Service sucks they didn't want to take my order through the phone , had a box truck couldn't get through drive thru and app wasn't working

WOW! Panda Express on 35 sucks! Went to the drive thru to order a plate with chow main with orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp (both which are so delish). Problem is not the food. It's the clowns they got running this place. When I ordered they said the shrimp was almost done cooking it would take 4 mins. After 6 mins passed she came and asked me to wait another 10 mins because now they were out of orange chicken! HOW AND THE HELL DO YALL RUN OUT OF ORANGE CHICKEN?! It's not busy and that's the most popular item. After waiting 17 total mins finally recived the food. TOTAL DRIVE THROUGH TIME 28 mins! This isn't the first time I've had to wait at this location. I would say I wont be coming back but realistically I probably will. LUCKY THE FOOD TASTES GOOD! read more

If I could rate them a zero I would. My son likes the "bowl" with no side. She refused to give us a bowl because it "has to come with a side." Seems a little silly they want to force you to eat something you don't want. We will continue to eat at our local Panda and will not be back here. read more

Best Panda Express I've been to! Food was great but the service was even better! Employees there were attentive, courteous, and they all seemed to really enjoy their job. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and very well kept! Was just passing through the area, but if we are headed that way again, we would absolutely go back! read more

Super bummed that they left the eggroll out of my simple order, especially when it's not even busy and we were literally the only people in the drive thru. And I was still charged the full amount. Probably not going back. read more

They always forget the teriyaki sauce for the teriyaki chicken. When I asked about it, I was told it already has teriyaki sauce on it. No, it does not. Anyways, they always mess up orders and the food has slowly turned to garbage. Junk food and poor customer service. read more

Paid $10 for a decent meal...they didn't mention it came with food poisoning. I stopped eating when I tried the shrimp(it tasted like dirt.)

I was so excited when Panda Express opened this location in San Marcos. There are a couple of Chinese restaurants in town, but none that do fast food or have a drive-thru. We stopped here to eat lunch while doing Christmas shopping and planned to eat in. My boyfriend and I ordered but could see they were low on noodles so the service person asked if we wanted to wait on some fresh noodles being made and she would hold our plates. But then the other service person proceeded to keep doling out the noodles to the next three people in line who were then going around us in line because they already had their food while we were stuck waiting like suckers. I was disappointed and we walked out to go to a nice sit-down restaurant for lunch instead. I like Panda's food, but being ignored and passed over was frustrating to say the least. I'm very willing to give them another chance, but hopefully it doesn't happen next time. read more

This place will literally lock the doors before closing time if they see you coming in. The service is absolutely HORRIBLE. I stood by the line to be served and waited at least 10 minutes for anyone to speak to me, as workers were walking by, not one spoke to or helped me. Come to find out all the workers were gabbing by the to go window instead of doing their job. The second time I made a visit i showed up 20 minutes before closing time and watched one of the workers run to the door and lock it before my friends and I could go in. It would've been nice if we could've gotten our food and then sat outside if they were so worried about closing on time. Overall this is one of the absolute worst panda expresses. read more

The store was clean. However, they have really cut back on the portion size of the entree. They gave me a lot of chow mein and very little chicken and green beans. This is not the first time so that is why I am mentioning it. read more

If you go here you know you are ordering fast food and you shouldnt expect much! However, it is quite delicious and fast if you are not too picky about your Chinese food! I have never had a problem with this location either. read more

Don't get Shanghai beef if you enjoy asparagus. Apparently it's "not in season" so they substitute green beans and its no comparison, but they won't tell you that at the time of ordering.. I also ordered tso chicken.. I'm not sure which was it because one was great and instead of Beijing beef I got another kinda chicken. One was in a spicy sweet sauce, which was good. The other was like chicken nuggets in a salty brown sauce...to top it off the lo mein was not fresh. I live about 30 min away and when I called in about my order all they offered to replace was the Beijing beef. I'm not happy, neither is my husband whom shared this order. Just went to the Panda Express in San Marcos...service was good, the young lady working the window was very nice. I order a 2 entree plate got..orange chicken and broccoli beef, with fried rice. The orange chicken was a little on the spicy side but good. The broccoli was overlooked and beef was tough. Don't think I'll get that again. On this menu they said they sale hot &a sour soup. Panda Express doesn't sell hot & sour soup. Will go back again and get the orange chicken you can't go wrong with that. Yum read more

I love Panda Express as quick Chinese. And sadly, San Marcos is seriously lacking in good Chinese. The Chinese here is better than other Chinese in San Marcos, and cheaper too. read more

What am I eating? The chicken in both my kung pao and pepper chicken is inedible. Mystery, rubbery, sinewy (supposedly) chicken is not appetizing. This restaurant consistently has inedible food. So I decided to use the online ordering because I just wanted to be able to walk in and receive my food without driving though and ordering. When I got there at the time my receipt said it would be ready, absolutely nothing was ready. It was also about 45 minutes to closing, and I'm assuming this is why they were rude. To me, 45 minutes to closing is still a long time, and as someone who has worked in a restaurant (a REAL, sit down restaurant), having someone just come in, grab their food, and leave is way easier than having a family come in, sit down and order, and wait for everyone's meals. Extremely disappointed the steamed rice must of had yesterday's rice mixed in, hard lumps. Calling the store just got us a oh well come back we can give you a new serving of rice. Seeing how this location is 15 miles from our house i am not turning around to drive a thirty minute trip for two bowls of rice. They did get my name and order number but no other contact info. Good food generally. Terriyaki Chicken is hit or miss and sometimes the sauce is boiled down and chunky (if it is even offered).
