I come here every so often when I'm in the mood for a good ass burger and more fries than I can handle. Walking into an empty house almost every time feels so oddly calming; perfect even. Coming in with my Mom and staring at the dining area, knowing the food is going to be hot and fresh, is probably one of the best feelings I've had at a burger spot. The giant red soda machine was always a reminder that I was a kid once who mixed every Hi-C flavor until he crapped everywhere (totally worth it). Opening the crisp, shiny wrapper to reveal a beautiful Cheeseburger that's cheese melts down the sides but somehow isnt the tiniest bit overdoing itself, along with the buns being perfectly toasted, could make a human being commit unspeakable acts. Considering the care and quality put into the food here, it's safe to say that these employees truly care about what they're feeding their customers. While having to pay nearly 15 dollars for a burger and drink is a large ask, it ultimately comes with no regrets when your belly is satisfied and the room is cranking the AC on a hot day. My first time at Five Guys and I'm honestly surprised it wasn't packed.....especially for a Monday afternoon. This place deserves way more hype! Especially because it's been here a while. I don't really get the obsession with In-N-Out Burger, but this? I get it. Completely different level. I ordered a "little fry," and let me just say... that was NOT little they definitely don't hold back, which I love. The burger looked so good I completely forgot to take a picture before devouring it, no regrets. And the milkshake? Top tier. So creamy and flavorful. What really stood out to me was the service. Great food. Customer service was great. Tables weren't the cleanest. Loved the free peanuts. Did not appreciate that they didn't have free water cups though. My family tries to balance junk food, so being forced to buy a cup or buy a soft drink, especially in this heat, was annoying. Their general prices are on the steeper end (~$12+/burger), so to then buy drinks on top made the meal unreasonable. Free water is an easy way to take care of your customers. What a awesome crew! From the moment I walked into this place I was greeted with honest friendliness that continued throughout my stay. While eating my perfectly customized meal, one person passed out a sample of their new Blueberry milkshake. I enjoyed their interaction with each customer. The food was exceptional and their service. I need to start by saying the service was great, but I needed to give a one star review because of the size of the fries. For $10 after tip, I received less than half of a small lunch bag of fries... I understand going for a more environmentally friendly package, but lowering the amount of fries while maintaining such a high price for an order of fries is ridiculous! I don't mind paying $10 for a large order of fries, but I expect a LARGE order of fries! It's somehow weirdly satisfying to walk into a retail place and see 6-7 happy and engaged workers. I got the veggie sandwich with cheese. The cook recommended adding jalapeños. Nothing out of the ordinary. But, as I sat eating my food I watched this team excel serving other customers after me. We came in around 9:30 PM to get a burger patty for our dog. It was close to closing time, so I was surprised to see others still ordering and waiting. We ordered the burger patty ($2.00) and decided to get a couple fries for ourselves too... and wow, $7.79 for a large fries? Kind of ridiculous in price, but we still ordered two. The fries were two large cups and the employee filled up half the bag for us too. We ended up waiting about 15 to 20 minutes... for just a single burger patty and two fries... Overall... it was a long wait, expensive food, and we ended up needing to air fry the fries when we got home because they were just too soggy. The sign said open and the door was unlocked, so I don't know why she got an attitude with me. They should have turned off the open sign and locked the door. Today was not as good as the first visit. I guess it all depends on who's working that day. The food was good don't get me wrong it just wasn't prepared to the perfection as the first visit. Trash all over the floor, tables pretty much all dirty. The area where you grab ketchup or napkins or straws was a total mess. Cups of ketchup sitting around, no straws. Just looked like a total lack of giving a s***. Then the customer that ordered before my family as she was leaving had a little freak out because a roach was running across the floor near her. No reaction from anyone working. One of the workers finally began to clean things up. He swept the floors and cleaned up the counter near the ketchup dispenser. It wasn't even busy when we came in and there was no reason for someone to not be cleaning up the dining area or at least maintaining it. I particularly love this location because they're always playing great music and their staff is always extremely energetic and kind. Decided to give this place another try. I had a gift card I hadn't used so I decided why not? I go in, order my food gift card doesn't work. I'm already here so I'm like whatever I'll just pay normally. I pay and wait for my food, soda machine is out of pretty much everything which was a bummer but it wasn't until I got my burger that I was actually annoyed. I was recently introduced to this place. I absolutely LOVE the cheeseburgers and I'm not one to like burgers. I add mayo, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms and pickles... that's it. My husband, daughter and I share the fries. We first ordered large fries to share, but they were too many we didn't finish them. Then we tried the regular ones and they are still too many to finish... it doesn't help extra fries get tossed in each bag. Next time we'll try a small order of fries and see if that is more than enough for the three of us. The workers are always polite and it's pretty clean inside, but I haven't frequented the restroom. Free Peanuts to show their customers their use of peanut oil, which is an alternative to other crappy, gross, unhealthy oil other burger places use. It's cute, I suppose. I love how it's free and peanuts are great for you. However the burger itself wasn't extraordinary as others have hyped up to be. It was tasty but I would've definitely preferred an In-n-Out rather than Five Guys. Not only for the price, but for their taste as well. I give points though for allowing us to add special ingredients and toppings like, BBQ Sauce, Hot Sauce, Jalapeno peppers, and other weird shit you don't typically find in a burger.
