I'm pretty sure I've had just about everything on their menu from the hot dogs to the burgers to their sandwiches and salads. I have to say they're chili cheese. Fries are probably my favorite from any restaurant. I think it's something about the nacho cheese that they use, which doesn't say much, but they are incredible. The service is always pretty quick here, even when I ask for my dogs to be well done. I love the decor inside of this place, because it's a throwback to an old time. Chicago era. The only thing I wish they do is get rid of their kiosks to order because I don't like when businesses replace employees with computers. That's my only gripe. So, stop in and enjoy a dog but make sure a person takes your order, not the funky kiosk.

It needs to be THICK like at Tommy's and Cupid's. The fries were no big deal. Speedy service, as the inside was just about empty on Thursday around 3 p.m. How about selling just the raw dogs so we can take them home and make our own? These were not anywhere near as good as Cupid's in the San Fernando Valley on Winnetka.....which has been the gold standard for decades!!

The street taco was flavorful and good - about what you'd expect from a cubed steak taco. The hot sauce was good - just enough zing but not overpowering. They only have outdoor seating. Generally we see city employees taking their meal breaks there. On this particular lunch, it was a bit cool out, so we ate in our car. The trash cans were convenient so it was easy to throw our trash away. If we are out and about, between errands, we would stop by again.

It's a lot of bun with every bite and so I personally feel like I miss the full impact of having a balance of all aspects of the hog father. Service was standard-issue.
