I forgot to leave my review last time I was served up some heat. Anyways I went with that standard Steak fries this time, however I that Strawberry crack and Korean BBQ blend had to be tried. It don't disappoint me. Paired that with a Caramel Apple shake. My lady ordered Hibachi Fries this go around and for the 2nd time she likes em. Might be her favorite. She washed that down with two different signature koolades (all the flavors are some heat, you can't lose). Oh and we got the biscotti funnel fries with ice cream. I was really excited to try FryNot's loaded fries since I'd heard about their seafood options. I ordered the full plate of crawfish loaded fries with shrimp added (the $5 upcharge), which came out to $30 with tax. I appreciate fresh food and don't mind waiting, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish. The spot is just a small counter inside a dated, run-down food court that has definitely seen better days. Instead of a proper menu board, they have the menu taped to the window in front of the counter. It's sun-faded, shoved inside a scratched-up plastic cover, and so hard to read you basically have to squint and guess half the items. When I went, I was the only customer there, yet it still took a full 20 minutes to get my plate cooked and handed over. They recommended the Parmesan garlic and lemon pepper sauces, which sounded decent, but the reality was rough. The fries were thin, pasty, completely soggy, like the oil hadn't been changed in a while. The crawfish were tiny little things, barely noticeable, and the shrimp portion was just six pieces for that extra five bucks. On top of everything, the whole plate wasn't hot when they served it. For $30, I was expecting something that felt premium or at least worth the price, but this was far from it. Super let down. Definitely won't be back. read more

My complaint is about the fries. They lacked taste and did not taste good. Fries are simple- you fry them. It tasted as if they had been microwaved. The texture was soggy and had a distinct taste. I felt kinda played honestly considering its a pricey plate (which isn't the problem, I just expect fries to taste like fries) It was about noon when we went and it was slow, i feel that they might not have had their fryer on. Was craving loaded fries and stumbled across this hidden gem! This place is quite small, it's like a food court stall but there is plenty of seating even if not right in front of the stall! The Fruity Pebbles Funnel Fries were fun and delicious, and the Elote Tacos with chicken were packed with amazing flavor. The major standouts for me were the jumbo hot dogs and the chicken fries. We got the taco trio special on a Tuesday which comes with 1 elote taco w/steak, 1 chicken taco, and 1 steak taco with green sauce. Also had to give one of their fries a shot. We wanted the crawfish fries but they were out so we resorted to Chicken fries and the owner recommended we add shrimp which was GOLDEN!!! We got z the honey garlic and hot honey sauces for those and it was Super good. Only thing that I can say were the fries were not as fresh as we were hoping for which could have been because we did come in very late. Maybe the fries are more fresh early in the day but even then, everything was still so gooooood! We are definitely going to be going back again. Highly highly recommend this place! Workers/owner was super cool and super helpful with the recommendations. They also have a cute little station with a table and coloring books and dominoes which was actually really nice.
