Chinese food take-out night is always so good when it comes to Panda Express. I love where this location is and the easy access to get here from the highway. We popped in on a Friday night right around 5pm with our family and there was no one in line yet so we had the place to ourselves for a bit. By the end of our order there had been several uber eats orders filled but everything was so efficient and fast. The staff was super nice to our kids and when we expressed interest or asked how spicy something was they were quick to offer a little sample. It made making our choices for our family meal much easier! We didn't stay and eat in but the space was really nice, bright and clean. We ordered the family meal with 3 large entrees and 2 large sides for $45. We got the chow mein, fried rice, the original orange chicken, broccoli beef, and the honey sesame chicken. I must say the veggies in the entrees were so fresh and crispy and good! And the meats themselves were also really tasty! We also ordered some veggie spring rolls (2) for $2.60 because Chinese food take out isn't complete without some spring rolls. Of course we are enjoying leftovers for several more meals making this price well worth it for our family. read more

The staff really made our family's visit here great. When my kid fell off of the stool he chose to sit on the staff came to help and that was outstanding. The food is the standard Panda Express chain fare, of course pretty tasty and family friendly. The washroom could use some maintenance as the faucet was a bit detached from the sink (though it still worked fine). The hot water dispenser did not suspense hot water at the soda fountain but otherwise the store was well-provisioned. We're likely to be back here eventually. read more

I walked in into the smell of uncooked burnt food. The people looked at me like my hat was on backwards. The food looked good, but has nothing left and it was only 1:00 PM. It's definitely cheaper than a restaurant I'll tell you. I ordered beef broccoli and noodles and my family too. The broccoli tasted weirder than normal. The beef tasted an awful and was chewy with a strange taste. the noodles were chewy and uncooked with no taste. I don't usually do fast food, and I never thought of going to Panda Express, however, there was a free trial this last week (in the middle of the -40C week) if you just registered your email. So we went..and it was okay. What I didn't like is that they have things ready to go (like in a Chinese food court in a mall) and I wanted the kung pao chicken, and she scooped out the last bit and really I think I got stiffed. And the fried rice that came with it was bland. (I should of taken a picture of my food but I was so disgruntled that I didn't). My husband thought his sweet spicy chicken was okay but it lacked spice. My kiddo loved the chow mien side noodles, and honey sesame battered chicken. And it was a decent portion. Tip - look at the hot area and pick the stuff that looks the freshest. I wouldn't run here but in a pinch if you are pressing for time and want to please your family, I think most people would find something here to eat. Really impressed! Decided to try a new franchise tonight...and boy am I pleasantly surprised! Clean. Modern. Plenty of options. Reasonable prices and friendly, helpfull staff. I had to go with a "Big plate" to get the best sampling of their wares. I pointed out to my server that it was my first time here and she quickly offered free samples of anything that caught my eye. Such a great policy! I had noodles as my main, and chose black pepper chicken, spring rolls and honey walnut shrimp (really good!). Total was ~$13 (they charge an extra $1.5 for the shrimp). Portion was just right to fill me up! All in all, I am very pleased with my 1st experience here, and I look forward to returning and exploring more of their options! read more

YUM! So glad a co-worker talked me into going here for lunch! Definitely a new favourite of mine, and I'll probably drive all the way from Summerside the next time I've got a Chinese food craving. It's set up similar to a food court Chinese food place, in the sense that the entrees are in dishes under heat lamps so that you can see them and pick what you want. However, you can clearly see into the kitchen and the large woks that are cooking them before they make it up front. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the value that you get. And the food.... oh my gosh the food. SO YUMMY! No weird textures. Nothing dried up from sitting under the lamp (they keep refilling them often, so nothing sits under there for too long). I had the orange chicken. The chicken actually tasted fresh and the sauce was a perfect mixture of sweet and tart. I honestly can't wait to go back. AND... they have a drive through! read more

Always fresh as they sell a lot of food. Feel they charge too much for the good meats. But not a game changer. Never have to pre-order.

Took my daughter there for dinner after a couple hours of skating, thinking we'd have a treat. Should've got a happy meal instead. Most of the staff seemed distant and nearly deaf. Portion sizes were light, we got a kids plate and a "bigger plate" thats their name for it I use that term lihhtly. Chow mein was dry n flavorless, sweat n sour chicken was ok, broccoli n beef tasted burnt and old, Beijing beef was horrible tasted like deep fried pancakes in canned sauce. They didnt have any clean trays for our orders and the fountain pop dispenser was leaking all over your hand when you tried to get root beer. All in all pretty terrible dinner experience for an asian restaurant. There is grocery store in the park that serves a much better Asian meal than this for a better price. read more

I really love Panda Express! The fine in experience is just like any regular Chinese buffet, myself personally I like ordering off of skip the dish. This is one of the best Chinese fast food restaurants I have ever tasted. I enjoy ordering the chow menu and the orange chicken but for any seafood lovers the walnut shrimp is a great pick. Although the Chinese food is good my least favourite item is the cream cheese ragoons the outter shell has an awful stale taste and flour residue, I'd prefer the outside be similar to the wrapping of the chicken spring roll. read more

honestly the worst service ive ever had had a fast food place. i ordered online and it said itd be ready by 6:25 and when i get there they explain its another 5-10 minutes for the shrimp and i said thats fine n i waited but 20 minutes go by and its still not done so i ask whats going on and they said the shrimp will be another 5-10 minutes?? by now im frustrated n i already paid online so i had to wait for it then when i finally get my food 5 minutes later i take it all the way home to my home in fort saskatchewan and i open the containers to see MY ORDER WASNT EVEN RIGHT!? im honestly so disappointed with this service and up until this point this place has been spot on but tonight was just unbelievable. if i could give a 0/5 i would. read more

It's a hit or miss. Sometimes food is good and sometimes everything is empty. If you don't mind waiting, ask them to cook fresh.

Since it's a well known fast food chain in US, I decided to give a try last week. I love Americanized Chinese food as well as Traditional food so this not about authenticity whatever. When i entered the restaurant, buffet was so empty like as if the restaurant was done making food. I went there around 1 and it's kinda sad that i got the last bit of the food. I ordered a small combo with rice, honey pepper chicken and one item which i don't recall. All I can say is it taste good as an airline food or hospital food court food but it wasn't worth going out of your way to try this place. The food was pretty bland and not special. I had better Chinese combos here in Sherwood Park. I probably wont try again. read more
