I got the fresh and delicious orange chicken with steamed white rice and one crab Rangoon. It was my first visit and I loved it! My husband and daughter have been to others and said this location was particularly good. Grateful to have stopped there! read more

I got the OG orange chicken and it's very good and tastes fresh! Clif helped us with our order and was great!

Forget trying to ever get food here. Multiple times we've stopped while going through Mt Vernon. This time was our last and we left without even getting food. When you have customers right in front of your face waiting to order food don't work on to-go orders or the drive-thru line over and over. I watched probably ten cars go through the drive thru before the kid in front of me even got to place his order. Ridiculous! Will not be back. read more

worst Panda Express I've ever been too. they had no food 30 min before they closed . service was horrible. and worker smelt like absolute crap. never come to this Panda Express ever. read more

The broccoli with beef. If you do not have teeth, you cannot chew it. It is not steamed and when you remove the broccoli you have four tiny shreds of beef. I do not recommend broccoli with beef at all read more

My folks and I drove well over 40 minutes for Panda Express, seeing as they close at 9. We pull into the establishment at approximately 8:07. We go to open the door and what do we find... it's locked. Now why on Earth would they lock the door when they're open for another 50 minutes. We knocked and those youngster workers were staring at us, couldn't even bother to serve us. Extremely disappointed with the neglect of valuable customers. My sister, Wellma, and I just wanted some chicken that's orange. read more

Always great service. Accurate orders. The drive through is a bit cramped. Good location, too.

Panda Express is Panda Express, you know. But I'm writing this review because the employees at this location are so nice!!! I was blown away. I had even gone during lunch hour when it was super busy, but they handled all the customers with patience and kindness. They should get a raise!!! read more

Ordered family meal in drive through and when I arrived home and we set up for dinner the shrimp walnut box was half empty. Returned with receipt and photo of the container, taken before consuming and manager refused to offer any form of credit or discount. read more

Always good when I stop by here for lunch! Definitely worth it versus any of the other surrounding fast food joints.

Came here for one of their grand opening promotions - 1 free side and 2 free entrees with a drink! It really is true! FREE FOOD ALWAYS TASTES BETTER! The line was super long as I expected and it was scorching outside. The combination of free food and extreme heat made some of these people act like rabid animals lol. Luckily, the staff was pretty quick and I had to wait about 10-15 minutes. The interior of the restaurant itself isn't that large. There are a few booths and tables so there's limited seating. The servers were very friendly and quick to get my order together. They were like a well oiled machine. As quick as I was putting in my order was as fast as I was walking out the door, so it's good if you're in a rush. Overall great experience. Dunno if I'll be back soon though seeing I can make the same thing at home but ten times better without all the extra added sugar and fat. But hey, who doesn't like free food?? Ps. IT'S ONLY TIL 8PM SO HURRY! :) read more

Panda Express - Chow mein with mandarin chicken and orange chicken - Chinese Near Me - Mount Vernon, Illinois

See all

Yesterday I picked up great tasting food (the usual) along with friendly service (the usual). Today I found out that our local Panda Express has honest employees as well. I went to get my wallet today in order to pay a bill & panicked when it wasn't in my purse. I called Panda Express to ask if a wallet was turned in & Tiffany said yes they have it. I immediately drove into town to pick it up - so relieved all my credit cards were in it! I inquired as to who found my wallet & Tiffany said an Ryan. I did leave an appreciation reward for the employee but I also want to leave public recognition as well. THANK YOU!!!!!!!! read more

Was craving Chinese food on our road trip and decided to stop into this location. The workers were very nice and the food was delicious. I got the Honey Walnut Shrimp and vegetables and veggie spring rolls. I even got complimented on my shirt. Overall an amazing experience. Best Panda Express I've been too. read more

Friendly, professional faces, delicious food, and clean restaurant. I ordered super greens with shrimp and, despite my insistance on the greens that had been sitting for just a while, was brought out extra, freshly made greens just in case the ones I asked for weren't up to par. Pleasant visit and would recommend! read more

we waited and waited for someone to take our order, we were dining in. the poor girl working the drive through had to stop what she was doing and help us. there were 5+ employees in the back that we could see, they could clearly see us. the girl working the drive though was so sweet and apologized. there wasn't anyone cooking in the kitchen either, she kept having to yell to the back that she was running out of food. but we can't figure out why we're having a hard time finding good employees? read more

Ordered the family pack to go... some of it was decent, but the Chow Mein (noodles) were so dry it was as if you left spaghetti out for an hour (or two) to dry then served it... The Crab Rangoon was so cold and solidified, the filling was dry and cracking, you could barely bite through the dough part. The egg rolls looked as if they were cooked in month old grease twice for too long (and tasted the same)... it was just horrible. The Sweet Fire Chicken Breast which is breaded, was SO ROCK HARD YOU ALMOST COULDN'T BITE THROUGH IT. To be fair, strangely, the Kung Pao Chicken was fair and the Black Pepper Chicken was actually quite good. It's obvious that the bad food had been sitting there for quite a while... a long long while. Too bad, this place is clean, bright and some of the food is good... but when you waste half of the food you ordered... Well, we will never order at this chain again. Ordered at 5:25 on a Sunday evening on playoff football night... so not as if it was right before closing... no excuse. read more

Checked calories online and ordered veggie spring rolls for a snack for me and shrimp dish with veggies for my husband. Delicious and reasonably healthy if you order carefully. Check out the menu and nutrition online before you go. Nice addition to Mt. Vernon food options. read more

Lousy place food was cold and the servers just did not seem to care if you were waited on are not and servers were rude so they received no tip. The heck with that dump. read more

Ridiculous service... Sat in line for OVER 20 minutes. I was the next person in line to order and they SHUT OFF the menu screen lights. Of course I have to pull forward (there was another vehicle behind me as well) so that I could be told that they are CLOSED!!! You gotta be kidding me! They wouldn't even serve the customers that had been waiting in line? You guys really need to re-evaluate your priorities... Awful customer service! read more

Panda Express is Chinese American fast food. Don't expect anything more and you won't be disappointed. The food is flavorful, the entrees are prepared in small batches and tasted fresh. read more

The visit here was awesome. The entire staff was very nice, I can tell the manger on shift was pushing them very good. Thanks!

Decent location. Nice employees. Had the Mushroom Chicken with steamed rice. Quick service.

This review is just for dining in. For those with babies, avoid this place unless you want to change your kids diaper in the car. They don't have a changing table! Weird that they have high chairs though. read more

Poor choices for vegetarians, which is not usual in a Chinese Restaurant, but this is far from that. The food Is okay (read: edible) but not much better. The rice was well cooked and once they prepared some fresh steamed vegetables for my wife and I those were pretty good too. The vegetable spring rolls (real loose with the authenticity here) were mushy inside and the ingredients were indiscernible. I would like to say that the fortune cookie did something positive for the meal but they were pale and flavorless which is saying something for a fortune cookie. The only reason I am giving this one star is because of the fresh vegetables that were not cooked to death. We won't be back. read more

The place is very new and nice. I got the orange chicken and chow mein and then got sick two hours later, so something was wrong with the food. It tasted normal but something was wrong. I won't go back to this location. read more

I'm always pleased when I dine at this location. The food is always tasty and hot. The dining area and restrooms are clean. That's all I really expect out of a fast food restaurant, so I am a happy repeat customer. read more

My wife & I went in for the very first time tonight. Staff was very friendly. But as far as the food well I must say it was cold & gross. Except for the chicken they made fresh because they ran out on the line. Sorry but we will not be back. read more

Great Panda Express. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly and courteous employee and all of the food trays were full of fresh panda goodness. Nothing looked old or bottom of the barrel, and everything tasted exceptional. The restaurant is a newer decor panda, of the modern style, and the staff keeps it very clean. Literally the second we left our table, someone came to wipe it down. The restrooms were also sparkling clean. Overall, probably one of the best Panda Expresses I've ever been to. read more

I've tried to go here twice and both times the line failed to move the 20 minutes I was inside. First time they were handling a bus of kids so I understand that, tonight I stopped here and instead of waiting on other people in line they're taking care of a group of teens that have placed upwards of 6 orders. Awful/nonexistent service. read more

I order the 4 portion platter ( everything full order) . I sent my boyfriend to pick it up they gave me 1 full order or Rice n 3 child size portion. When I called the manager was a B**** and said she gave me the right size BS this is not my first time eating at a Panda. They charged me over $10 and didn't give us his veterans discount . I will never order from them again, to bad I can't post pictures. I also picked my food up at 11:20a.m the food tasted old. Smh read more

Great place!! They are very friendly and the place is very clean. The food tastes phenomenal I will definitely be returning. A++

It was disgusting. The restraint was clean looking but the food was nasty. First off they portioned your food for you, it's not a buffet style. They gave u way too much portion of the sides that you had to get unless you wanted to pay for everything seperately.! The egg rolls were dry and the Rangoon tasted funny. And not to mention $41 some for THREE PEOPLE.! Outrageously outrageous.! Smh it don't even deserve a one star rating.! read more

I love Panda Express. I have never had a bad meal from this place and the restaurant is always soo clean..:)

Staff was very friendly, place looked clean. Worst crab Ragoon I've ever ate, Kung pao was packed with lots of red peppers took forever to dig them out.. I almost chipped a tooth on a bone in the chicken. Wife commented that the food was like it had been sitting out for a long time b4 served! Don't recommend, won't return! read more
