The place is clean and the employees are nice. The complaint I have is that if you provide table service, bring the food to the table and don't just set it on the counter. Literally one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I live in Royse City and I forgot how many times I've given this place a try. 90% of the time the food is cold, old and/or wrong. Don't even think about trying to customize anything. Things also tend to taste different from normal flavoring you get from McDonald's which means there is a quality issue at the very least. I now drive 10 minutes down the road to the next McDonald's off the 30 in Fate. A new McDonald's that is possibly one of the best. this McDonald's had a crusty bathroom, no offense to the cleaners they do really great job, but when I went in there, there's Dookie smeared all over the toilet seat in the lid and I saw a little bit on the walls and then I went to go wash my hands, but there was no soap, but the food was scrumdiddlyumptious. This place for the most part is ok just another McDonald's nothing more nothing less. My complaint is that they never get a large order right, something is always missing or prepared incorrectly. If I stop by just for myself 99% of the time everything is fine. When I have grandkids over and I order for 5 or 6 people then 100% of the time the order is wrong or something is missing despite them verifying on the to go menu board and verifying at the pay window. It is a hit or a miss. The food is usually really good, but they keep forgetting items I've already paid for so always check your order when getting food from Drive-thru. This week they forgot the fries, last we they forget the nuggets. Also, if you ask for extra onions, they repeat extra onions, the screen says extra onion, check your order because 1/3 of the time I get absolutely zero onions. My daughter applied at this McDonalds, was interviewed and told she was hired. The hiring manager instructed her to purchase non slip shoes and let them know when she had done this and they would have her come in for training. She called back nearly every day, left messages, went there to tell them to let her know when she would start training. This is probably the worst McDonald's I have been in. And the bar is set pretty low to begin with. I don't expect five star service at a place like this but I do expect the order taker to know how to punch in the order and count change. It's an idiot-proof register with pictures and big letters and it tells you how much change to give back. But apparently they found a brain surgeon in this town who could barely speak, much less operate a register. And I had two women order in front of me who had apparently never been to a McDonald's judging by how long it took to order.
