in heavily condensed sauce, feels like you're throwing on watery sauce on dried unseasoned chicken. 3 your sauce is too liquidy , you need to make it thicker, corn starch or potato starch should do the trick you can even use flower. The bulgogi was decent tho, and salad was cool, best of luck!

The inside was dimly lit with tables as you walk in and to the back. There is also an outside seating area. We ordered at the register and our food was brought out to us. The menu is easy to understand, but the staff was able to answer all of our questions and explain different menu items in detail. Everyone was nice and welcoming. I got the Hotstone Bibimbap (suggested by the lady who took my order because it continues to cook when served, making the rice crispy and vegetables hot. I chose white rice topped with bulgogi and spicy shrimp. For sauce, I chose Sesame and Kochi to a little add extra kick. I had the kimchi put to the side. It also came with a miso soup . This whole combination was so delicious. Stayed hot the entire time and was plenty enough to share. The Yaki Soba, which is a noodle dish, was also very flavorful, came out fresh and hot. The Japchae was equally delicious and full of flavor. The sweet potato noodle of this dish was different, but still pretty tastey. I recommend leaving this for the experienced eaters. Lastly, we tried the kimbap. It was a typical kimbap, nothing stood out. Everything came out fresh, cooked to order, and hot. The price for everything was very reasonable. I would dent come again.

Wow this place is so cool!!! I am so impressed! First of all it's like hot pot and kbbq all in one,…read moreand right in front of you! The cooking thing is so unique - half and half. So you can pick your soup base and then you basically get unlimited meat options for the table. All the sides are unlimited and they are on a conveyer belt that just goes around and you just grab what you want. It's awesome!!! The TVs show what the different sides are. But they are all great. Also you have to visit the sauce bar to make your own sauce!! That was so delicious. The house sauce is amazing and a must!!! At the end you also get a little complementary ice cream! It's a decent size too! The staff is so nice too, we accidentally arrived way too close to closing and didn't realize it but they still served us and let us stay after. So nice!!!

Really neat experience that was a little different than the hotpot I've had before…read more At Shabu everyone gets their own hot pot / hot plate. Other places I've been it was one main pot. You can choose your broth and then what to put in it. You can mix it up with spices and sauces. They bring the meat selections and the veggies and noodles go by on a constantly moving conveyer belt. And it's all you can eat! Everything was really good and I would definitely recommend trying it. The only thing missing was a glass of wine or sake. There were no alcohol choices for drinks. But you do get free ice cream at the end so save a little room for dessert.
