This location can screw up the simplest of orders. They talk so fast at the drive through you can't understand them. I usually speak slowly to make sure they get my order right but, nearly every time, they screw it up. I am probably going inside and/ or if I do return to the drive through, I'll have to check the order before I leave. Which is a real pain in the ass the way they stuff heavier items on top of the cubs (kids) meals and smash the crap out of everything. It was a total fricking mess when I finally made it home, and it made a huge mess in my kitchen just trying to unpack the bag carefully so as not to spill everything (which I did anyway). A simple order, not one thing right on it. They weren't that busy but I guess the idi- .... people working there are either very stupid or don't pay attention to what they are doing. I am a huge fan of Panda Express...you know what you are getting, good quality, and the service is normally great. In this case no idea how the food tasted because I didn't get that far. Walked in and the folks working there were talking and finally recognized me. Looking at the foods in the pans, totally unappetizing. My wife just brought home lunch she picked up at the drive through... she ordered the new wok steak and shrimp... no shrimp... she got me the chicken teriyaki, very dry... I'm more concerned about paying for a item, and not receiving it... I guess you have to sit at the drive through window, when you pick up your order, and check each and every item in the containers, to prevent this. Negative five ** stars. I have no idea what part of the chicken they use but it is beyond gross! Do not waste your money and time at this or any other Panda Express.. they all use the same crap chicken. Never again for me.. we ordered the mushroom chicken and Kung pao chicken. Both had just terrible fatty chicken parts and not edible. The veggie spring roll was tasty but not enough to warrant another visit. If in Royse city, go across the street to Rice Express.. they are great and very fast and always use quality chicken. I even tried to give my feedback to panda via the phone number on the back of my receipt and even that phone system is down now and not taking any more calls. The last three times I've gone to this location there is a 15-20 minute wait on entrees. They run out all the time. They don't have tea ever anymore. Tonight I went to order and there was a 15 minute wait on 2 entrees I wanted and they were completely out of another completely. Worst run location in the area. I forgot to add, they also no longer carry any tea at all. Last few times I tried to order tea they told me they switched vendors and don't have tea anymore. Smh. Royse City's Panda Express I haven't eaten PE in years so tonight I decided to grab a bite through the drive thru and be on my way. I usually check my order before driving off but I didn't do that tonight. I ordered a broccoli and beef bowl with fried rice. What I discovered when I got to my destination was a bowl of *white rice with 3 tiny pieces of beef and 5 broccoli florets with barely any sauce.. I pretty much paid $6.50 for a bowl of plain white rice. I should have gone with my first choice and grabbed a burger. read more

My husband and I have been here multiple times. EVERY SINGLE TIME, they do not have the entrees that are offered on the menu (different entrees) and no sauce that is always available at the Rockwall location. Will never go to this poorly run location anymore. Five stars for sure. My family loves Panda's and always consider it a treat. The local Panda's in Rockwall is terrible so we were so glad when this one opened. We've been here several times since it opened, both eat-in and to-go. It's always been great. Chicken/beef dishes are always super flavorful, and the portions are generous. The meat seems well trimmed and cooked perfectly - no overcooked hard pieces here. They're always cooking more in the kitchen to keep the ready-to-serve food fresh. Rice and chow mein are cooked well too. Neither under done or over done, not too dry not too moist. Folks working here are friendly, always throw in a few extra fortune cookies for my kids. The restaurant is always clean too, nothing sticky on the tables or floor. read more

I shop here all the time, and so tonight when I drove up and saw that the drive-through digital menu was down, I still wanted to try and get a meal. I drove up to the window, with about five cars behind me, and knocked on the window for a bit. About five or more minutes later, a server walked up and said that since the drive through menu was down, we had to come inside to order. Seems like if he could open the window to talk to me, he could've taken all of our orders. Instead he talked to a lady at the counter for close to ten minutes. Go somewhere else, I love Panda Express, I go there because the food is suppose to be fresh and the service is great. This location was horrible and I am so disappoint. I went thru the drive thru and they told me the vegetables would take 15 minutes because they are backed on other items being cook.(I don't understand why because it wasn't late(7pm) and they are located in a busy area) so, I was understandable and just ordered grilled teriyaki chicken with noodles. When I got to the window I paid and took the food when I looked at the chicken it was dry and the noodles looked like they were sitting out a while. And on top of everything NO Teriyaki sauce. How you have teriyaki chicken without the sauce. Okay so when I asked for it they gave me packages of sauce. (remember I said I came here for the freshness, package sauces aren't hot and fresh). This was the third strike (no vegetables, no orange chicken, no fresh sauce, and the food did not look edible.) so I asked for my money back. The girl taking my order apologized and got the manager. The manager was rude and didn't brother with offering me other options instead she was talking at a high pitch. She didn't even apologize. she kept saying she manager on duty and she can't give my money back and to come back in the morning. I explain that I lived 45 mins away and can not came back and I would just like my money back if she can call someone else and see how they can do it. The end result ; she called the cops AFTER taking my receipt and the food from me. I don't have the food nor the money what else was I suppose except wait. I didn't yell at her nor did I use profanity but yet Three cops were called on me. I am a black female, and in today world cops are not the best advocate. When the white cop came to my door and said I was causing a disturbance before hearing my side I instantly felt unsafe and my anxiety went sky high. This white female manager told the cops I threw the receipt at her but I did not (there was no way I could have thrown the receipt at her when I handed both the receipt and food upon request). Calling the cops was not necessary when I wasn't a threat. I'm so disappointed and will never eat there again. I also got a small sweet tea and when I went to go fill my cup up with sweet tea it was completely unsweet, I walked up to the cashier and informed her and she looked at me like I was stupid and handed me Splenda... My first time to this Panda Express and I'm not too impressed. First off, when I pulled up to the screen, the cars order in front of me was just then finishing out And totaling. After a little bit, The guy finally asked to take my order asking if I would like to donate $100 or $500 to St. Jude. Really?? I couldn't believe it but I told him no and began to place my order. He totaled it out before I was even finished. I told him I wasn't through and wanted to add an order of the cream cheese rangoons. He informed me they were out. No cream cheese rangoons. Omg. I had the oddest experience at this place. Usually when you order food and the person in front of you has to wait because something is being made, you are allowed to skip them, pay, and leave. Here? No. On top of that if you do go to pay so your ready food can be taken away to be eaten, they will call you out. At his point it was really my fault for just not walking out but I was hungry, if only I knew I was not hungry enough for this food. After the awkward experience of being told I can pay after this guy waited for his food, I finally got to pay and leave so I can eat my takeout. Upon eating, all my food was cold, to the point I really should have reported them to the health department because there is no way this food is healthy to eat, it was that cold and probably full of bacteria since it was allowed to set cold at the restaurant. This is the worst panda express I have ever been to. Obviously, poorly managed. They deserve every bad review they have gotten. I will never come back and my view of panda express has gone negative to the point I may never visit one again due simply to how bad this experience was. They deserve less than 1 star. read more
