I kindly asked for a sample and the server simply said we don't give out samples and stared me down. Me, "Um ok." I asked her what does it taste like and she said it's honey sesame chicken. It has honey. Me, "Um ok." So I order the honey sesame chicken and the honey walnut shrimp... but for an added $1.50. I received 5 shrimps! 5. The portions of protein are beyond disappointing and I won't be dining at this place ever again. Maybe start with raising the AC temp and then work on better customer service. Based on previous reviews, I'm not the only one. As far as the portions, the owner of this establishment needs to recognize they will be far superior in sales if they would provide bigger portions. No surprises here, it's a well-known brand. I found this location nicely laid out inside, lots of tables for two, and clean. Parking is also easy since it's part of the expanding shopping center between Nason and Moreno Beach. The advertised specials included a spicy version of the orange chicken entée, so I decided that'd be perfect. I noticed that the names of the old combinations changed, so I narrowed it down to what they now call a "bowl". Essentially, it's one item with fried rice and chow mein, or all of one. Their fried rice is actually pretty decent, but I decided to try both. Food came out fast, and service was also good. I enjoyed the spicy rendition, but the chicken itself seems 10x sweeter than I remember. The rice was good, as expected, and the chow mein somewhat uninspired. Came to this location on our way home from Indio. This place has 2 super long tables enough to accommodate a party of 16!(FYI) food was hot, fresh, and on point. The restaurant was clean and the whole time I was there someone quickly cleaned tables after customers left. I had the hot shrimp item in a bowl. It was sooooo good!! Love the crunchy green beans and peppers. AC was on full blast perfect for 89 degree weather outside. Will definitely come back to this location if I'm around the area. Had to go back and get them. Panda was good food but their portion size is no longer Acceptable after five years. I will not be going back here again. Clean bathrooms which surprised me the most. Food service was fast and they were nice but she charged me 1.50$ extra for something I didn't order. It was cabbage and onion, and you could tell it was from the bottom of the barrel so disgusting. Well this isn't the first time this has happened but this time I took a pic. The Broccoli Beef, should sell as "mushy broccoli with little or no beef." Check out the pic, there was only 2 pieces of broccoli worth eating and only 3 pieces of meat and way too much rice as usual. One of the other orders had fried rice when we requested white rice. I personally don't like eating here for these reasons, that's why I went next door to Carls Jr but my gf and her kids keep coming here and making the same mistake over and over. I'm not sure what the problem is but if you walk inside and request exactly how you want your meal prepared they seem to do better, but the drive thru is were you take your chances. I'm not trying to say it was "moldy" to describe it as it was cooked bad but it legitimately tasted moldy.. my girlfriend and I each took a bite to make sure that we werent imagining things.. it straight up tasted like mold and we had to throw away all the chow mein we bought. So disappointed with the food and service I received just now. Last minute, decided to grab Panda for dinner tonight. Should've just had a bowl of ramen! I use the drive thru and just felt the girl on the other end was pushy AF! I ordered a family meal and was trying to decide which 2 other entrees to order. Pushy-person was just very impatient. As if they were even busy! We were literally the only cat in the drive thru! ‍ I told her, give me a minute I'm trying to figure it out.. Managed to get through the ordering phase and now comes the meet and greet! Yay!! Pull up to a very hairy arm which could've been a man or woman, I didn't know until they turned around. I go to hand my card over to the Man and just wanted to confirm that the correct number of rangoons were ordered. The confirmation menu showed 1 order.. I don't think he liked my question.. This man literally rolled his eyes and said yes! TF?!? Why the eye roll?! I'm not a rude person at all, so I'm confused by this interaction! This isn't even the best part! We get home, dish out all the food, go to enjoy my Rangoons and they are soggy and not even that golden crispy look that they usually are! The broccoli bed liked so sad, I couldn't even bring myself to eat it! The hubby on the other hand.. he'll eat almost anything!
