Anyhow, the girl at the window forgot to give me the drink and I'm still wondering how my bill reached $22, but I'll ask specifically next for the receipt and breakdown. The sandwich was so thin that it looked more like something you would pick up from a gas station than what you would expect from a restaurant. For the price and the way it was presented on the menu, I expected a much fuller and more satisfying sandwich. The flavor may have been fine, but the portion did not come close to meeting expectations. I hope management takes a look at the portion size because customers ordering a pastrami sandwich should feel like they are getting what they paid for.

The vegan food was tasty, but I did feel that it was pretty expensive for what you get. Unfortunately, the food also ended up upsetting my stomach, which took away from the overall experience. The employees were always friendly and it was usually busy. This location is in the Riverside food lab sharing the building with other restaurants. It could be difficult to find a table and seat especially on the weekends. I recently found out that this location is permanently closed, so I'm glad I got to try it while it was still around. Overall, it was an okay experience, but not one that completely won me over.

MANAGER IS EXTREMELY RUDE!!!. The manager is this extremely feminine gay guy who's very disrespectful off the bat. I asked for the code to the bathroom and he goes "you have to order something above $5 for the bathroom code" very rudely. What type of restaurant requires you to buy $5 worth of food just to go pee?! I proceeded to buy something and realized he only gave me 2 sauces for a 10 pc chicken tender. I then asked him for 2 more and he says I have to buy them for 25 cents in a rude matter as well. Why do they expect 2 sauces to cover strips knowing they're a decent size! I proceeded to buy the sauces from another guy who was extremely friendly and he had apologized to me for his managers behavior and told me he wanted to quit because of his manager. If an employee has to tell you that he wants to quit because of his own manager that says a lot. I've also had others tell me they hate going there when he's there. I was there and watched the manager demean a customer who had a legitimate complaint about a messed up order and a jealous worker lady being rude. Dont get your order from C girl. Apparently she will mess it up just because you look pretty or you know her ex boyfriend. This Carls looks nice on the outside, but is trashy on the inside. If I could give no stars I would. We waited 15 minutes in the drive thru for two sandwiches and one biscuit and gravy. The girl never repeated our order to us, we pulled up the window and she asked us if we had the $15 order.
