I know my reputation in the yelp community will probably take a hit for leaving a five star review for a fast food chain, but come on people! The same day this place dropped into rexburg it was instantly the best Chinese food in town! Service? Who cares, it's fast food. Those employees want to be working there about as much as you would want to. Cleanliness? Yea it's pretty clean, but I wouldn't really care anyway because it's fast food... Food? Not great by any means, but again it's the best Chinese rexburg has to offer, and again ITS FREAKING FAST FOOD! Bottom line: If you want fantastic Chinese food (and the same terrible customer service) visit somewhere with a somewhat decent population of actual Chinese people (San Francisco is a good start). read more

My wife and I got home on Christmas day after traveling since 1am that morning. We were exhausted, very hungry and didn't have food in the house since we were vacationing the past two weeks. Panda Express was the only place open on Christmas. Now I know working on Christmas isn't ideal. But Panda was supposed to be open until 9pm and we arrived at 8:39. We pull up to the speaker to place our order and one of the employees asked what we would like to order. So I start placing our orders and there was no response. I asked if she could hear me. No response. I wait, assuming there might be just one employee working and maybe she was helping another customer. Still silence. I wait a few more minutes and silence. At this point I think maybe the speaker was broken. So I pull up to the window and the lady was standing there shaking her head at me from behind a closed window and motioning for me to leave. So instead of just tell us on the intercom that they were closing, they ask us what we would like to order, then ignore us and essentially give us the metaphorical middle finger to go home. The employees who worked on Christmas should be fired for being so unprofessional and discourteous. On top of that, we waited in the parking lot just incase we misinterpreted everything and they meant for us to take our order in a waiting spot, and we saw the cows called employees scooping up the last of the food and take it home for themselves. There was a lot of food. Anyways...definitely calling into corporate tomorrow and ratting them out. My wife and I had to drive to Idaho Falls to an overpacked Carls Jr Drive Thru just to eat on Christmas. read more

I know we got a kids meal but really? Apart from being charged extra we only got like 3 "shrimp" most of it was just the breading, & the box was more than half empty. Please, please, PLEASE install a koala care diaper changing station in your bathroom! This is a community with a LOT of young families with babies, myself included, and I know we ALL would greatly appreciate not having to change our babies diapers on the floor of your bathrooms. :( :( :( Everything else about the restaurant was great, we have been back several times since you opened, and have loved it every time, except for the fact that there is no change table. Very friendly fast service. Food was good. Only complaint I have is that the portions of entrees is way smaller. When I've gone to other Panda Express locations in the past they fill the whole corner of the carry out tray with your selected entree. This time they filled about 3/4 of the entire container with my side (rice) and then put my given entree (orange chicken) on top of it in the corner. Leaving only about 1/3 or what you would normally get. Not sure if this was an employee mistake or if the management wants to do it this way to save money on food costs. Food is alright but the portions are terrible. I usually order a bowl of chow mein and grilled teriyaki but I get mostly all chow mein. Who the heck wants more chow mein than chicken? They need more Asian workers, they know how people like their food. read more

We ordered the "bigger plate" option for each person in our group of 6. All three entrees were literally dumped into each of the take-out containers - piled on top of each other instead of in a separate container for the third entree. All the flavors and sauces were mixed in and absorbed by the rice since it was just in a big pile. The amount of food was small - how do they expect to fit three entrees as well as a side of lo mein or rice all in the same take-out container? The answer: shrink the sizes and smash them in. We were very disappointed. The lo mein was very dry and had no flavor - maybe we got the bottom of the barrel. We won't be going back any time soon. read more

This is one of the best Panda Express locations I've been too. The staff is friendly, the dining room is clean, and the food is always on point. I also love how big the dining room is at this location! Despite the crazy long lines they've had since opening day, the kitchen is great with keeping up and the line moves pretty quickly. read more

I usually am pleased with the decent service I receive at Panda Express and their delicious food. However, it is disappointing that they usually run out of food when they get close to closing time. Today, we went to the Rexburg Panda Express to grab a quick bite on our drive home. We tried to enter the dining room to order and the door was locked despite the sign on the door saying the dining room closes at 8:30 (it was 8:15). After this, we decided to go and order at the drive thru which was open until 9:30. As we tried to order our first meal, they informed us that they only had enough rice left for one order even though they did not close for another hour and 15 minutes. At this point, we decided to take our business elsewhere. Hopefully these issues can be fixed and we can continue to enjoy Panda Express in the future. read more

This panda express is very much hit or miss. Sometimes i think it's the best Panda Express I've ever had. and other times there are absolutely NO noodles in the chow mein. I think that is unacceptable. when the chow mein is 75% vergetables, it is practically inedible. the honey sesame chicken is always a hit though. read more

So.. I'm from Cali and literally never go to Panda bc Mr. Yous is the ish. Anyhoe i came here ON MY BDAY to celebrate with friends bc idk i was feelin chinese food and this is the best i could get. Long story short I got food poisoning an hour later from the honey walnut shrimp and threw up every hour all night and couldn't eat for 3 days bc of this place. The soda is watered down to where one can't savor the flavor of the drink. Chow mein was mainly just the veggies. Big disappointment when they also charge extra for the walnut shrimp when only receiving 6 shrimps in total. Horrible customer service!! Ordered a bowl with Sesame Chicken and barely got 3 small pieces. I drove all the way back to showed them and all they kept saying was that looks like the normal amount and that their manager was making them give less now. They acted like it was so hard to give me the normal amount that I paid for and made it very uncomfortable to even deal with them. They definitely need better customer service training and not have an attitude when dealing with customers. I will not be going back anytime soon! read more

Server marisol isn't a friendly person!! She doesn't listen put wrong selection in the boxes and gets snappy when you tell her she made a mistake! Asked for military discount which normally we get going though drive though and at Idaho falls location marisol snapped said we don't give that discount! We also ate in and she kept pointing at us telling her co-workers and as one past by my husband try say excuse me and looked over but just walked right past us didn't get her name- we also talked to a lady named Chelsea on the way out and she apologized for others and was helpful at getting number to call about this horrible experience read more

One of the employees threw a package of napkins from behind the counter across the room toward another employee who did not catch the package. It landed on a table. When I told the manager about it she was not at all concerned. In fact, she asked me why I was upset about it. I explained that I don't want to eat at a restaurant in which the employees through things around the dining room and that I could have been in the way of the projectile. She said "Well you weren't" (over where the package was thrown). Then, she told me twice in front of two of the employees and a couple of customers "If you don't like it here, you are welcome to not come back." Then she complained that I had rolled my eyes while ordering because she told me they were out of fried rice. Apparently she was offended that I was unhappy that there was no fried rice. Since she was the aggrieved party due to the vicious eye rolling, she could tell me not to come back. read more

I will be completely honest this Panda Express is fantastic. It has a unique design and I mean that in a good way. Very modern looking and probably the only Panda that looks this way that I have ever seen. Places in this town get busy and can I say the design for more seating at this location is a plus and a long drive thru is somewhat of an amazing design. The location was designed to handle the crowds. The place looks clean. Bathrooms are one person which can be a downside but it is ok because I can actually find a seat. The food is delicious and it is better than the other Panda's I have been to. The food was delicious and well cooked. The staff are very friendly and know what they are doing. It is a great location and a great value for the community of Rexburg. We finally have some Chinese food in this town that is better than the current options. Do not go here on a Sunday when the Mormon workers are ready to be off!! We just went in for dinner TO GO after fly fishing all day. Their lobby was open till 8:30 and drive thru open till 9:00 as soon as we walked in at 8:25 the lobby was already closed and half the items were empty. The server was very rude informing us they closed at 8:30 so I asked ok but you're still open for take out right which she replied I guess as she rolled her eyes and looked at the other customers that had waked in. Needles to say the whole experience was bad, we had to wait for items to be cooked the entire staff was upset about all the customers that came in even though the doors were unlocked and our food was cold from waiting. I will never go to this location again. If you're in a customer service position where you might have to prepare food at the last minute because your technically still open and the doors aren't locked do it with kindness and don't make your customers feel like crap for eating at your restaurant! read more

I checked out the web page and the photos of the food were spectacular, and I do enjoy Chinese food. However when I got there and saw what was offered it didn't look much like what I had seen in the photos. The photos show nuggets of chicken that are beautifully deep fried to a light golden brown. What I saw and got was something quite the opposite. Chicken was way over done and the sauce (orange chicken) was dark brown, had a slight spicy taste but no orange taste at all. It appeared that the en tree had been cooked for some time before served. Fried rice was good. read more

This is my second and last trip to Panda Express. 1st was in Idaho Falls, This one in Rexburg for take out. First they need to train their employees as to what if any dishes actually have white/breast chicken in them. The first employee told us all were white meat, we knew better and told him "no they're not" so another employee stepped in to help telling us which one's he felt were white meat chicken. Ordered the Teriyaki Chicken which was supposed to be white meat, but I think not ! Threw the majority of it away, slimy and dark, more like chicken thighs. We also ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, which didn't taste bad however it would have been nice if the shrimp was thoroughly peeled, almost every piece we ate had a piece of shell/peel in it. Then to top off the "perfect" meal, we had also ordered the Cheese Rangoon, which when we got home found that even though we were charged for it, they never put it in the bag. read more
