I am shocked by the negative reviews at this place. I think it is excellent and whenever I swing through Eugene I made a point to eat here.

First this Lady names Nei, Neila whatever her name is she kept telling this employee named Adrian that he was made a mistake of letting someone go to lunch because the line got big all of the sudden. Adrian told her that line wasn't big when she left and she just kept bothering him over and over. She was so unprofessional and then she kept . Telling him that tomorrow she was going to talk to boss And honestly Adrian had a good attitude with the rest of the customer and kept doing his job and that lady just kept on nagging. Her Energy in general was horrible. Then we had to wait around 15-20 for one of the entree to be ready so yeah basically a very unpleasant visit to Panda Express. read more

This location is the worst location of any I have been to. The managers do not keep the place staffed correctly. The last time I was there, they had a line out the door, 1 person making plates and ringing people up, while 4 employees were in the back with the manager tossing something around and playing a game with each other. I walked up and asked the manager why it is taking so long to get orders taken, and she replied that they are understaffed. I laughed and said, "no, you are not understaffed. You are playing around in the back instead of being out front to help customers, and you can not make up an excuse when the issue is right there in front of everyone and we can all see the lack of professionalism and customer service". But it also is obvious that the owner does not care or take it seriously. They do not respond to yelp reviews or care to make their services any better. read more

What's with the greasy food?? Chow mein was full of grease and nothing but vegetables which I don't mind but I'm sure other people might have seen a problem with that. I know my great-grandson did he loves your chow mein but tonight he didn't even want to eat it. String bean chicken was full of grease and so was the beef with broccoli. I had lunch today at Panda in Riverbank and I have to say it was the absolute worst Panda I've been to. I had walnut shrimp and green bean chicken to go. I was expecting to open the box to the sweet honey walnut scent with golden fried shrimp but when I opened the box the shrimp had an extremely strong odor that was most certainly bad. I didnt take one bite of any of the food. I drove back to return the food and tell them they needed to get rid of the pan of honey walnut shrimp and replace with fresh product. I asked to get refunded as my lunch time was up and I had to return to work. The manager Zach said he would have to callhis general manager TAMMY before refunding my money. He comes back and says Tammy won't refund my money but will replace the food. I did not want any food from this place now and I was amazed she refused a refund when their food was rotten. Zach said they have been giving to many refunds and were wellnot able to give anymore. Well I'd say that is an Indication of bad management and surely bad food. I recently went to this panda with my family and we had 5 orders in total. We were offing many different entries and one ordered beef and broccoli... the plate was only broccoli and no beef, that is what made us upset first of all and then we wanted to order rangoon's and Korea said we don't have any of those because they ran out. let you know it was a Monday... they got a shipment in early today but nothing was being made. i'm disappointed. read more

I didn't get what I ordered online. I specifically wrote that I wanted Diet Coke because the order was for a Diabetic and when I got home they gave me a regular coke. I didn't get any of the sauces I requested. When I called the store the girl on the phone was nice but I could hear her relying my message to the manager, I heard him being extremely rude and did not care about the medical emergency giving a Diabetic a regular soda can cause. He was yelling at the girl saying well what does she want. The girl said a refund and he didn't give me that. Rude manager and the ordering system is a nightmare. This location is very slow but the real reason I don't like it is because they never want to make the eggplant tofu. That item is on their menu but probably not super popular. Every time it's the same story- they ask the cook and he says he doesn't want to make it and then they proceed to tell me they "are out". Boo. read more

While I had been looking forward to having a Panda closer to my house, this new location has been a let down. For starters, the layout makes no sense. The line begins so close to the door that you have to be way too close to everyone else in line, even when there are only 4 or 5 people in front if you. Not having any place to stand in line just makes no sense, and during the 3 or 4 times I've been there, I've seen people walk up to the door and then decide to go someplace else because there was no place to stand. Besides the line issue, the service is slower than what I'm used to at other Panda locations. I thought it was just that most of the people working there might be new, but after going a few different times, it hasn't been much better. The people working there were pleasant enough, but they had a hard time getting my order correct. On one occasion they left part of my order on the counter and were about to give it to the person behind me before I realized I was missing it. The food was ok every time I've been there, though not as good as other Panda locations. Overall, when I'm craving Panda, I'd prefer to drive a little farther to the one on Floyd. read more

Today after asking for a certain dish, the employee asked the cook how long until its ready he told her "can't she see its right there in front of her". VERY VERY poor service and EXTREMELY slow!!! God forbid you have one item and the person in front of you is ordering for 4 people, they won't ring you up just to help and decrease the cluttered store full of people. They have ONE person taking orders and ONE standing at the register FIDDLING her fingers waiting to ring someone up. The Asian Indian (gal or appears to be, I would say woman but doesn't seem she is much of an adult. When asking if I can just check out, she asserts, "No, it'll confuse the line and we do it in order." Lol She asserts, "we cannot do that." We don't eat out much, but I came here to get lunch for my boys and decided I would get a small entree for myself. The menu is slightly confusing when you're being rushed through the line. When I went to pay for my items it totaled $35.00, for three kids meals and two small entree's, which both had about 5 pieces of shrimp in each container. They charged me $5 for 5 pieces of shrimp!!! Worst food ever chowmein was dry. Rice had no flavor. I was served 3 pieces of broccoli and a spoonful of beef. The kung pao chicken was poorly made as well. Not enough food. Chef in kitchen did not look like happy at all. Girl who serves rice and chowmein looked lost had too many orders piling up food just getting cold. I do not recommend this place at all!! As far as pandas go, this is not my favorite. Food is ok. My issue with this panda is that they are one of the SLOWEST I have been to and the line starts 2 feet from the door. This causes a fiasco trying to wait in line, people trying to exit are blocked, and new people entering cut in front because they don't know any better. The layout is not ideal. Now their orange chicken is too spicy to eat, their rice has corn in it and has no flavor and their mandarin chicken is now "teriyaki chicken" with a sauce that makes it like soup. Their cream cheese wontons weren't so bad though. In all honesty, this restaurant has never been good since day 1 of its opening. Every time I've gone there, the same terrible service ends up happening to me. First, the food is nothing compared to other nearby restaurants who make it as it should be. Either the food is burnt, undercooked, or just simply bad. For example, today's trip, we had ordered 4 plates of most of what's on the menu, and basically on display there was no food or it had been standing there for quite a while. We received freshly cooked chow mein, but it was undercooked that most went to the trash. Their new sesame chicken tasted like pure flour - barely any of its "signature sauce". I believe everything else was probably fine. Next, the sauces for the teriyaki chicken was served hot enough to burn yourself, that the lid was melting and was blowing itself up like a balloon from the steam inside. And it took quite a while for it to cool down. Their staff, as always, were slow and unmotivated the entire time. This had been going on for a long time as well. One man who was serving us, was blankly staring at the ceiling as if he were bored while we ordered. The other staff were slow-working, and were basically standing there. Their mood made the entire restaurant seem depressing and boring. Lastly, the floors, tables and seating are usually sticky, and could do better if simple, watery rags weren't just only used.
