Orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, 1/2 super greens and 1/2 fried rice

Panda Express offers quick, tasty Chinese-American food with generous portions. The orange chicken is a staple. Service is decent, but they had to make a new batch of their popular items. The interior design looks good.

Two beyond "chicken" small entrees with lo mein ($9.32 each)

It's a fast food chain so the food will taste like it. I was happy to hear this location had the beyond orange chicken, and I had a BOGO coupon code, so a perfect opportunity to try it. I got two of the small entrees with the beyond chicken and lo mein ($9.32 each because of the beyond up charge). Food was ready on time, warm, and there were no issues with pick up. The beyond chicken was actually phenomenal and addicting, but the lo mein was much too oily for me and I could barely finish it. The portion size was much smaller than I expected though, and it ended up being just one meal. There is not a lot of volume of food, but the grease can make it seem more filling. Overall, I really liked the plant based protein (except the upcharge) and might try a larger plate option and different base like rice or veggies.

Worst Panda Express by far . Waiting and waiting for broccoli beef and egg rolls and orange chicken over 20 minutes all so I can come home with one of my sides missing . These kids are taking orders and just putting the boxes to the side and then they get jammed with orders and food . So ridiculous so disappointing..... had to tell the guy to put beef in my broccoli beef because he was only giving me vegetables . No duck sauce no fortune cookies .

    This is beer not liquor.

Tenicia is mad rude, she said I'm not allowed to drink liquor inside so I'd have to leave but I was never in posse of any liquor. I don't know how she got a management position but in my opinion she should be stripped from it. More importantly she forgot the teriyaki sauce for my chicken on the Uber order, after calling in and confirming that we'd need extra considering our last order didn't have any sauce at all. I love panda but I'm sad to see that this location has gone down over the years.

Yes! Yes! Yes! The panda has arrived in Lake Nona! I can't tell you how excited my kids were to find out that we have one of the best crappy Chinese food places coming to Lake Nona. Keep in mind when Jeff talks about crappy Chinese food it's a good feeling! If you ever lived in the city or order Chinese takeout then U2 are a lover of crappy Chinese food. And when it comes to crappy Chinese food panda express is the king. No don't let my prologue for this review give you the wrong impression of my piggy to panda. It's good I'm giving it five stars! Because why? Because panda isn't actually that bad as long as the food is turned over regularly for example it's fresh! Fresh! Like a just made it. When they just made it it's delicious if it's gotten saw you sitting in the chafing dish for the last three hours then no it's going to suck I can help assure you of that. Better express is located in the new Lake Nona plaza that is home of Lowes, Sam's, Walmart, TJ Maxx, Petsmart, and just about anything else that is in this exploding area. Oh by the way... Whichever person at panda decided to place a restaurant here is probably going to get a huge bonus for their most insane sales of a panda ever. The place has been busy every time a bit biased, but upon entering I have been dumbfounded it out unbelievably fast this delicious food comes out. Hence fast food...fresh. Yeah yeah yeah... So I lost 100 pounds and I feel like to eat crappy Chinese food. Suggestion just don't eat it all and you will put on 100 pounds well, most likely well but if you do enjoy some of that Beijing beef! Final note, and expressed past Jeff's bathroom Jack. Clean well-stocked and available... Last but not least let me make a note on the decor. Check out my pictures, you'll find a rather progressive and modern design to be inside a panda. This is of course the work of Tavistock development group which makes everyone step up their building. See my review for Chili's more on that. OK OK... One additional final final point. My wife is not a fan of crappy Chinese food like Jeff and the kids are But she did pause halfway through our meal and say I have to tell you and I hate to admit it but this is actually pretty tasty and I am surprised. There you have it from the words of a non-crappy Chinese food lover this crap is it crap it's pretty good. Enjoy and welcome to Lake Nona!

    Service great

Highlights for sure was the calamari which was perfectly cooked and crispy, Peking duck was spot on and skin was perfect with juicy meat. Wonton was house made you can tell and it was awesome. I was disappointed with the steamed oyster as it was well cooked but the taste overall was just not for me. Lobster was also a let down. You could tell it was frozen or not too fresh. The meat was sticking to the shell which is a tell tale sign Overall a stellar meal , I would just avoid some of the dishes above but otherwise it was great

We were seated quickly, and once we ordered the food, it came out in no time. I tried the Stir-Fried Chinese Broccoli with Garlic and the Salt and Pepper Tofu. Besides that I really loved the chee cheong fun with xo sauce and the fried shrimp balls. Maybe because we went on a Monday they didn't do the dim sum carts which I love. But then again, the restaurant isn't too big so I feel like they usually don't do the carts. But this is a way to ensure all the food you're getting is fresh though! I do wish the dim sum menu was a little more varied. I feel like a few staples that I normally gravitate towards weren't there. But there was still enough to have a good filling meal.

Each time I order it, they tell me that shrimp dumplings are extra. They are very much worth it, by the way! The noodles in this soup are egg noodles. The tender bite draws you back. The chinese spinach is nourishing and offers iron to give you strength. The crispy pork is amazing. But it is really crunchy. At this restaurant they sell it by the pound, right along side the hanging duck which is by the pound as well. They sell so many dishes that are well-loved, but I tend to get the soup. It's so nourishing and flavorful. Top tip for parking...you can park in the back, but there are many restaurants on the same aisle so you sometimes have to wait for people to leave.

Mandarin Egg Tofu - Egg tofu is very delicious and is similar to silken tofu consistency and this dish is delicious. It has pork strips, enoki mushrooms , mini corn, snap peas, green onions. The egg tofu is fried first and once you bite into it its very tender and silky smooth texture and kind of creamy. This is my favorite tofu. The house sauce is a big brown based sauce. The snap peas seemed a little overcooked losing its bite and crunchy texture nonetheless still a memorable delicious dish. This would be a great vegetarian dish if you opt out the pork strips, Fish Filet with Black Bean Sauce - This is usually served or listed on the menu as a rice plate dish. I usually eat this dining in and its a delicious plate entree. They use Swai filets for this dish. For $1 extra you can order it as a dish with rice on the side and you get more fish filets etc separate. This is a lightly battered fish filets fried and topped with house brown sauce with slithers of onions and red / green bell peppers. Of course the brown sauce is black bean sauce so you will see speckles of black beans with the sauce. There are ginger notes as well when you devour this dish. The fish filets are cooked perfectly so soft and tender. The rice served here can be better imo. Perhaps better brand or grain rice? Also ordered my regulars ; Walnut Shrimp, Beef Chow Fun. Walnut Shrimp - Request ordering this (take out only) having the broccoli stored separately. This provides the shrimp dish to not be soggy. I think you get more shrimps this way too. Tasty Wok's walnut shrimp is by far the best in orlando imo - they really seasoned the shrimp itself prior to dressing it with their creamy sauce. The sauce has a tad sweetness to it & some sort of umami. The shrimps are jumbo large sized. You get about 10-12? Shrimps in this dish. I have had my share of tasting this dish at different restaurants and by far Tasty Wok's is by far my favorite. Beef Chow Fun - Another favorite from Tasty Wok. Wok Hei present, Tender seasoned beef thinly sliced, and Tender wide noodles. It was under seasoned salt wise but eating it with their creamy sauce seasoned beef makes up for it. Again, ate my share of Beef Chow Fun at many restaurants and by far Tasty Wok's have been my favorite thus far. They offer free mini tubs of chili oil upon request. Also chopsticks. Tasty wok do not seem busy dining in but they are busy with take out orders.

It's about a 20 min Uber ride from Epic Universe, and while they close at 10:30, they stop serving dine in customers around 9:30 PM. Fortunately I called at 9:10 to let them know we were on the way, and they told us they'd allow us to dine in. I appreciate that. The menu is pretty big. Prices are really good for the portion and all entrees come with rice. Can't beat that. I didn't see any noodle soups on the menu but I saw on Yelp someone had a duck noodle soup so we asked if this was offered. They said they could do it. The broth and noodles were good but the duck tasted a little old. We eat a lot of duck so we're kind of picky, but I think for most people, this would be just fine. We also ordered the honey walnut shrimp, mongolian beef, and beef chow fun. The shrimps were really big, lightly battered, but they smothered the dish in that mayo sauce lol Once you wipe off some of the mayo, it's pretty good though. I loved that they served this with steamed broccoli cause greens ya know? And they offered a good amount of walnuts for that crunch. The mongolian beef was delicious and while there were a lot of onions, there was also a lot of tender beef. The flavor was good, not too sweet, not too salty, and not spicy either, despite all the dried peppers. Beef chow fun was a hit. You can really taste the smoky wok hei flavor which makes it authentic. The beef was tender, the ho fun noodles whole and intact. Paired with their chili oil, so good! The chili oil is upon request only, they don't leave it on the table. Be warned, it does have a nice heat to it!. Service was prompt and courteous. For $71, we were able to have a quick, tasty dinner for 3.5 people (3 adults, one 5 year old). Can't beat that.
