Teriyaki chicken with veggies and fried rice
Bradly P.

Located in the Las Americas Premium outlet shopping mall lays Panda Express right before you cross into the Mexico border! After a heavy day of shopping and walking throughout the mall we decided to swing in to grab a quick bite before we walked even more. The line seemed long running through the outside of the door but moved fairly quick. As we entered we seemed as if we were being rushed to order without even looking what they had to offer just to get the line going as to get the customers in and get them out as quick as possible. After briefly looking to what they had I quickly ordered my food. The line items they displayed were running low and a lot were out and there was empty slots with no food on it. We ended up paying for our food and sat outside on one of the tables they have to offer facing the border. The food was ok but nothing special as to where the beef and broccoli was cooked right and the broccoli was very green and vibrant while the meat was tender and sauced good. The teriyaki chicken was a little dry probably due to sitting on the cutting board waiting for the next person to order it to be sliced away while glazed with sauce. The rice and noodles were okay but nothing to extravagant about it. The temperature of the food wasn't piping hot but yet not cold but decent. We ended up having to go back inside to try to get a spoon but yet there was no spoon just chopsticks and a fork. Decent fast food for a quick bite on the go but just be prepared to have what you want in your mind before ordering because chances are you will probably be rushed when ordering but overall just A-OK in my books yet there our better Panda Express locations out there with more tastier food and customer service!

The food was good the service was ok 9 ppl in line had to wait 4 mins not bad the food was hot and good and the place was clean

Bowl when receipt show 2 item plate.

Panda Express contacted me and sent me the free entree card for their failure to provide me with everything I paid for the first time. Although when I go to use it (at the same store that stole my money) for a 2 item plate they tell me it has to be three items. However they're capable of removing one of two items. TL:DR Panda Express will steal your money.

Your typical American-Chinese fast food go to place.. This location is at the Las America's Premium outlet. Nice and tidy inside but not enough seating.. this isn't the first time I have stopped by for some lunch combo and every time I come in it's a hit or miss with the seating.. either all taken or lucky me I get to sit! They have their "panda tea bar" at this location and I tried their strawberry flavor tea and it was ok.. reminded me of something you can pop open in a can. Customer service is good. Try to get you in and out. Lines can be long if it's a busy day at the outlet.

This is how their rice look ! Imposible to chew hard disgusting rice

This is the worst Panda Express i have ever been to , their service is bad and food is old , it seems they don't replace the tray unless the food is 100% done . Food not fresh at all . I now still feel my stomach upset after eating their food . Hopefully they start doing some changes .

Hmm.. What should I say first... Well, I ordered kung pao chicken, NOT kung pao zucchini... I only had 2 small pieces of chicken and the rest was zucchini. I went back in to show them my entree & actually gave me one side of kung pao. Also, my man's Beijing beef was too hard to the point where it was really hard for healthy adults to chew.. Service was good :) nice workers

Count your shrimp with this one! Horrible

No line had to wait 5 minutes until girl gets 5 dishes reset! I'm in a hurry fast food right?? Then she hops me on the $3 extra shrimp. She said it was 7 per serving I had 5!!! Had to get another server to give me 1 more! Please get some customer service training! These girls earn too much!!! Won't be going back there again. Horrible

Thats the bowl i got.

A nice new Popeyes. Will the service be better than others nearby which is generally not very good?…read moreComing in, it was pretty empty but everything was new and clean, the place looked nice. I ordered my food and it came out pretty quick. It was a to go order. I took my cup to the soda machine and tried one. Then the next. Then another. The machine and ingredients hadn't been set up properly. It was just basically soda syrup in a cup. It was nasty. I asked if they could fill the cup with whatever they used for the drive through, the girl claimed it was the same. Ok, so i spent $2 or $3 on disgusting syrupy liquid that I threw down the drain when I got home. For what it's worth, other than that, they were pretty kind and professional, and our food was good. I guess with Popeyes in San Diego, you can't have it all, though. Their management will read the bad reviews - I assume - and just keep doing the same things.

Never put it down as they are handling exposed food! saying bad words in spanish. Extremely unprofessional and tacky. My food came out very cold and rubbery. The only person working is the girl. I BETTER not get sick!! I see popeyes has low stars. They need better management!!! They dont care!!!

Although I've been a frequent patron of the KFC at San Ysidro Boulevard and Border Village Road for…read moreyears, I'm seriously contemplating taking a long, indefinite hiatus from visiting there again. I have many reasons for this. First, as I was at the restaurant on Tuesday morning, 30 July, I saw the same older (50s?) man that I've seen a number of times waltz into the restaurant and fill his Double Gulp cup from 7-Eleven with soda from KFC's dispenser do so again. The guy then went outside and smoked a cigarette at one of the tables RIGHT OUTSIDE the door. When I spoke with Luis (the manager in charge and the person who took my order) about it, he said that, although the guy shouldn't do that, he was helping Luis by cleaning the windows. (I wonder. If this guy wants to help so much, why doesn't he apply for a crew member or maintenance position? At the very least, why wasn't he given a KFC cup? At least THAT WAY he could perhaps do what he's doing a bit more "legitimately". As for him smoking right outside the door, he ought not do that at all.) Honestly, I don't care if the guy repainted the restaurant single-handedly and did a perfect job. Filling a cup that came from outside with soda from the restaurant's dispenser could still be a hygiene concern, as I mentioned to Luis. I also told him that doing so is almost like filling a cup that someone retrieved from the trash. At one point, I asked Luis if Karla (Carla?) is still the general manager. He replied that he's the manager in charge and the GM isn't available. I then told him that he didn't answer my question, and repeated the question. While I was waiting for my receipt that Luis told me from the outset wasn't readily available, he and I got into a bit of a not-so-pleasant conversation. I had walked back up to the counter twice after being told that my receipt would be ready in fifteen minutes, then five minutes respectively. When I was at the counter the third time (second return trip), I mentioned that I don't have all day. He then copped an attitude. Among other things, he said that I "always" complain about something. He also asked if I don't like the service at the restaurant, why don't I go elsewhere (as I recall)? When I told him he ought to drop his attitude, he told me that I need to do the same. I then asked who's the employee and who's the client? Also, at one point, he told me that he needed to attend to another client and I needed to leavr him alone. When I told him that he has no right to tell me what to do, he said that I don't have the right to tell him what to do, either. (I hadn't tried to tell him what to do. I just said that I don't have too much time to wait. )I then told him that he's on the wrong side of the counter to be telling me what to do. At one point, after leaving a message on Karla's (Carla's?) voicemail, I mentioned possibly contacting the health department. When Luis told me to do whatever I wanted, I thanked him for his invitation, but said I didn't need it. Although I could've carried myself better, Luis should've as well. At one point, I made a comment about him copping the attitude and expressed surprise that he's a manager. As I stated above, maybe I'll take Luis up on his invite to eat elsewhere.

Service took forever even though I was the only one that came in the drive thru. The lady at the window handed me a bag and said everything's in there. But i had to remind her of my credit card. When me and my kids got home, i opened the kids meals and it only contained fries and the activity packs. No tenders at all! My order of pickle fries was also missing. So now i have kids starving and i ended up having to give them my combo meal instead. I called the store and spoke to a guy (which i saw in the window earlier that looked like a manager). I explained to him what happened and he said to come back to the store. I can't even go back anymore as it's another 20 mins back. I asked if he can just refund me my missing items and said that i still needed to come back to the store with the card. I'm beyond annoyed at this point so i asked what's the store number so i can complain to corporate which he had to put me on hold to find it. Like seriously?! I asked him if he was the manager and he said yes. As a manager, you should know your store number. I asked for his name and he just did not say anything. I waited a little and he refused to give me his name. I told him, that's okay, thank you for nothing and hung up. I then called the corporate office and submitted a complaint online. I will never go back to this place. I'd give them negative stars if i could.

We walked in around noon expecting the place to be fully packed and it was. In order to save time we went straight for the kiosk. Our chicken nuggets? Sauceless! When I went to ask for BBQ I was informed that "company policy only allowed for one sauce per customer". The kiosk has given me an option for three sauces. We were left to eat our stale 20 piece chicken nuggets with one sauce. Now, let's discuss the chicken sandwich. We ordered an Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich and received two buns with a nugget sized piece of Buttermilk Crispy Chicken. The disappointment! The horror!
